Dirk Carsten Hoke

Orenzo "Perry" Hollowell

Head of Equities and Sustainable Investing, CFI Partners, USA

Perry Hollowell has over 15 years in the financial services industry and a passion for investing for profit and purpose. As the Head of Equities and Sustainable Investing at CFI Partners, he oversees public and private equity impact strategies aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the integration of ESG best practices across the firm’s fixed income and equity portfolios.

In his prior role as a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, Perry managed over $750 million in equity derivative strategies. While at Guggenheim, Perry was instrumental in establishing the firm’s Social Justice Initiatives Operating Committee, which seeks to invest in and support minority-owned businesses. Before Guggenheim, Perry was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s internal hedge fund, Principal Strategies. As a portfolio manager specializing in global macro investment strategies, he invested across asset classes and the capital structure of companies.

Perry has a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in econometrics and statistics from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He is a charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Market Technician (CMT), Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA), and EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) designations. Perry has also completed the CFA Institute’s Certification in ESG Investing, the Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certification, and is an IFRS Fundamentals of Sustainable Accounting (FSA) credential holder.

The World Economic Forum has recognized Perry as a Young Global Leader in 2022. He is an alumnus of the Robert Toigo Foundation Fellowship and a 40 Under 40 honoree.

Perry currently serves on the boards of the Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic Chapter, the Smithsonian’s D.C. Regional Council, and the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum. He is an advisor to Silver Lining Finance, which believes there is no better risk than small businesses and Beyond the Billion (launched as the Billion Dollar Fund for Women). In his spare time, Perry enjoys struggling through boxing workouts, staying on his wife’s good side, and teaching his son how to be a kind human being.

Sven Holstenson

Managing Partner, Pictet Group, Switzerland

Sven Holstenson has been a Managing Partner of the Pictet Group since May 2023. He is responsible for the Pictet Asset Services and Technology & Operations divisions. In addition, Sven is Chairman of the Executive Committee of Banque Pictet & Cie SA.
Before being named Managing Partner, Sven was Equity Partner and Head of Europe for Pictet Wealth Management.
Prior to joining Pictet in 2012, he worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Co.
Sven holds a Master’s degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
He also serves as Board member of SIX Group.

Ho Ren Hua

Chief Executive Officer, Thai Wah Group, Thailand

Ren Hua Ho is the Chief Executive Officer of of Thai Wah Public Company - a regional Agri Food platform from Farm to Shelf based in Southeast Asia developing from farm to shelf a range of food, starch and bio packaging materials. Thai Wah was nominated in 2022 by HR Asia as one of the Best Companies to Work, and currently operates in 7 countries in 15 locations including USA, India and China. Ren Hua also spearheads Thai Wah Ventures and Roseco - the first tapioca based bio packaging platform of its kind.

Thai Wah, in conjunction with Temasek founded the SEA Agri Food Summit in 2022 and in 2023 was co-chair of the Grow Asia bilateral joint councils on agri development in the region.

Ren Hua graduated with Honors from the The Wharton School and is currently a Masters graduate student at the University of Chicago. He started his career in Bain New York, and is married with two kids.

Leila Hoteit

Managing Director and Senior Partner, Boston Consulting Group, United Arab Emirates

Leila is a Managing Director & Senior Partner at BCG, based in the Middle East. She is specialized in human capital topics and is a member of the global leadership teams of both the public sector and social impact practices of BCG. She has over 20 years of strategy and operations experience acquired through projects in the Middle East and Europe.
Leila also has extensive experience in social development and culture, and works with policymakers, regulatory authorities, and key public-sector entities on policy development, strategic planning, organizational development, and governance.

Lama Hourani

Founder and Creative Director, Lama Hourani Creations, France

Lama Hourani is the founder of her eponymous jewellery line. A designer, artist and adventurer at heart, she applies her background in Product Design and multidisciplinary arts to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are not only commercially appealing but also conceptually meaningful. Hourani launched her first jewellery collection in 2000 in silver, establishing herself as a trendsetter by reinventing Arab heritage. Through her art gallery in Amman Jordan she works on connecting the art scene in the MENA with the world & through her jewellery she builds cultural; bridges fusing architecture, archaeology & methodology to create a universal language beyond ethnicities, religions & languages.
She now resides between Paris and Amman.

Ken Howery

Co-Founder and Partner, Founders Fund, USA

Ken Howery is Co-Founder and Partner of Founders Fund, the first founder-focused venture capital firm with over US$ 1 billion under management and investments in over 50 companies. Howery has led or co-led investments in a number of companies at Founders Fund including Facebook, Quantcast, Geni and ZocDoc. Prior to Founders Fund, he co-founded PayPal and served as the company's first Chief Financial Officer. At PayPal, he developed a product that accelerated much of the viral growth on eBay, helped raise over US$ 200 million in private financing, worked on the company's public offerings and assisted in the company's US$ 1.5 billion sale to eBay. He was also a partner with Peter Thiel in his private venture investing, helping in diligence deals, including the Series A investment in Facebook. Howery was chosen as a keynote speaker at the Harvard Business School Entrepreneurship Conference and was selected as one of the Top 10 VCs under 36 by Venture Capital Journal. He graduated with a degree in Economics from Stanford University.

Christine Hsu

Managing Director, Co-Head of Financial Sponsors Group, Asia-Pacific, UBS AG, Hong Kong SAR, China

Christine is a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and Co-heads the Financial Sponsors Group in Asia-Pacific covering private equity clients across the region. She has also been the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Diversity & Inclusion Council since 2014 promoting awareness of diversity issues across the region, attracting and retaining key talent and increasing inclusiveness across the bank. Christine has worked at UBS for 17 years in both the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions based in Hong Kong and San Francisco, respectively. She has a Bachelor of Science from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Jacob Hsu

Chief Executive Officer, Catalyte, USA

Graduate, Wharton School of Business. Currently CEO of Catalyte, a workforce transformation and upskilling technology company in the United States : Former CEO of Symbio, a global IT services company. Former: CEO, Epitome Software, an IT services company focused on financial services. Investment Banker focused on mergers and acquisitions, Fox-Pitt, Kelton; Chief Executive Officer, Trilogica Technologies, a data aggregation software company. Named by Chief Executive Magazine as one of the world's Top 12 Young Global Leaders of Tomorrow (2008).

Jukay Hsu

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Pursuit, USA

Jukay Hsu is the co-founder & CEO of Pursuit, whose mission is to create transformation where it’s needed most. Pursuit’s programs increase participant incomes from $18,000 to $85,000 by equipping them with software engineering skills and enabling them to get jobs and create leaders reflective of the diversity in our society. Jukay graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and then served as a U.S. Army officer where he commanded a rifle platoon in Iraq and earned the Bronze Star Medal. Jukay served as the youngest member of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Transition Team and Jobs Task Force. He currently serves as a Director of the New York City Water Board, the Vice-Chair of Friends of the Brooklyn Queens Connector, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for New York City Foundation.

Mei Mei Hu

Chief Executive Officer, Vaxxinity, USA

Mei Mei is the CEO of Vaxxinity and a member of the executive committee of United Biomedical, Inc. She oversaw the launch of one of the first endobody vaccines in the world and the successful spin-out of three companies. Mei Mei was formerly a consultant at McKinsey & Company where she advised pharmaceutical companies on strategic, operational and organizational issues. Prior to that, Mei Mei was in the Securities group at Cravath, Swaine and Moore. Mei Mei is also co-founder of an investment and advisory group with active investments in real estate, energy and life sciences. She was named to Time 100 Next list, Fortune 40 under 40, and Young Global Leaders of World Economic Forum. She holds a B.A. from University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
