Shireen Shelleh

Partner and Managing Director, Center for Engineering and Planning, Palestinian Territories

Shireen is CEO of the Center for Engineering and Planning (CEP), a leading Palestinian engineering firm that’s based in Ramallah, Palestine. Under Shireen’s leadership, CEP has grown to have operations in Canada, UAE, Iraq, Libya, and Jordan. Shireen leads technical teams of national and international experts in spatial, strategic planning, and infrastructure development for urban and rural communities.

Shireen is also co-founder and board chairwoman of Shelleh Medical and Pharmaceutical Supplies. And although company recently established in 2017 that’s also based in Palestine, yet has already become the sole regional supplier of world renowned health products and medical supplies.

Shireen has been appointed on 2022 by Singapore Government as their honorary head of Singapore representative office in Palestine.

Shireen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University in Palestine, and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA. Shireen has been selected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader of the Year 2016 (YGL). She is a board member of the Palestinian Business Women Forum (BWF), and a member of several other social and technical organizations.

Shen Peng

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Shuidi Company, People's Republic of China

In 2016, Shen Peng founded Waterdrop, a leading technology platform dedicated to insurance and healthcare service with a positive social impact. He pioneered the business model of "Medical fundraising + Health insurance + Healthcare Services", helping 2.4 million families to raise 48 billion RMB medical funding, and providing high-quality and inclusive insurance services to 110 million users. Waterdrop Company is successively winner of "Advanced Company in Covid 19 Response" by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and "Advanced Organization of Beijing Poverty Alleviation Cooperation" by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Beijing Municipal People's Government.

He’s a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience and expertise in the technology and internet sectors in China. Prior, he co-founded Meituan Waimai and served as business head of it. Listed on “2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia”, “2021 Fortune 40 Under 40 China”. Winner of “40 people in 40 years for China's insurance “Special tribute Award. Winner of “Advanced individual in Covid 19 response”by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Democratic National Construction Committee. Winner of “Advanced individual in Poverty Alleviation” by the Democratic National Construction Association. Winner of “ACES 2021 Young Entrepreneur of the Year”. Yichen Shen

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Lightelligence, People's Republic of China

Shen Yichen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lightelligence, the world's first and leading optical computing company. Before founding Lightelligence, he was a scientist and engineer by training. He received his PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BSc in in Mathematics and Physics from Johns Hopkins University. During his doctoral period, he filed 10 US patents and published more than 35 peer-reviewed journal papers in Science, Nature Photonics, ICML and other top journals. In 2017, Yichen published a cover article on Nature Photonics, which for the first time proposed a theory to use light to perform AI algorithms. With this breakthrough, he was included on MIT Technology Review’s list of 35 Technology Innovators Under 35.

Ameer Sherif

Founder and Chairman, Wuzzuf, Egypt

Ameer is a Partner with Khwarizmi Ventures, a $70m early stage VC fund investing across the MENA region.

Ameer is also the Co-founder and Chairman of BasharSoft, the company behind WUZZUF and FORASNA.com - Egypt's leading online employment platforms for white-collar professionals and blue-collar workers respectively. Collectively, both platforms impacted the lives of 6million+ job seekers in Egypt, and helped 50,000+ companies hire more than 750,000 people over the past years.

In 2019, he was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He also sits on the board of Egytrans, a publicly listed logistics company.

In March 2021, he was selected as Board Member at ITIDA, the executive arm of the Ministry of ICT in Egypt, to help in setting strategies from for Egypt on digitisation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Ameer holds a MSc degree in Computer Engineering and BSc in Electronic and Communications both from Cairo University. He also completed executive programs on Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and business leadership executive programs at Stanford, MIT, INSEAD, and HBS.

Naif Sheshah

Assistant Deputy Governor for Planning and Development; Chief Digital Officer, Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), Saudi Arabia

Naif Sheshah, serves as the Assistant Deputy Governor for Planning and Development & Chief Digital Officer at the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), In addition to his role as the Chief Transformational Office at the Saudi Space Commission. He also has a wealth of corporate strategy experience and a reputation for developing and implementing complex technology business process solutions in demanding environments. Prior to his current role, Naif was the General Manager of Planning and Development & Acting General Manager of Postal and Logistics Services. Particular highlights of his time at the CST include spearheading the formulation of the organizational strategy for the year 2019-2023, playing a prominent role to develop the Saudi ICT sector strategy, and leading a team that was twice awarded the EFQM’s certificate of Institutional Commitment to Excellence. A strategic thinker who combines extensive corporate experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and unique academic insight, Naif’s career has crosscuts with multiple sectors such as healthcare, education, aviation, telecommunications, and petrochemicals industries, where in due time he has demonstrated a strong track record helping to steer forward-thinking businesses through periods of significant growth, change, and improvement. Naif Sheshah is a graduate of INSEAD’s Management Acceleration Program and holds a master’s degree in Business Process Management from the Queensland University of Technology, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. He sits on the board at the National Information Technology Academy, and for several years acted as ambassador for ADAA, the Kingdom’s center of excellence for performance measurement.

