Shamina Singh

President, Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth; Executive Vice-President, Sustainability, Mastercard, USA

Shamina leads impact for Mastercard. She is the Founder & President of the Center for Inclusive Growth and the Impact Fund, the social impact and philanthropic hubs of Mastercard. She also serves as Executive Vice President of Sustainability, is a member of the company’s Management Committee and executive sponsor of the PRIDE business resource group. Currently, Shamina serves as an appointed member of the U.S. President’s Export Council, which serves as the principal national advisory committee on international trade. She co-chairs the Advisory Board of the Ad Council of America, and is a board member of ADL, an anti-hate organization. She is an alum of the WEF Young Global Leaders program and a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute.

Mayank Singhal

CEO, 10xAD Investments, Abu Dhabi Growth Fund (ADG), United Arab Emirates

Mayank Singhal is CEO of 10xAD, a UAE based investment firm representing strategic capital from Abu Dhabi. In his current role, Mayank runs a global investment mandate with a hybrid investment strategy spanning fund commitments and direct deals across global markets.

He was recognized by the World Economic Forum in 2022 as a Young Global Leader (YGL) for his efforts in global technology investing across emerging and developed markets. Mayank was also invited by Fortune to its ‘40 under 40’ young leaders cohort in 2019. He holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (GSB), where he served as the youngest member of its Global Management Board. Mayank previously served on McKinsey and Company’s New Ventures Advisory Council in New York, advising the firm on its technology initiatives. 

Prior to 10xAD, Mayank helped establish ADQ, a leading sovereign wealth fund in the UAE, where he served as Executive Director and Global Head of Private Equity and Venture Capital. While at ADQ, Mayank is credited with building the world’s largest technology-focused sovereign investment program. He led investments in excess of $25 billion across several technology businesses in North America, Europe and Asia, and made mega-sized LP commitments to develop deep partnerships with several top tier funds and top-rated GPs. During his time at the firm, Mayank was a Member of the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee.

Before ADQ, Mayank served as a close personal advisor to Ratan N Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group, and helped set up RNT Capital, a $300 million venture fund backed by Ratan Tata to invest in global technology start-ups including AirBnB and Xiaomi.

Mayank also spent a number of years at established global firms including Temasek, TPG and McKinsey, where he built his career across consulting and private equity investing.

H.R.H. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais

Chair, International Board, Amnesty International, United Kingdom

Described by the Sunday Times as “an activist, academic, and an aristocrat out to shatter myths surrounding mental illness and psychology”, Dr. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais is an international psychology trauma specialist, Founder and Director of Fourth Dimension Consultancy, and the Chair of the International Board of Amnesty International. Dr. Bais's focus is human rights and mental health through a feminist lens. She was a thought leader and strategist inspiring on psychology, leadership, and human rights on her Lite FM radio show Mind Matters which had a weekly listenership of 1 million. Named a Fellow of the Apolitical Academy, Prestige Magazine's 40 Under 40, and bestowed the Global Citizen Psychologist Citation from the American Psychological Association, Bais is an alumni of Lady Shri Ram College, University College London, Columbia University, The Chicago School, a member of YPO and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. With two decades in the international fashion industry as a model and named a super model by Vogue, Bais's prerequisite for appearing on covers is that staunch attention is paid to body positivity. She has received Savvy's people's choice award for being the role model women most believed in.

Tara Singh Vachani

Tara Singh Vachani is the Managing Director of Antara Senior Living, focused on improving the lives of seniors. Antara Senior Living is the first Indian venture creating vibrant residential communities that offer lifestyle with lifecare. Tara is also engaged with the Max India Foundation.

Virginijus Sinkevicius

Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, European Commission, Belgium

Virginijus Sinkevičius has been the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries since 2019. He was formerly the Minister of Economy of Lithuania (2017-2019). Before becoming the Minister of Economy, Sinkevičius led the Economic Committee of the Parliament of Lithuania. Sinkevičius was elected to Parliament in October 2016. Before that, he was a Team Lead for Regulatory Affairs at Invest Lithuania. Prior to joining Invest Lithuania, Sinkevičius was Managing Editor at the US Office of The Lithuanian Tribune in Washington D.C. Sinkevičius holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from Aberystwyth University and a Master’s degree in European International Affairs from Maastricht University.

Haikal Siregar

Managing Director and Partner, Boston Consulting Group, Indonesia

Haikal Siregar is Managing Director and Partner at the Boston Consulting Group, where he leads the organization in Indonesia. With expertise in the industrial, green economy and consumer sectors, he specializes in using digital and technology for large-scale transformations. Siregar has facilitated the delivery of substantial value creation for organizations while navigating significant disruptions such as digital advances, COVID-19 and climate change. Siregar collaborates with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, UN Global Compact, WWF and GEAPP to drive industry-wide transformational initiatives, including the Indonesian Just Energy Transition Partnership programme and the Post-COVID Economic Recovery Taskforce. Siregar is dedicated to fostering the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises. He is also involved in pro bono social impact work, supporting initiatives such as the social enterprise accelerator Platform Usaha Sosial and organizations such as Kitabisa and Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa.

