Yulia Shakhnovskaya

Founder, Aubaree Group, Spain

Ms. Shakhnovskaya was born in 1979 and graduated from Faculty of Law, Moscow State University in 2001. She has worked in Russian and international law firms, then held numerous leadership positions at RAO UES, the former electric power monopoly of Russia. At the time, the company underwent a period of extraordinary reorganization as the liberalisation of utility market was happening in Russia. In 2008-2009 as Director of the Iris Art Support and Development Foundation she managed the creation and construction of the Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture and organization of large-scale projects, including exhibitions of Ilya and Emilia Kabakov and François Pinault Foundation collection. The Garage Center has become the leading modern art exhibition centre in Russia. Since 2009 she held leading positions at the Polytechnic Museum, national science and technology museum first as the CEO of the Polytechnic Museum Development Foundation leading an unprecedented $500m fundraising campaign for the Museum's new building and the renovation of its historical building. Since 2013, she is the CEO of the Polytechnic Museum itself leading its transformation from an old-style Soviet institution to a modern science museum.

António Simões

Group Chief Executive Officer, Legal & General Group, United Kingdom

António Simões is the Group CEO for Legal & General Group.

Prior to joining Legal & General, António was the CEO of Santander Spain and Regional Head of Europe since April 2021 and September 2020, respectively.

Before joining Santander, António spent 13 years at HSBC in a series of executive positions in London and Hong Kong; starting with strategy and M&A and then moving to leading different businesses as UK/European CEO and finally, global CEO of private banking. Prior to that, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company working in financial services across several geographies.

António studied in Lisbon (Nova School of Business and Economics), Milan (Bocconi) and the United States (MBA from Columbia University). In 2009, he was appointed a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and a few years later completed a WEF leadership programme at Harvard Kennedy School. António was previously a member of the Practitioner Panel of the Financial Conduct Authority from July 2013 and was chair of the panel from August 2015 to August 2017. He was also a member of the Practitioner Panel of the Prudential Regulation Authority.

He is a vocal campaigner on youth unemployment issues and has been involved with the Prince’s Trust since 2012. He became a Trustee of Prince’s Trust International in 2018.

He is married and currently lives with his husband and two children between London and Madrid.

H.R.H. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais

Chair, International Board, Amnesty International, United Kingdom

Described by the Sunday Times as “an activist, academic, and an aristocrat out to shatter myths surrounding mental illness and psychology”, Dr. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais is an international psychology trauma specialist, Founder and Director of Fourth Dimension Consultancy, and the Chair of the International Board of Amnesty International. Dr. Bais's focus is human rights and mental health through a feminist lens. She was a thought leader and strategist inspiring on psychology, leadership, and human rights on her Lite FM radio show Mind Matters which had a weekly listenership of 1 million. Named a Fellow of the Apolitical Academy, Prestige Magazine's 40 Under 40, and bestowed the Global Citizen Psychologist Citation from the American Psychological Association, Bais is an alumni of Lady Shri Ram College, University College London, Columbia University, The Chicago School, a member of YPO and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. With two decades in the international fashion industry as a model and named a super model by Vogue, Bais's prerequisite for appearing on covers is that staunch attention is paid to body positivity. She has received Savvy's people's choice award for being the role model women most believed in.

Virginijus Sinkevicius

Member of the European Parliament, European Parliament, Belgium

Virginijus Sinkevičius has been the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries since 2019. He was formerly the Minister of Economy of Lithuania (2017-2019). Before becoming the Minister of Economy, Sinkevičius led the Economic Committee of the Parliament of Lithuania. Sinkevičius was elected to Parliament in October 2016. Before that, he was a Team Lead for Regulatory Affairs at Invest Lithuania. Prior to joining Invest Lithuania, Sinkevičius was Managing Editor at the US Office of The Lithuanian Tribune in Washington D.C. Sinkevičius holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from Aberystwyth University and a Master’s degree in European International Affairs from Maastricht University.

Birgit Skarstein

Member of the Athletes Commission, International Paralympic Committee, Germany

Birgit Skarstein is a Paralympic Champion, multiple World Champion and world record holder in rowing, as well as an advocate for the value of an inclusive society and opportunities for people with disabilities. Skarstein’s background comes from political science, and her public service includes four years on the Committee of Finance in Oslo City Council and five years on the Norwegian Advisory Board of Biotechnology.

Skarstein is a six-time World Champion and holds 12 World Championship medals in rowing and Nordic skiing. She has competed in six Paralympic Games and was the Norwegian flag bearer in 2018. She is on her second term as elected member of the Athletes Commission for the International Paralympic Committee.

Skarstein is Co-Founder of the WE foundation, which promotes disability inclusion in sports, work life and social spheres. Skarstein also holds seats on several boards, and figures on TV, radio, podcasts and TEDx.

