Christian Mumenthaler

David Munro

Group Executive, The Standard Bank Group (2022-2023), South Africa

David Munro has retired after a career of 27 years with the Standard Bank Group that included roles as CEO of the groups separately listed long term insurance company, Liberty Holdings Limited, CEO of the groups Corporate and Investment Banking business, and most recently as Group Execuitve of Standard Bank Group responsible for integration of the insurance and banking operations post the buy out of the Liberty minorities. Standard Bank Group is a South Africa-based financial services company with a global presence, operating from 18 African countries and 13 countries on other continents, including the key financial centres of Europe, the Americas and Asia. David is a Chartered Accountant (CA) in South Africa with expertise in investment banking and emerging markets, with specific emphasis on Africa, the BRIC countries and natural resources.
David has remained as Chairman of STANLIB, the asset management arm of Standard Bank Group and is a non executive director of Liberty 2 Degrees, a listed REIT in SA that owns iconic properties including Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square.

Alaa Murabit

Director, Global Policy, Advocacy and Communications, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USA

A leading security, sustainable development, and global health expert, Dr. Alaa Murabit expertise shapes health and security strategies, policies and resources across 193 countries. Alaa is a UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate appointed by the UN Secretary-General, the Director of Global Policy, Advocacy, and Communications at the Gates Foundation, and a UN High-Level Commissioner on Health, Employment, and Economic Growth.

At 21, Alaa founded Voice of Libyan Women, sparking a global dialogue on the influence of religious interpretations on women's leadership and security in conflict zones. Her TED Talk has garnered over seven million views, and the New York Times cited it as "defining the future of feminism." Her contributions to global security, health, gender, faith leadership, and sustainability have earned her prestigious recognitions, including the Canadian Meritorious Service Cross, the 2021 Harvard Radcliffe Fellowship, MIT Media Lab Fellow, the Nelson Mandela International Award, and New York Times Hero.

A medical doctor, Alaa is a 2022 World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, serves on the Malala Fund and Women for Women International boards and in her spare time, she moonlights as a personal assistant to her two toddlers.

Omar Mustapha

Chairman, Room Capital, Malaysia

Omar Mustapha is Managing Partner of Ethos & Co., a Malaysian boutique strategy consulting practice and a General Partner of Ethos Capital, a private equity firm with interests in South-East Asia. Previously, Mustapha served as Special Assistant to Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. He was also a consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Tom Mustill

Director, Gripping Films Ltd, United Kingdom

Tom Mustill is a Producer, Director and Writer specializing in stories of where people and nature meet. He makes anything from 90-minute specials to three-minute virals. His short, #NatureNow, has been seen over 60 million times. He also directed on the blockbuster Inside Nature’s Giants series, which won a BAFTA, Royal Television Society and Broadcast award, as well as the ZSL Award for Communicating Zoology.

Demet Mutlu

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Trendyol, Türkiye

Studies, Harvard, New York University. Founder and Chief Executive Officer, trendyol.com, the largest e-commerce company in Turkey. Founding Partner, Peak Games, a mobile gaming company. Angel investor in six technology companies worldwide. Global Shaper, World Economic Forum. Vinati Mutreja

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Vinati Organics Limited, India

Vinati Mutreja is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of specialty chemical company Vinati Organics, where she has overseen an increase in revenue and market capitalization. She has been innovative in selecting chemical processes and products that are environmentally attractive. The jury of The Economic Times Family Business Awards chose Mutreja as the Outstanding Woman Business Leader for 2018. She was also named as part of Forbes India W-Power Trailblazers 2019 and The Economic Times Women Ahead 2019 list.

James Mwangi

Founder and CEO, Africa Climate Ventures, Rwanda

AB (Hons) in Economics, Harvard University. Executive Director, Dalberg Group, a collection of impact-driven businesses that seek to champion inclusive and sustainable growth around the world. As a consultant, has advised senior public, private and social sector leaders on issues of inclusive and sustainable growth frontier markets, particularly in Africa. 2009 Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow and Member of the Board, African Leadership Institute. Member, United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council.

Griffin Myers

Co-founder and Board Member, Oak Street Health, USA

Dr. Griffin Myers is a Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at Oak Street Health, (NYSE: OSH), a network of primary care centers that delivers value-based care to older adults. He serves on the Board of Directors and is involved in supporting the 5,000+ employees caring for Oak Street Health patients.

Prior to Oak Street Health, Dr. Myers did his residency in emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School at the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals. Dr. Myers has a B.S. from Davidson College, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an M.D. from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, an Adjunct Instructor at Northwestern University, a Presidential Leadership Scholar, and an Aspen Health Innovators Fellow. He splits his time between New York City and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Jaime Nack

President, Three Squares Inc., USA

Jaime Nack is the President of Three Squares Inc. (TSI) - an award-winning sustainability and ESG consulting firm. Having worked on all seven continents (including Antarctica), TSI is a global leader in developing and implementing sustainability strategies for complex, high profile projects involving governments, corporations, investors, and industry groups. TSI also delivers ESG advisory services at the board level and complete strategy services at the organizational level, guiding clients through industry disclosures and frameworks. TSI carries a robust client roster and has enjoyed working with organizations including Sony, Universal, Nike, ESPN, Honda, HP, Disney, LVMH, United Airlines, and more.

Nack also served as the director of sustainability for several high-profile events, including the Global Climate Action Summit and the last four US Democratic National Conventions from 2008 to 2020.

Nack was named the “Environmental Conservator of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She was appointed under the Obama administration to serve on the National Women’s Business Council, an advisory council to the President, Congress, and the SBA on economic issues of importance to women business owners. She proudly serves as one of Al Gore’s presenters for The Climate Reality Project.

Nack holds a Master’s in Public Policy from UCLA, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in International Economics with a specialization in Latin America.

Yoshinobu Nagamine

Senior Manager, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Switzerland

Snr Manager at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance mobilising government and private resources to protect children from vaccine preventable diseases. Passionate about leveraging innovation & technology in global health and sourcing financial & political capital for impact (raised over USD 500m in three years). During the C19 pandemic, he was part of COVAX, the global procurement mechanism of C19 vaccines for developing countries with a focus on Africa. Founder of Fourgoods.org, a transformational programme for high-school students to become next generation change makers.
Previously with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) assisting war victims in DRC and Afghanistan. Founded and headed the ICRC office in Japan (https://jp.icrc.org/). As a researcher, he interviewed Taliban members and wrote a book on how to ensure compliance with humanitarian law by non-state actors.
