Tamás Landesz

Director, Administration and Finance, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), France

Dr Tamás Landesz is Director, Administration and Finance at the World Health Organization, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) based in Lyon. Prior, Landesz held senior management functions in international organizations and advised governments, including the Office of the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, European Defence Agency, and United Nations system organizations. He has been posted in complex post-conflict hot spots across four continents. Landesz started his career as a management consultant, providing strategic advise to companies expanding to Eastern Europe, during the transition from centrally planned to market economies. He is a Member of Prof. Michael Porter`s Harvard Business School network, lecturing on the microeconomics of competitiveness. Landesz holds a PhD from Paris, an MPA from Harvard University, an MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and an MBA from Vienna. His research interest focuses on the future of leadership, and his PhD dissertation dealt with Authentic Leadership and Machiavellianism in Young Global Leaders.

Avid Larizadeh Duggan

Non-Executive Director, Barclays, United Kingdom

Avid is a Non Executive Director on the board of Barclays UK.

Until December 2019, Avid was the COO of Kobalt Music Group, the leading music and technology company built for artists, songwriters, publishers and labels as an alternative to the traditional music business model.

Prior to Kobalt, Avid was a General Partner at GV and co-founded Boticca, a global marketplace for independent brands of fashion accessories (acquired by Wolf & Badger in 2015).

Avid has been involved in the startup ecosystem as a developer, product manager, founder, investor, and adviser since 1998. Avid started investing at Accel Partners in London in 2006, where she focused on software and Internet investments. She has been an active early investor in multiple companies, including as an angel investor in Okta (Nasdaq: OKTA). Avid also held product management roles at Tellme Networks, eBay, and Skype, and began programming in college. While at eBay, Avid was granted a patent for her work on a suite of selling tools.

Avid serves on the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board. She also led Code.org and the Hour of Code in the UK getting over 22 million people to try an hour of code. In 2019, she was appointed Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for services to the economy, business and education.

Avid earned her B.S. and M.S. in engineering at Stanford University, where she was a Mayfield Fellow. She also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Kauffman Fellow. She speaks French, English, Farsi, and German.

Tristan Lecomte

Chief Executive Officer, Pur Projet, France

Tristan Lecomte is the Founder of Pur Projet, specialized in developing agroforestry insetting projects including offsetting the socio-environmental footprint of a product or company within its own supply chain and core business via agroforestry and agro-ecological practices. Tristan is the author of various books and the director of several films on sustainability. Tristan is also the Co-Founder of the International Platform for Insetting, a multi-stakeholders platform of companies and NGOs engaged in the promotion of Insetting via a certification standard and a blockchain registry.

Guillaume Lefevre

Managing Director, New Ventures and Business Development, Zurich Insurance Group, Switzerland

Guillaume has more than 15 years in the insurance industry, supporting clients around the world and working across different areas of the value chain: Insurance, Broking: Retail, Wholesale and Reinsurance. He has joined Zurich in 2018 to help shape its profound transformation as a customer centric and digitally integrated organization and is now responsible for our Commercial Insurance Distribution & Customers out of Milan Italy.

Moritz Lehmkuhl

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, ClimatePartner GmbH, Germany

Moritz Lehmkuhl is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ClimatePartner, an international consulting and service company in the voluntary climate protection market. Founded in 2006, the vision behind ClimatePartner is to change industries by integrating climate protection and sustainability into their core services and products and thereby make it a unique added value. ClimatePartner has today offices in 12 countries and a wonderful team of more than 650 people support the vision.

Olivia Leland

Founder and Chief Executive, Co-Impact, United Kingdom

Olivia Leland brings more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy, government, and the nonprofit sector to her role as founder and CEO of Co-Impact. Co-Impact brings together philanthropists, foundations and other funders to support systems change efforts in low- and middle-income countries around the world, in the areas of education, health, and economic opportunity, and with a particular focus on gender equity and inclusion. Olivia worked with Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett as the founding director of the Giving Pledge, an effort to help address society's most pressing problems by encouraging philanthropy globally. In this role, she was responsible for building out the concept from inception, as well as overseeing the strategy and implementation for this effort which now has more than 200 families committed from around the world. Previously, she led a cross-foundation strategy effort at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and served as associate director for financial and private sector development at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. She has consulted on microfinance and private sector development, and was a strategy consultant at Monitor Group where she focused on branding, market research and venture philanthropy. She sits on the board of the Full Frame Initiative, a nonprofit organization that works to break cycles of poverty and violence through systems change. In 2014 Olivia was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Olivia received her AB in Social Studies from Harvard University and MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She lives with her husband and three children in London, UK, and holds dual US/French nationality.