Igor Shevchenko

Experience: Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine; Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine; Managing Partner, Shevchenko Didkovskiy and Partners, a law firm; Founder and President Emeritus, Ukrainian Bar Association; Founder, Forum of Young Ukrainian Leaders. Yohei Shibasaki

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation, Japan

Graduate, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan. Formerly, 10 years with Sony Corporation, working with global leading companies such as Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Lenovo, and Panasonic in more than 10 countries. 2007, Founder, Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation.Committee member of the Foreign Workers’ Employment Policy Survey Project, administered by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.

Shruti Shibulal

Chief Executive Officer and Director, Tamara Leisure Experiences, India

Shruti Shibulal is CEO and Director of Tamara Leisure Experiences. She strives to make Tamara synonymous with responsible tourism by incorporating principles of sustainability into the development and operations of each of Tamara's properties and creating impactful employment within their respective communities. Tamara operates resorts and hotels in South India, and has interests in Germany as well.

Shruti is a Trustee of the Advaith Foundation and SD Foundation, organizations involved in providing educational opportunities and healthcare assistance to underprivileged sections of society. She is also a Trustee of WEP - Women's Education Project, which focuses on educating and uplifting young women from vulnerable backgrounds. Shruti is on the Governing Board of ATREE - Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment.

In 2019, Shruti launched SAATHIYA - a hospitality skilling program which enables young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become employable within the restaurant and hotel industries. Focussing on industry-relevant skilling, building careers, and creating a community, SAATHIYA has already shown positive results in improving the lives and prospects of its graduates.

Kunihiko Shimada

Chief Executive Officer, KS International Strategies, Inc., Japan

BA (Hons) in Political Science, Amherst College; LLB (Hons), Doshisha Univ.; MA in International Studies, Johns Hopkins SAIS. Negotiation strategist and negotiator on international issues, ranging from peace and security, energy, trade, to global environmental issues. Former UN mediator on peace and security issues and Former Special Advisor to the Minister of the Environment Japan (until March 2016). Currently, Founder and CEO, KS International Strategies; Partner, Sun Investment; lead negotiator and co-chair of many items within climate negotiations. Provides advice on energy and environmental policies and strategies; organizing events including concerts and fashion events; global affairs ranging from peace and security to environmental issues and energy policies. Expertise: negotiation strategies; peace and security issues; global climate change as well as other global environment issues; energy policies and strategies (multiple energy areas); coordination of events, including concerts, workshops; network building; leadership management; public speaking.

Daniel M. Shin

Co-founder, KingsBay Capital, USA

Daniel M. Shin is a venture capitalist, executive scholar, and luxury executive. Daniel has run KingsBay Capital, a cross-border venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Daniel also oversees corporate development at MCM, a German luxury brand, that operates in 40+ counties, and has taught at Korea University on adjunct basis. Daniel has served in various executive and board positions at private and public companies such as KT, Hanwha, CJ and Daesung Group. He also worked at Accenture as a summer business analyst. Daniel has published several books and is a frequent speaker on the subjects related to entrepreneurship and innovation. Daniel was nominated as Young Global Leader in 2016 by the World Economic Forum. He was also honored to become Yale World Fellow under the former president Richard Levin's legacy at Yale. Daniel received DBA from l'Université de Paris(IX)-Dauphine, Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL), MSc from Stern School of Business, New York University and BSc from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University at Bloomington. He completed post-graduate studies at Harvard, Oxford and Princeton University. Daniel resides in Seoul, Korea.

Sally Shin

Co-Founder, Raive, USA

Sally Shin is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Raive. Raive is building state of the art multimedia foundation AI models to enable multimedia AI to reach the masses, and solve the fundamental IP problems impeding the widespread adoption of AI by the multimedia industries. Before Raive, she was the Chief Strategy Officer at UnitedMasters. She spent over 10 years in media working at CNBC and Bloomberg. She launched CNBC's first tech show, Squawk Alley and was the youngest ever bureau chief leading the San Francisco office for the network. She is also a scout for Kleiner Perkins.

Taejun Shin

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Gojo & Company, Japan

Taejun is the Founder and CEO of Gojo & Company, a start-up providing tech-enabled microfinance services through its operating companies in developing nations. Founded in 2014, Gojo operates in 5 countries, serving 1.5 million customers with 9,000 group employees as of 2022. Having completed its Series E financing round of $100 million recently, it is the fastest-growing microfinance group in the sector's history, projecting to do an IPO in a few years.

Having graduated from Korea University and Waseda Graduate School of Finance, Taejun worked at Morgan Stanley and Unison Capital and engaged in private equity investments for eight years. While working in the industry, he founded an NGO named Living in Peace in 2007. Living in Peace made the first microfinance investment fund in Japan's investment history in 2009 and has supported children in Japan living under the alternative care system. In 2021, Taejun co-founded Japan Office for Standards on Children's Services, whose job is to publish inspection reports on local authority children's Services ("Jido-sodanjo").

Taejun has authored nine books about finance, child welfare, and innovation. He is the finisher of a 1648 km ultra-marathon and holds a Karate black belt and 6 Dan of Go (game). He loves playing drums and taking street photos of people in the world.
