Hafsat Abiola-Costello is the President/CEO of Women in Africa Initiative, a platform connecting leading and high potential women in Africa to facilitate their increased individual success and collective impact. A leader in Nigeria's pro-democracy movement, she served as a member of state cabinet in Nigeria industrial state from 2011-2019. She is also the Founder and President of the Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND), an NGO that promotes the development of women as initiators of change by offering leadership training and raising awareness about harmful social issues such as violence against women. A prolific writer and speaker, Abiola-Costello holds an A.B. (Hons) in Economics from Harvard University and a Master's in International Development from Tsinghua University. Rafat is a thought leader and practitioner passionate about addressing political and economic challenges in situations of fragility and conflict. He has over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors in Yemen and internationally, including in senior government positions. Since 2016, Rafat has been a fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford where he has led the school’s multiple initiatives in the field of state fragility including the LSE-Oxford Commission on State Fragility, the Council on State Fragility, and the DFI Fragility Forum. He has previously served as Minister of Youth and Sports in the Government of Yemen, and prior to that was leading the Policy Reforms team at the Executive Bureau for Acceleration of Aid Absorption and Support for Policy Reforms.

Rafat has successfully led multiple large-scale social and economic research studies in Yemen, and is an advisor to Yemeni and international stakeholders on political, peace building, and economic issues in Yemen. He previously held senior positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM in Canada.

Rafat earned his second Master degree in Public Policy (MPP) at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, UK. His first Master degree was in Business Administration (MBA) from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) Montréal, Canada.

Alberto is the Jean Monnet Professor of Law & Public Policy at HEC Paris, and permanent visiting professor at Tokyo University School of Public Policy and the College of Europe, Bruges. Due to his commitment to bridge the gap between academic research and policy action, he is the founder of The Good Lobby, the leading advocacy movement democratizing lobbying as a legitimate, healthy practice of democratic life capable of equalizing access to power.

Originally from Italy, Alemanno is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the College of Europe. He holds a PhD in International Law and Economics from Bocconi University. Prior to entering academia fully time, he clerked at the Court of Justice of the European Union, worked as a Teaching Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges and qualified as an attorney at law in New York.

Poppy is currently Head of ESG Enablement for T. Rowe Price, a leading global asset manager. She is responsible for the Company's ESG strategy and its execution.

Previously Poppy spent 21 years as a senior executive at BlackRock where she held a number of roles. Most recently she was head of the Global Product Group in EMEA & APAC. As such she is responsible for driving product strategy, pricing, product development & structuring and ongoing oversight of Blackrock's investment products across all asset classes. Previously, Ms Allonby was a portfolio manager and member of BlackRock's Natural Resources Team where she was responsible for multi billion dollar global Energy investment funds. She managed investments in both the oil & gas sector and in businesses that are facilitating and benefiting from the transition to a lower carbon economy (for example: clean tech, renewable power, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility). At BlackRock, Poppy was a member of several senior leadership committees: the EMEA & APAC Executive Committees, Enterprise Risk Committee, Global Human Capital Committee and Product Development Committee (Chair).

Poppy has previously served as the Vice Chair of EFAMA's Fund Regulation, Asset Protection and Service Providers Standing Committee and as a Commissioner on the Energy Transitions Committee.

She currently sits on the Board and Assets Committee for the Church Commissioners, one of the world's largest charitable endowments and a global leader in responsible investments. Razan Al Mubarak is a United Arab Emirates native who for more than twenty years has played a vital role in guiding her country toward a more sustainable future while spearheading progressive environmental protection and species conservation across West Asia and globally. Her diverse experience leading the largest environmental regulatory agency in the Middle East, an international philanthropic organization supporting species conservation projects worldwide, and an NGO focused on citizen engagement earned her recognition as one of the top 100 Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum in 2018.
When she was appointed managing director of the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) in 2010, Razan became the youngest person to lead an Abu Dhabi government entity and one of the only women to hold such a position. Under her guidance and leadership, the government agreed to double its protected wildlife areas and adopt the region’s first carbon targets: a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 42 percent by 2030. She has also overseen one of the world’s most ambitious mammalian species reintroduction programs: the breeding of captive Scimitar-horned oryx in Abu Dhabi and reintroducing them back into the wild in Chad, thus seeing a species that is listed as Extinct in the Wild now increase its numbers in its natural habitat. Under her guidance, the EAD has established global partnerships like the Eye on Earth environmental data initiative, convened four meetings of IUCN Species Survival Commission since 2008, and hosted one of the Convention on Migratory Species’ two offices.
Razan is also the founding director of the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund, helping to build the organization into one of the world’s largest philanthropic foundations supporting direct species conservation. Since its inception the Fund has supported more than 2,000 species conservation projects in over 160 countries, bringing many species back from the brink of extinction.
She began her career in conservation in 2001 when she helped establish Emirates Nature, an NGO associated with the World Wildlife Fund. As its managing director, she has spearheaded initiatives to protect the UAE’s coral, conducted field surveys that led to the establishment of the country’s first mountain national park, and created the framework and culture to protect nesting and migrating sea turtles.
Within the UAE, Razan chairs the board of directors for the International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture and is a board member for numerous environmental influencers and stakeholders, including Masdar, a renewable energy company based in Abu Dhabi. Internationally, she is an advisory board member of the Rockefeller Foundation Economic Council on Planetary Health, the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, and the Emirates Diplomatic Academy, and is a board member of Panthera and the Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy Initiative (WiSER). A keen supporter of the arts, cultural preservation, and development, she serves as a member of the Board of Advisors to the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation.
Razan holds an MSc in Public Understanding of Environmental Change from the University College London, UK, where her thesis analysed traditional laws of the sea in the UAE region, and a BA (Hons) in Environmental Studies and International Relations from Tufts University, Massachusetts, USA.

Kalin Anev Janse is the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board of the ESM and EFSF. He is in charge of the Funding and Investor Relations division responsible for €300 billion of outstanding debt and the Investment and Treasury division investing the €80 billion ESM capital. Additionally, he is in charge of ALM & Lending overseeing the ESM and EFSF balance sheet, and IT & Operations running technology and facilities of the institution.

Before taking on the CFO position, he was the Secretary General responsible for amongst others Corporate Governance, Shareholder relations, HR and Finance & Control. He previously worked in strategy at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, corporate finance advisory at McKinsey & Company in the Netherlands and investment banking at JPMorgan in London.