Catherine Lenson

Investor | Board Director | Executive Coach, United Kingdom

Catherine is an investor, board director and executive coach. She is based in London and works globally.

She is an experienced international C-suite executive with a strong track record in the People, DE&I and ESG fields.

She invests in exceptional early-stage tech companies across the UK, US and Israel, and brings in-depth previous board experience as both an executive and non-executive director.

She writes and speaks on topics including the future of work, corporate culture and purpose, diversity and inclusion, and work/life integration.

As part of her coaching practice, she is the first UK-based facilitator to be certified in the Fair Play method.

Tim Levene

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Augmentum Fintech PLC, United Kingdom

Studied Russian, University of Manchester. Formerly with Bain & Company, Moscow, Boston, Sydney and London. An experienced entrepreneur, Tim co- founded juice bar business Crussh and being a founding employee of Flutter.com, the latter of which became one of the highest profile digital businesses in the UK after it merged with Betfair.com in 2001 Tim is CEO and Founder of the UK’s only publicly listed, fintech-focused investment company Augmentum Fintech. After launching the first iteration of the fund in 2010 with the backing of RIT and Lord Rothschild, Tim and Co-Founder Richard Matthews launched Augmentum Fintech plc on the main market of the London Stock Exchange in 2018.
Tim has sat and currently sits on multiple fintech boards including Interactive Investor, Tide, Zopa, Farewill, iwoca and Monese and is highly active in cross-industry initiatives working to boost the UK fintech sector, including the UK FinTech Strategy Group. In 2022, Tim was elected in the City of London as an Alderman in the Ward of Bridge.

Mariah Levin

Former Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, Switzerland

Mariah is the Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, an independent foundation of the World Economic Forum. For over a decade, she has contributed to generating positive impact at the nexus of public and private sectors. Her professional and academic expertise spans strategy consulting, program and partnerships management, and mobilizing multistakeholder action in socially-motivated initiatives.

Katrin Ley

Managing Director, Fashion for Good, Netherlands

Katrin Ley joined Fashion for Good as its Managing Director in July 2017 and brings over 20 years of management experience in the apparel and impact investing sector.
She joined Fashion for Good from Pymwymic, the ‘Put your Money Where Your Meaning Is Community’ of European wealth holders who invest for impact. Under her leadership as Managing Partner, Pymwymic launched, the first-ever peer-to-peer impact holding company, welcoming mission-aligned families and individual investors as shareholders. Prior to this role, Katrin was Managing Director within the adidas Group (U.S. and Netherlands) and a Principal within the Boston Consulting Group (Germany and Scandinavia) – with a focus on private equity, consumer goods and technology. Katrin was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and is also the founding curator of the Amsterdam Global Shapers Hub. Katrin holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, ESCP in Paris and studied at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Torsten Lichtenau

Torsten Lichtenau is a partner based in our London office. He leads our Carbon Transition Impact Area globally and is a core member of our global Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility, Energy and Natural Resources, and Advanced Manufacturing and Services practices.

Torsten supports clients across industries and geographies in decarbonizing their business and embracing the value creation opportunity from the energy and carbon transition. Prior to this, Torsten led our Energy and Natural Resources and Advanced Manufacturing and Services practices in the UK.

Torsten has more than fifteen years' consulting experience with us across a wide range of industries, with a focus on the energy and industrial sectors. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated extensive experience in leading large-scale transformations with a track record of delivering decisive and sustainable results for his clients. Torsten has a particular expertise in climate change and Results Delivery, our differentiated approach to change management.

Since joining us in 2004, Torsten has applied his management consulting skills globally and has been based in the firm's London, Dusseldorf and Johannesburg offices. He has advised leading companies in the United Kingdom, Western Europe, the United States, Africa and Russia.

Torsten is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader from the class of 2016. He holds an MBA (Diplom-Kaufmann degree) from the University of the Saarland and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from WHU Koblenz. Throughout the years, he has also deepened his leadership and sustainability skills through executive courses at Oxford and Stanford..
