With over 200 satellites in orbit, Planet operates the largest Earth imaging constellation in history, imaging the whole Earth land mass daily to enable both commercial and humanitarian applications. There are a wide range of humanitarian applications such as tracking deforestation, improving precision agriculture, water security, natural disaster relief efforts; as well as commercial applications such as consumer mapping, commodities tracking and news.

Kevin J. Martin

Vice-President, Mobile and Global Access Policy, Meta, USA

Kevin Martin is the Vice-President for Mobile and Global Access Policy at Facebook, where he oversees, among others, Facebook's free access program Previously, he served as Chairman (2005-2009) and Commissioner (2001-2005) of the Federal Communications Commission. During his tenure, the FCC adopted a non-binding policy statement on net neutrality which led to the 2010 Open Internet Order. After leaving the FCC he joined the Aspen Institute as a Senior Fellow at the think tank's Communications and Society Program, and later the law firm Squire Patton Boggs LLP as a Partner. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.P.P. from Duke University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Susan Mashibe

Susan Mashibe is Founder, Owner and Executive Director of VIA Aviation, formerly known as Tanzanite Jet Centre (TanJet). An avid aviator and entrepreneur, she built her business to serve private aviation needs in three countries across the African continent. Mashibe became the first female FAA-certified commercial pilot and aircraft maintenance engineer in Tanzania. She the Africa Regional Lead for the National Business Aviation Association. Mashibe holds a degree from Western Michigan University.

Shaffi is the founder Chairman of MUrgency Inc. based in Dover, DE, USA, a holding company for multiple businesses playing the role of the idea generator, incubator, accelerator, growth hacker, organization builder and corporate office for various businesses in Business Incubation / Acceleration, Airport Assistance Services, Quaternary Medical Care, Reproductive & Fertility Medicine, E Commerce and Fin Tech.

Shaffi is an alumnus of Harvard University, London School of Economics & Political Science, University of Pittsburgh, University of Bridgeport, Cochin University School of Law and Mahatma Gandhi University. Shaffi is presently a doctoral student at the School of Business, IE University, Spain.

Nami Matsuko

Ms. Matsuko is Head of Engagement, Sustainability Office at OMRON Corporation headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. OMRON is a manufacturer of market-leading products using sensing and control technology with AI for the betterment of industry and society, and currently focuses on factory automation, social automation and healthcare domains.
Prior to that, Nami was appointed to lead Corporate Citizenship team to promote CSR activities of the group as Managing Director at Nomura Holdings, Inc., the largest investment bank in Japan and produced the first Integrated Report in financial industry in Japan, before supporting global team to engage with overseas public and private asset owners at Nomura Asset Management.
As an investment banker at Nomura Securities Co., she was engaged in financial advices to Japanese companies (corporate governance, re-organization of group management, Takeovers, IR etc.) and in policy recommendation related to capital market (corporate related laws and regulations, tax).
She holds a BA in International Law from Sophia University in Tokyo, LL.M from Georgetown Law Centre and New York University School of Law in US. Loves to play the violin in the orchestra and create IKEBANA (Japanese traditional style flower arrangement). Member of the New York Bar Association.

Shoukei Matsumoto

Founder, Buddhist Monk, Interbeing, Japan

Shoukei MATSUMOTO is a Contemporary Buddhist. Born in 1979 in Japan, he graduated with B.A. degree in Literature from the University of Tokyo. He completed MBA from Indian School of Business as an Ambassadorial Scholar of Rotary Foundation in 2011. After MBA, he started a project of Temple Management School for Buddhist priests and monks. In 2013, he was nominated as a member of Young Global Leaders from World Economic Forum. He has published five titles and "A Monk's Guide to a Clean House and Mind” was translated into more than seventeen languages. He has translated "The Good Ancestor: How to Think Long Term in a Short-Term World" written by Roman Krznaric into Japanese.

Billy Mawasha

Chief Executive Officer, Kolobe Nala Investments, South Africa

Billy Mawasha has been CEO of Kolobe Nala Investment Company (KNI) since April 2019.

Prior to KNI, Billy was Country Head - South Africa for Rio Tinto and Managing Director of Richard Bay Minerals. He previously held leadership, operational and technical roles at Anglo American (Kumba Iron Ore), the De Beers Group and AngloGold Ashanti. His career has given him deep exposure to mining operations and projects across the Africa continent.

Billy is a Certified Director (IoDSA) and a Non-Executive Director of JSE listed Exxaro Resources, Metair Investments and Murray and Roberts Holdings. In addition, Billy serves on the boards of KNI portfolio companies including Prieska Copper Zinc Mine, a subsidiary of Orion Minerals Ltd (ORN:SJ/AU) and Kgatelopele Lime, a joint venture company that acquired PPC Lime in 2021.

In 2017, Billy was selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) of the World Economic Forum, and in March 2020, he joined the YGLs Advisory Group.

Billy graduated with an Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and has completed executive development programmes at Harvard Kennedy School, Kellogg School of Management, London Business School and GIBS in South Africa.

Marissa Mayer

Formerly: with UBS Research Lab, Zurich, Switzerland; SRI International; 13 years at Google in numerous positions, including as engineer, designer, product manager and executive, and launched more than 100 well-known features and products; played an instrumental role in Google Search, leading the product management effort for more than 10 years; latterly, Vice-President, Local, Maps and Location Services, Google. July 2012, joined Yahoo! as President and Chief Executive Officer. Member of the Board of Directors, Wal-Mart. Member of the Board of various non-profits, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Ballet and the New York City Ballet.

Mariame McIntosh Robinson

President and Chief Executive Officer, First Global Bank Ltd, Jamaica

Mariame McIntosh Robinson joined First Global Bank in Jamaica as President & CEO in 2016 to lead the Bank's transformation and strategic pursuit of Financial Inclusion. Prior to this, Mariame was a private equity investor for 7 years where she was a Partner at Portland Private Equity, the largest private equity fund management company focused on the Caribbean region which successfully raised two US$200M+ Funds. Mariame also worked as a Strategy Consultant for 8 years with McKinsey & Company, Atlanta office and Bain & Company New York office where she was a Manager prior to joining Portland. Mariame currently serves as a Trustee on United Way Worldwide Board and several private and public Boards in Jamaica and Barbados. She is also a Vice-President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica with responsibility for the Human Capital Development and Energy & Climate Change portfolios, and is a dynamic public speaker. Mariame is the Board Chair of TEACH Caribbean, an educational NGO she co-founded with other Jamaican Rhodes Scholars in 2006 with seed financing from the Rhodes Trust to provide access to quality education for economically disadvantaged youth. Mariame has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from MIT, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University where she attended as a Rhodes Scholar. She is married and has two children.
