Nino Zambakhidze

Chairwoman, Georgian Farmers' Association, Georgia

Nino is the founder of L.T.D. “Georgian Business Zone” (Milk Processing Farm and Animal Food Production Farm) in the village Tsnisi, Akahltsikhe Region. In 2010 she founded “Regional Development Association” and since then have been leading execution of various rural development projects. She became a prize winner for “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” at the first annual Business-Award “Mercury 2011” and was also the first woman leader becoming an honorary coordinator of the organization “Invest for the Future” the organization functioning under the patronage of Hilary Clinton. While actively being an entrepreneur, in 2012 she founded “Georgian Farmers’ Association” where she serves as a chairwoman and an active advocate of the farmers’ rights and the key driving force for the success of the organization. She is a member of almost all key governmental or non-governmental boards and committees active in agriculture. She holds an MBA in Global Management (GGSB) & International Executive MBA (CSB) at Grenoble Graduate School of Business (France)

Andrey Zarur

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Greenlight Biosciences Inc, USA

Andrey J. Zarur is Founder and CEO of GreenLight Biosciences, a diversified biotechnology company delivering natural solutions for human health, animal health and agricultural applications. Prior to GreenLight, Dr. Zarur was the Founder and Chairman of Solid Biosciences, a gene therapy company addressing neuromuscular genetic disorders. Dr. Zarur is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lumicell Surgical. Dr. Zarur is a Senior Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He obtained undergraduate degrees from the National University of Mexico and doctoral degrees from MIT and Harvard Medical School. He is the author of dozens of peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds over one hundred issued and pending patents.

Michelle Zatlyn

Co-Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer, Cloudflare, USA

Michelle Zatlyn is co-founder, President, and COO of Cloudflare, the Internet security, performance, and
reliability company on a mission to help build a better Internet. Cloudflare is a publicly traded company
on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: NET). Prior to co-founding Cloudflare, Michelle held positions at
Google and Toshiba and launched two successful startups. Michelle currently serves on the board of
directors for Atlassian and the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders Foundation. Michelle has
been named to Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list and was part of Marie Claire’s 7th Annual New Guard. She
holds a B.S. degree, with distinction, from McGill University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School,
where she was awarded the Dubilier Prize for Entrepreneurship.

Fernando Zavala

Chief Executive Officer, Intercorp, Peru

He is currently CEO of Intercorp, a holding company for one of Peru’s largest business groups. Focused on Peru’s growing middle class. Intercorp’s businesses are mainly focused on four sectors: financial services; retail (including shopping malls), education and health.
Also, he is Vice President of the Private Council of Competitiveness, Think Tank promoted by IPAE to propose public policies.

In the Public sector he has been Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Peru in two occasions.
In the private sector, he has served as CEO in both, Peru and Panama for the multinational SABmiller. He has also been a member of the Board of several companies in Peru, as well as business associations and NGOs.

Economist at the Universidad del Pacifico, with a master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Piura and with a MBA from the University of Birmingham in United Kingdom.

Almira Zejnilagic

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Member of the Executive Committee, EQONEX Group, Singapore

Almira is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for EQONEX with responsibility for leading the company’s business transformation strategy to leverage the synergies and maximize business opportunities created through its partnership with Bifinity.

In her previous role, Almira served as Special Projects Lead for Bifinity where she was responsible for process improvements, project coordination and the development of new strategic partnerships. Before joining Bifinity, Almira was a Partner and Practice Lead at FTI Consulting with responsibility for the Global Risk and Investigations Practice in Europe and Africa. While at FTI Consulting Almira, where she spent a decade, she advised on high value technology transactions, and helped investors and corporates navigate existential and transformational challenges. Almira is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.

Niklas Zennström

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Atomico, United Kingdom

Dual degrees in Business and MSc Engineering Physics/Computer Science, Uppsala University, Sweden; final year of university at the University of Michigan. Experienced entrepreneur. Co-founded and managed globally successful technology companies including Skype, Kazaa, Joost and Joltid. From inception until Sept. 2007, Chief Executive Officer, Skype, which was sold to eBay for $3.1bn in 2005, the largest European venture capital exit to date. Subsequently, Skype was bought back by a consortium that included Niklas and was sold to Microsoft for $8.5 billion cash in 2011. Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner, Atomico, created in 2006 to help entrepreneurs primarily outside Silicon Valley scale their businesses domestically and globally. It has so far invested in more than 50 companies on four continents. Works closely with a number of leaders of portfolio companies so that they benefit from own experience as an entrepreneur.

Founding and Managing Partner, Fusion Fund. World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (2018). Recipient of honours and awards, including: Honouree in VC, Forbes 30 Under 30, Silicon Valley Women of Influence 2018, Town & Country 50 Modern Swans – Entrepreneurship Influencer, and Top 10 All America Chinese Youth. Formerly: Venture Partner, Fenox Venture Capital; Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a medical device company focused on non-invasive technology for the early diagnosis of Type II diabetes (acquired in 2012). Speaker at tech events and conferences and also serves as a mentor and adviser to several tech innovation programmes in Silicon Valley. Member of the Board: Youth Council of Future Forum and Future Science Award. MSc in Materials Science and Engineering, Stanford University.

Research interests include battles for control of digital property and content, cryptography, cybersecurity and privacy, the roles of intermediaries within internet architecture, human computing, artificial intelligence, and the useful and unobtrusive deployment of technology in education.

Ali Zuashkiani

Chief Executive Officer, Physical Asset Management Corporation, Islamic Republic of Iran

Ali Zuashkiani is Chief Executive Officer of the Physical Asset Management Corporation, a consulting company dedicated to improving asset management practices globally, with a focus on the Middle East and Iran. As a global subject matter expert in this field, he is a frequent speaker at international events on topics related to physical asset management, maintenance and reliability. Zuashkiani is also Director of Educational Programs at the University of Toronto Centre for Asset Management. In 2003, he co-founded Knowledge Diffusion Network, an organization that aims to promote collaboration between Iranian academics living abroad with the scientific community in Iran. Later, he became Co-Founder and President of International Association of Iranian Managers, which aims to improve management knowledge and practices in Iran and the Middle East. He was recognized by the President of Iran as the most distinguished student of Iran in 1999.

Alix Zwane

Chief Executive Officer, Global Innovation Fund, USA

Chief Executive Officer, Global Innovation Fund, a hybrid investment vehicle that makes debt, equity, and grant investments to accelerate evidence-based innovation that improves the lives of poor people. Some 20 years of experience advancing the agenda of evidence-based aid and international development as investor, social entrepreneur and innovator. Has worked at the intersection of the evidence and innovation agendas. The first employee and Executive Director at Evidence Action, a non-profit that develops service delivery models to scale evidence-based programmes; catalysed school-based deworming for hundreds of millions of children around the world and safe drinking water for millions of people in four countries. Launched Evidence Action Beta, an incubator for innovations in development. Has also advocated for evidence-based philanthropy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Google.org, Began career in management consulting and was a member of the faculty of the Agricultural and Resource Economics Department at University of California, Berkeley. Has published in Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and elsewhere.