Skarstein currently chairs the Future Advisory Board of Reitan Retail, guiding responsible retail practices, lately working on sustainability and AI.

Jens Martin Skibsted

David Skilling

Founding Director, Landfall Strategy Group BV, Netherlands

Dr David Skilling is the founding Director of Landfall Strategy Group, an economic and policy advisory firm based in the Netherlands and Singapore. David advises governments, companies, and financial institutions in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe on the impact of global macro, globalisation, and geopolitics, from a small advanced economy perspective. David writes regularly on global economic and political issues, including in a column in Singapore's Straits Times as well as in the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, Project Syndicate, and Nikkei Asian Review. David has recently served as a Senior Advisor to the McKinsey Centre for Government; as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs & Trade in New Zealand; and as a Fellow at Singapore’s Civil Service College. Previously, David was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company in Singapore, as well as being a Senior Fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute. Prior to joining McKinsey at the start of 2009, David was the founding Chief Executive of the New Zealand Institute, a privately funded, non-partisan think-tank. Until 2003, he was a Principal Advisor at the New Zealand Treasury, where he worked primarily on economic growth issues. David has a PhD in Public Policy and a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University, as well as a Master's of Commerce (Hons) in Economics from the University of Auckland.

Sanaa Souidi

Head P&C Facultative EMEA, Swiss Re, Switzerland

Appointed Managing Director, Souidi is responsible for a team of 50 risk experts across two continents. As an excellent strategic thinker, she has positively influenced many of SwissRe's Risk Management Leadership Team's complex topics. She is also Ambassador for the work of the Fondation Marocaine de l'Etudiant (FME).

Milojko Spajić

Prime Minister, Government of Montenegro, Montenegro

Milojko Spajić was born in 1987 in Pljevlja, where he completed Elementary School and High School.
As a scholarship recipient of the Japanese Government, as part of the Monbukagakusho scholarship program, he completed his first year of studies at Osaka University, and then graduated from a regular four-year study program in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the Faculty of Economics at Saitama University. As part of the exchange program, he also spent one semester at the best Chinese technical university, Tsinghua.
He obtained his Master's degree, also as a scholarship recipient, in France at HEC Paris, which is the number one school in Europe for finance, according to the Financial Times.

Having completed his education, he worked in Tokyo and Singapore, in the global banking corporations Citi Bank and Goldman Sachs, after which he was a partner at a Venture Capital Fund in Singapore.

He returned to Montenegro in 2020, in order to help the country with his know-how and experience. In addition to his native language, he also speaks six world languages. Not affiliated to any party, he was a member of the advisory team of Zdravko Krivokapić, the lead candidate on the candidate list of the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" and the Prime Minister Designate. He held the position of Minister of Finance and Social Welfare from December 2020 to April 2022.
Since October 2023, he has held the position of Prime Minister of the 44th Government of Montenegro.

Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah

Chief Executive of New Economics Foundation and author of "Power to the People" (Hachette, 2024). Formerly CEO of Oxfam Great Britain; Secretary General, CIVICUS; Director, Royal Commonwealth Society; Interim Director, Commonwealth Foundation and Deputy Director, Institute for Public Policy Research (UK). Mirjam Staub-Bisang

CEO, BlackRock Asset Management Switzerland AG, Switzerland

Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang is Head of BlackRock Switzerland, member of the EMEA Executive Committee and Senior Advisor to BlackRock Sustainable Investing. She currently serves as a non-executive director of the global shoe retailer Bata as well as the leading global business school INSEAD.

Prior to BlackRock, Mirjam Staub-Bisang co-founded and was formerly Managing Partner of Independent Capital Group AG an investment management firm focusing on sustainable investing based in Zurich. She served on the investment committees of pension funds and endowments and on the board of several several public and private companies, among which as chair of Profond Sammelstiftung, one of Switzerland’s leading multi-employer pension plans. Prior to these roles she held senior positions in asset management and private equity at Commerzbank and Swiss Life, Quadrant and was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.

Mirjam Staub-Bisang holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich and an MBA from INSEAD. She authored the standard work “Sustainable Investing for Institutional Investors: Risks, Regulations, Strategies" (Wiley 2012) and co-authored the second edition of "Infrastructure as an Asset Class" (Wiley 2016). In 2009 she was elected a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Mark Stoffels

Global Business Unit Leader, Image Guided Therapy Systems, Philips, Netherlands

Mark Stoffels is a senior global health tech executive. As Global Business Unit Leader and Senior Vice-President of Royal Philips’ Image Guided Therapy Systems, he is highly driven to improve global access to healthcare. Other roles at Royal Philips include Managing Director and Senior Vice-President Connected Care North America, Vice-President and General of Latin America, Country Manager Mexico, General Manager Health Systems Mexico and Strategic Marketing Director for Latin America. Stoffels is the author of "3 Billion Heart Beats", a novel on Buddhism which principles he works tirelessly to implement in his leadership style.