Varun Sivaram

Group Senior Vice-President, Strategy, Innovation, Portfolio, Partnerships and M&A, Ørsted, USA

Dr. Varun Sivaram is Senior Vice President and member of the Group Executive Team at Ørsted, a leading renewable energy company with the world’s largest offshore wind energy portfolio, where he leads strategy, innovation, portfolio and capital allocation, and partnerships and M&A. He previously served in the U.S. Biden-Harris administration as the managing director for clean energy and innovation for Secretary John Kerry, the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, where he spearheaded flagship U.S. initiatives such as the First Movers Coalition. He has also served as Chief Technology Officer of ReNew Power (NASDAQ:RNW), a multibillion-dollar renewable-energy firm that is India's largest; on the faculty of Columbia University and Georgetown University; as director of the energy program at the Council on Foreign Relations; and as senior energy advisor to the Los Angeles Mayor and New York Governor. TIME Magazine named him to its TIME 100 Next list of the next hundred most influential people in the world, and MIT Technology Review named him one of the top 35 innovators under 35. His books include "Taming the Sun: Innovations to Harness Solar Energy and Power the Planet," "Energizing America: A Roadmap to Launch a National Energy Innovation Mission," and "Digital Decarbonization: Promoting Digital Innovations to Advance Clean Energy Systems." His TED Talk on India's clean energy transition has been viewed more than 1.5 million times. A Rhodes and Truman Scholar, he holds a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from Oxford University and undergraduate degrees from Stanford University.

Birgit Skarstein

Athlete, International Paralympic Committee, Norway

Birgit Skarstein is a Paralympic Champion, World Champion, world record holder in rowing and a prominent global advocate for the value of an inclusive society and opportunities for people with disabilities. Skarstein’s public service includes four years on the Committee of Finance in Oslo City Council and five years on the Norwegian Advisory Board of Biotechnology. She has served as Chair of the board of the Norwegian Association of Youth with Disabilities. She is currently in her second term on the Athletes Commission in the International Paralympic Committee while still competing at top international level. She is Co-Founder of the WE foundation, which promotes disability inclusion in sports, work life and social spheres. Skarstein also holds seats on several boards. She is a six-time World Champion and holds 12 World Championship medals in rowing and Nordic skiing. She has competed in five Paralympic Games and was the Norwegian flag bearer in 2018. Skarstein aims to defend her Tokyo 2020 win at the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. Globally and nationally, she figures on TV, TEDx, radio and podcasts, in political engagements and programmes such as the US Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program and World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community. Skarstein currently chairs the Future Advisory Board of Reitan Retail, guiding responsible retail practices.

David Skilling

Founding Director, Landfall Strategy Group BV, Netherlands

Dr David Skilling is the founding Director of Landfall Strategy Group, an economic and policy advisory firm based in the Netherlands and Singapore. David advises governments, companies, and financial institutions in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe on the impact of global macro, globalisation, and geopolitics, from a small advanced economy perspective. David writes regularly on global economic and political issues, including in a column in Singapore's Straits Times as well as in the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, Project Syndicate, and Nikkei Asian Review. David has recently served as a Senior Advisor to the McKinsey Centre for Government; as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs & Trade in New Zealand; and as a Fellow at Singapore’s Civil Service College. Previously, David was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company in Singapore, as well as being a Senior Fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute. Prior to joining McKinsey at the start of 2009, David was the founding Chief Executive of the New Zealand Institute, a privately funded, non-partisan think-tank. Until 2003, he was a Principal Advisor at the New Zealand Treasury, where he worked primarily on economic growth issues. David has a PhD in Public Policy and a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University, as well as a Master's of Commerce (Hons) in Economics from the University of Auckland.

E. Benjamin Skinner

Founder and President, Transparentem, USA

E. Benjamin Skinner is Founder and President of Transparentem. Previously, he co-founded TAU Investment Management, and prior to that was Senior Fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism of Brandeis University. He was named one of National Geographic’s “Adventurers of the Year 2008.” His first book, A Crime So Monstrous: Face-to-Face with Modern-Day Slavery (Free Press; 2008), was awarded the 2009 Dayton Literary Peace Prize for nonfiction, a citation from the Overseas Press Club in its book category for 2008, and a finalist for The Ryszard Kapuscinski International Award for literary reportage in 2011.

Previously he held a fellowship at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, served as Special Assistant to Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, and worked as Research Associate for U.S. Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations. His 50+ chapters, monographs, and articles have appeared in numerous publications including Bloomberg Businessweek, Time, Newsweek, Travel + Leisure, Los Angeles Times, Foreign Policy, and others. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
