Caroline Malcolm

Vice-President, Global Public Policy, Chainalysis, United Kingdom

Caroline leads the public policy team at Chainalysis, drawing on their unique data analytics and tools to work with clients from the public and private sectors to understand developments in digital asset markets and their intersect with global regulatory trends and requirements.

Caroline was previously the founding Head of the OECD's Global Blockchain Policy Centre, from 2018 to 2021, working on a diverse range of blockchain-related policy issues, such as fintech, competition policy, data governance, and supply chain transparency. In 2019, she co-led the Financial Stability Board’s workstream on decentralised fintech, and also established the OECD’s Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board, bringing together more than 100 experts from across the world in government, industry, academia and civil society. In 2020, Caroline was named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum, and was a judge in the G20 techsprint hackathon. In 2022, she was a finalist in the Global Australian Awards.

Caroline's career began as a lawyer to the Australian government before she joined the OECD in 2010, to work on international tax transparency issues. She went on to set up the OECD-UNDP Tax Inspectors Without Borders initiative and then became the advisor to the OECD’s Head of Tax during the OECD/G20 BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) Project. During this time, Caroline became more interested in the impact of emerging technologies on policy frameworks and began the first global study of the tax treatment of digital assets.

Ritesh Malik

Founder, Innov8 Coworking, India

Ritesh Malik is a medical doctor-turned entrepreneur, angel investor, speaker and philanthropist. He founded Innov8 Coworking in 2015 and scaled the business to over 42 locations pre-COVID. After selling Innov8 to OYO, he now focuses on his philanthropic goals in education, cybersecurity, startup policy regulations, village empowerment and healthcare. He is passionate about supporting early-stage technology companies and has backed over 70 startups in the past six years. He has also been working on the management of COVID-19 in India, leading the vaccination drive for his family-run hospital, Radix Healthcare. Malik is involved in multiple philanthropic initiatives, including as the seed donor and founding team of a 50-acre technology university in Mohali, called Plaksha. He is also the founder, director and executive council member of the not-for-profit initiative ADIF.

Esha Mansingh

Head, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, sub-Saharan Africa, DP World, South Africa

Esha Mansingh serves as the Executive Head of Corporate Affairs and sustainability for sub-Saharan Africa at DP World, where she is responsible for corporate affairs, sustainability, regional partnerships and sponsorships, communications and stakeholder relations. She is the Former Executive Vice President: Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations at JSE listed Imperial Logistics. Esha is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, class of 2022, and she is also a member of Harvard Kennedy School’s Women Leadership Board. Esha is a seasoned board member, serving as a member of NBI, Unjani Clinics, Imperial & Motus Community Trust and World Economic Forum’s New Champions South Africa Boards. She has over 14 years leadership experience in investor relations, corporate affairs, communications and sustainability.

Esha has been recognised globally for her work in women empowerment, women in business and social impact, having been recognised among 100 Most Successful Women in Business in the World 2021 by GTC, a Top 50 Power of Women 2021 by Mail and Guardian, Positive Role Model for Listed Companies in Southern Africa by Accenture Gender Mainstreaming Awards 2021 among others.

Temi Marcella

Founding Partner, Alcent Capital, Nigeria

Temi Marcella, a distinguished investment professional, has strategically committed almost $1 billion in capital globally. As the inaugural Executive Director and Board Member of Evercare Hospital in Nigeria, a pivotal player in transforming the country’s healthcare system, she pioneered its development. Leading the region for the $1 billion Evercare Health Fund managed by TPG Capital, Marcella was instrumental in scaling Evercare from inception to a global platform, earning recognition as one of the top 50 leaders set to "define the world of tomorrow". Her achievements include being honoured by successive presidential administrations, to serve on the Presidential Transition & Health Sector Reform Committees, underscoring her significant contributions to the investment landscape and healthcare transformation on the continent. Marcella is a Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle Fellow, Kauffman Venture Capital Fellow, Tutu Fellow, World Economic Forum Global Shaper alumna and a Goldman Sachs Global Leader. She serves on international boards including Save the Children and the Equality Fund.

Gabriel Marcolongo

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Incluyeme.com, Argentina

Motivated by his visually impaired father, Gabriel left his successful corporate career to addressing employment biases against 85 million disabled people in Latin America. He founded Incluyeme.com, a certified B Corporation with more than 230,000 registered users and 600 companies as clients, including Accenture, IBM, Walmart, Disney, McKinsey, and PWC. Through his work, +3500 people with disabilities found a job.
Gabriel also serves on the board of several NGOs and is a consultant on employment policies for people with disabilities with Development Agencies in Latin America.
Gabriel is a passionate traveler who visited +80 countries on all continents. Gabriel also crossed the Andes mountains running 120km in a 3-day ultramarathon.

Sanna Marin

Strategic Counselor, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, United Kingdom

The first in her family to attend university, Sanna Marin became the youngest Prime Minister in Finnish history and the world’s youngest female state leader. She has encouraged new approaches to the future of work, social services and gender equity in her country and the world.

