Brian A. Wong

Gareth Wong
Gareth is currently Head, Group Strategy & Projects in SembCorp Industries Pte Ltd. Seated in the office of the Group President & CEO, Gareth is responsible for streamlining the Group’s strategic plans and key initiatives as a leading energy and urban solutions provider. He is also concurrently the Head of the Group's industrial & urban developments portfolio in Indonesia.
Headquartered in Singapore, Sembcorp is a global expert in energy transition and sustainable development. Sembcorp has a balanced energy portfolio of ~18GW, with over 12GW of renewable energy capacity comprising solar, wind and energy storage globally. The company also has a proven track record of transforming raw land into sustainable urban developments, with a project portfolio spanning over 14,000 hectares across Asia.
Prior to joining SembCorp, Gareth was the Founding CEO of Mitbana Pte Ltd, a joint-venture fund management company of Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong.
Gareth sits on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Singapore and is a member of the Urban Land Authority’s (URA) International Panel of Experts.
Gareth holds a BSc. in Economics (First Class Hons, Dean’s List) from University College London, and a MSc. in Political Science from Columbia University in the City of New York

Douglas C K Woo
Douglas C.K. Woo is Chairman of Hong Kong-headquartered Wheelock Group. The prominent investment and development group is principally engaged in property development in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore; cargo terminals operation; hotels; retail; and property asset management. The group engages about 12,500 staff across Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Woo serves as Chairman of the Environment and Conservation Fund. He is the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is on the boards or governing bodies of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, WWF-Hong Kong and The Nature Conservancy. He also serves on the advisory council of HKUST Business School.
Mr. Woo graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Architecture and received an EMBA from HKUST and Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters by Savannah College of Art and Design (Hong Kong). He has been named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Cynthia Wu
Cynthia Wu is a business executive, nonprofit leader and philanthropist. She began her career in financial services as an investment analyst at Merrill Lynch in London. She moved back to Taipei to work for her family business, the Shin Kong (SK) Group, which was founded in 1945 and has several areas of business including financial services, real estate, energy, retail, health care and security. Rising in the ranks to become Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning at Shin Kong Life, Cynthia now oversees transformation planning, human resources and business development into ASEAN countries. As Executive Director of the SK Life Foundation she has won several national awards, including the National Civic Service Award for the best NGO in Taiwan and also started a local social enterprise which is now expanding their operations in Asia.
She studied for her BA at Wellesley College, her MBA at London Business School, and her MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art. She serves a board member on several companies in SK group and was also a U.K. trustee of the Institute for Philanthropy and the international board member of The Philanthropy Workshop. Cynthia has been named as one of China’s 100 outstanding female entrepreneurs, and is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Michele Wucker

Peter Würtenberger
Peter Würtenberger is Executive Vice President at Axel Springer (Europe’s leading digital publisher).
Previously Peter held positions as CEO of UPDAY for SAMSUNG, CMO of Axel Springer SE, responsible for growing print and digital advertising revenues, as CEO of the WELT Newspaper Group and as CEO of BILD.T-Online. Before Axel Springer he served in various management positions at Yahoo! and Bertelsmann.
Peter holds a degree in Business Management from Cologne University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. From 2008 to 2012 he was an active member of the Group of Young Global Leaders at the World Economic Forum, Davos, Switzerland. In 2013 he spent 10 months on a digital research project in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, in order to support Axel Springer’s digital transformation. In his free time he enjoys music, contemporary arts and sports.

Werner Wutscher
Werner Wutscher is a Member of the Board of resPACT, the Austrian Business Council for Sustainable Development. He also works as consultant and business angel in the start-up area. Wutscher scouts interesting start-ups around the world and serves as a facilitator for start-up ventures. As an angel investor he focuses on e-commerce and retail. He also serves as director on different boards in Austria, Mumbai and Amman. Werner was COO and CFO of Rewe International. Prior, he worked as Secretary-General of the Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management of Austria, and he served as a special adviser to the Minister for Agriculture and in a public company. Wutscher is Vice-President of the Ökosoziales Forum Europe and President of the National Park Hohe Tauern. He was awarded “Business Angel of 2012” and is Member of the Board of the Austrian Business Angel Association. Wutscher obtained a law degree from Karl-Franzens University in Graz and holds a Master's degree from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Weiwei Xing
Weiwei Xing is a Partner at Bain & Company. Based in Hong Kong, she leads the Asia consumer products practice with a particular focus on Greater China. Beyond her work at Bain, Weiwei devotes her expertise to advising non profits in operational improvement, strategic planning and fundraising.

Xue Peng
Xue Peng is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FlashEx (Shansong), a delivery company that has provided short-distance and intercity courier services since 2014. After Xue graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, he went back to China and started FlashEx in 2013. He has avoided direct competition in the heated delivery market with giant players on domestic or international delivery by focussing on intercity delivery only, thus opening an entire new market in the industry. FlashEx is now a leading player in the field.

Yuito Yamada
Yuito Yamada is a Partner at McKinsey & Company, serving as Asia’s co-leader and Japan’s leader for McKinsey Sustainability, the firm’s global client service platform to help all industry sectors achieve net zero emissions by 2050. In this role, his influence and activities span topics as broad as sustainability transformation, portfolio decarbonization, and green business globalization, particularly in support of the Global Energy & Materials practice (covering players in the power, chemicals, materials, and agriculture sectors), the Financial & Banking practice (serving the world’s largest financial institutions on sustainability topics) and the Public Sector practice. After an adolescence that spanned Singapore, New York, and London, Yuito returned to Japan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in economics from Keio University. He has also a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge in Sustainability Leadership from CISL (Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership).

Yang Lin
Lin is named as a Young Global Leader and New Champion with the World Economic Forum. She is a seasoned cross-discipline, cross-culture entrepreneur, executive and former TV News Anchor; Her career spans across Business-Policy-Media; Founder of Innovation Ideas Institute dedicated to foster Innovation thought leadership; With uniquely combined background in TV+VC+higher education, currently building The INNOVATORS, the 1st virtual & visual innovation eco-system for academia, industry leaders, startup disruptors, venture capitalists, and policy makers. She also had extensive experiences in think tanks on international relations.
Her professional footprint ranges from broadcasting at the world's largest TV studios to researching and lecturing at the finest universities to building entrepreneurial 3i think tank and INNOVATORS platform; from fireside chats with policy makers, multinational business leaders to interviews with the most cutting edge startup founders; from researching with farmers in rural mountains to studying the smart manufacturing 4.0 factories; from conversing with Uber drivers in cities around the world to discussing with the brightest minds in US-China policy…

Charles Yang Zhaoxuan
Charles Zhaoxuan Yang has served as So-Young International Inc.'s independent director since May 2019. Mr. Yang is the chief financial officer of NetEase, Inc., NASDAQ: NTES, and a director of KANZHUN LIMITED (NASDAQ: BZ). Before joining NetEase, Inc. in 2017, Mr. Yang was an executive director of the China technology, media and telecommunications, and corporate finance team at J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited based in Hong Kong and worked there for almost a decade. Mr. Yang holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University with majors in Economics and Mathematics. Mr. Yang is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Michigan.