Vukosi Marivate

Chair of Data Science; Associate Professor of Computer Science, University of Pretoria, South Africa

Prof Vukosi Marivate is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and holds the ABSA UP Chair of Data Science at the University of Pretoria. He specialises in developing Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods to extract insights from data, with a particular focus on the intersection of ML/AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP). His research is dedicated to improving the methods, tools and availability of data for local or low-resource languages. As the leader of the Data Science for Social Impact research group (https://dsfsi.github.io/) in the Computer Science department, Vukosi is interested in using data science to solve social challenges. He has worked on projects related to science, energy, public safety, and utilities, among others. Prof Marivate is a co-founder and CTO of the Lelapa AI (https://lelapa.ai/), an African startup focused on AI for Africans by Africans. Vukosi is a chief investigator on the Masakhane NLP project (https://www.masakhane.io/), which aims to develop NLP technologies for African languages. Vukosi is also a co-founder of the Deep Learning Indaba, the leading grassroots Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence conference on the African continent that aims to empower and support African researchers and practitioners in the field.

Leland Maschmeyer

Managing Director, Kelmhurst, USA

Leland Maschmeyer is an internationally recognized systems designer and entrepreneur focused on social impact at scale. He has worked on climate change initiatives that have influenced US. Federal policy and driven participation in solving the clean water crisis. He is Chief Creative Officer of Chobani, a multi-billion dollar food-focused wellness company that uses food as a force of good in solving some of society's most pressing issues.

Juan Pablo Mata

Chief Executive Officer, Grupo Mariposa, Guatemala

Juan Pablo Mata is an experienced leader with extensive experience in the food & beverages industry. Skilled in market planning, business planning, entrepreneurship, market analysis, and team leadership. Juan Pablo studied finance & economics at Babson College where he graduated in 2008. In 2015, he completed a MBA at the Wharton School of business in the University of Pennsylvania focused in strategic management. Juan Pablo holds an Executive General Management Program from Harvard University. In 2020 he was appointed CEO of Apex Global Mobility where he leads the corporate units including the total societal impact agenda where he is leading the circular economy and social fabric strategy for the group.

H.R.H. Prince Mateen of Brunei Darussalam

Prince, The State of Brunei, Brunei Darussalam

He is the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and a Major of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. He accompanies his father to numerous events, such as during the US-ASEAN special summit.

Luiza Mattos

Partner; Head of Healthcare South America, Bain & Company, Brazil

Luiza is a Partner with Bain & Company in São Paulo. As the Leader of the Healthcare practice in South America, she is passionate about developing strategies to deliver quality healthcare solutions under rationalized costs, being a catalyst for a more sustainable system. She has deep expertise in payers, primary care and hospital providers, as well as healthcare ecosystems, authoring points-of-view on how to advance the Brazilian healthcare system. She supports clients to develop deep understanding of their customer’s journeys, in order to deliver unique customer experiences, based on omnichannel approaches, state-of-the art technology and robust metrics. She is an enthusiast of transformations using Agile and Human-Centric co-creation approaches, as Design Thinking. As Womxn @ Bain Champion in South America, she dedicates time to promoting gender parity and developing young female leadership, within Bain as well as in the corporate world, by building studies on how to promote more women in leadership positions. Luiza holds a Master in Management focused on Information Businesses (Coppead Management School, Brazi), and a MBA with major in Finance, Operations and Marketing (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA). She graduated in Electronic & Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Eva McLellan

Co-Founder and Co-Chair, UNLOCKING EVE Foundation, Switzerland

Eva McLellan is a purpose-driven transformational leader with nearly 20 years of global business leadership and management experience in biotechnology. Recognized as a forward-thinking strategist, she has dedicated her career to driving positive change in healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes. Having held senior global strategy and country leadership roles in Canada, Switzerland and BeLux, McLellan has also led significant strategic projects in emerging markets. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a proven ability to build and lead teams that foster innovation, reshaping access to and the delivery of care in diverse areas such as early pipeline, infectious disease, oncology, haematology, rare diseases and digital health. As General Manager of Roche Pharma, McLellan’s external focus is on forging strong partnerships and scaling innovative approaches to shape health systems, enhance care and ensure equitable, sustainable access to innovation. In addition to her executive role, she actively contributes to the strategic direction of the industry, serving on the boards of the Bled Institute for Leadership in Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (as Co-Chair), and the American Chamber of Commerce (as a member). Her commitment to advancing women in healthcare is evident from her past role as a regional council board member of the Healthcare Business Women's Association (HBA) in Europe in 2019. In 2021, McLellan co-founded Unlocking Eve, a global foundation in collaboration with Kaye Vitug. The foundation's mission is to unlock 100 million integrated leaders and foster a community of action (thinker-doers) to drive meaningful progress on Sustainable Development Goals #3 and #5. This initiative also involves pioneering research on new leadership models essential for achieving these goals. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of INSEAD Business School’s Executive Management Program.
