Jeffrey Lu

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Engine Biosciences Pte Ltd, Singapore

Jeff Lu is CEO and Co-Founder of Engine Biosciences, which discovers and develops new precision medicines based on novel biology uncovered by its platform integrating next-generation CRISPR screening, machine learning, and drug discovery chemistry. Engine Bio identifies patient subpopulations defined by specific genetic mutations sensitizing cancers to certain drugs, and the company is advancing its pipeline of oncology therapeutics and biomarkers. Engine Bio is backed by US$80M in funding from blue chip investors across US and Asia.

Jeff is passionate about generating impact from new technology, data, and biotechnology. He serves as a co-founder of NSG Ventures, a biotech venture capital and venture building firm. He has helped build several companies through significant value creation, financings, and exits, including Enleofen (acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim), AAE (acquired by Expedia), PairX Bio, GDMC, and others. Earlier in his career, he led corporate and commercial strategy and data analytics at AirAsia and was a consultant at Bain & Company.

H.R.H. Prince Mateen of Brunei Darussalam

Prince, The State of Brunei, Brunei Darussalam

He is the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and a Major of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. He accompanies his father to numerous events, such as during the US-ASEAN special summit.

Henry Motte-Muñoz

Founder and Executive Chairman, Edukasyon.ph, Philippines

Henry Motte-Muñoz is the Founder of Edukasyon.ph, the largest EdTech platform in the Philippines empowering more than 8 million students each year with advice, soft skills training and academic support. He got his MBA from Harvard Business School, and previously worked at Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs. Henry’s work has been recognized by global and regional organizations including the WEF (YGL Class of 2020), Financial Times and IFC (Transformational Business Award 2017), Forbes (30 Under 30 Asia 2016) and Asia Society (21 Young Leaders 2015).

Rohan Ramakrishnan

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The ASEAN Post, Malaysia

Rohan Ramakrishnan is a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum. He is also the youngest Founder & CEO of a regional media firm in ASEAN. Whilst studying at INSEAD and having recognised the data and information gap preventing the Southeast Asian economies from fully integrating and unlocking its true economic potential - Rohan conceived the of Digital Media Nusantara (“DMN”) – a hybrid financial technology and digital media firm.

Under the DMN ecosystem, The ASEAN Post was first established to cover regional geopolitics and financial markets as an ASEAN centric news provider. More recently, RainmarketX was established as a regional financial market data services data provider. DMN has been funded by Rohan’s family office, Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance via Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad and global venture capital firm 500 Global – a backer of majority of ASEAN unicorn start-ups. DMN is seen as a potential alternative solution to Bloomberg and Refinitive in Southeast Asia.

Prior to this disruptive career in media and financial technology, Rohan worked in corporate restructuring and investment banking at Ernst Young and CIMB Investment Bank. He also had a brief stint in his family office working within the agribusiness and clean energy industries on infrastructure and project financing initiatives for Fortune 500, government linked investment corporations, multinationals and multilateral organisations and blue-chip public listed companies. Passionate about structured finance, Rohan recognises himself as a financier and then an entrepreneur.

Rohan is an alumnus of Trinity College, University of Melbourne, University of Hertfordshire, and INSEAD. He has has also completed executive programmes in Corporate Financial Strategy at the London School of Economics and Public Leadership programme at the John F Kennedy School of Government. He is also accomplished rider, equestrian and polo player.

Paul Rivera

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Kalibrr Technology Ventures, Philippines

Paul Rivera is the co-founder and chairman of Kalibrr, a careers platform for over 7 million young professionals in the Philippines and Indonesia. Paul is the co-founder and Managing Director of Remedy/Healthspan, a fast growing medical and clinic business in the Philippines. Paul is a graduate of UC Berkeley and is an Endeavor Entrepreneur.

Kishin R K

Chief Executive Officer, RB Capital Limited, Singapore

Founded in 2006 by Kishin RK, RB Capital is a privately held real estate group with over USD $5billion in assets. RB Capital is focused on the acquisition and development of hospitality, commercial, and healthcare properties across Asia Pacific. Its portfolio in Singapore includes the RB Capital Building Raffles Place, 25 North Bridge Building and Cuppage Terrace. In Kuala Lumpur, RB Capital owns the HSBC Building in Bukit Bintang.

Kishin launched RB Capital Hotels in 2010, which holds a bold presence in the hospitality sector following the opening of Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay, Holiday Inn Little India and Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay. Today, RB Capital Hotels is one of Singapore’s largest hotel owners with over 1200 keys.

In 2013 , RB Capital expanded with the launch of RB Capital Healthcare, providing innovative and strategic real estate solutions to the healthcare industry, most recently launching Farrer Square Medical Centre.

In the same year, RB Capital acquired Robertson Quay- an extensive and heartfelt 5-year regeneration project along the Singapore River.The project has since transformed Robertson Quay into one of the most trendy neighbourhoods in Singapore. It is anchored by Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay which adjoins The Quayside, a lifestyle retail and dining destination along the historic Singapore River.

In 2019, Kishin founded Tiffinlabs with the focus on converting underutilised real estate into delivery enabled kitchens combined with a brand development platform to create digital first restaurants built for global scale. Tiffinlabs has expanded to the USA, EU from its home base of Singapore to bring delivery first restaurant brands to consumers around the world through its committed global network of over 1,000 cloud kitchens.

Kishin is a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO) and sits on the Board of Singapore River One and Raffles Place Alliance which are private - public partnerships, charged with rejuvenating strategic locations across Singapore. He also sits on the board of Weybourne Holdings as a non-executive director, the holding company of Dyson.

Vivek Salgaocar

Managing Director and Founder, Prospect Innovation PTE LTD, Singapore

Vivek Salgaocar is an experienced operator, innovator, creator, and investor. He is founder of Prospect Innovation, a first-of-its-kind ecosystem supporting start-ups and innovators as they build, pilot and scale frontier technologies to address the biggest challenges facing the natural resource and mining industries in a sustainable and socially responsible way. He is Director at the Vimson Group, a family-owned conglomerate with interests in mineral resources, real estate and financial services. The group is also actively involved in philanthropic initiatives, particularly in healthcare and sports. Within the Minerals Division at the Vimson Group, Salgaocar oversees sales, marketing and trading, along with global business development and expansion. As Co-Head of the Vimson Group Family Office, he spearheaded the efforts to create and institutionalise a multi-asset, multi-strategy investment enterprise with global interests.

Vivek earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, and his BA summa cum laude, from Emory University. He was designated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2020 and served on its Advisory Group. He is also a part of the Young Leaders Circle at the Milken Institute. Vivek is a Board Member, Chair of the Outreach Committee and Member of the Governance Committee of Magic Bus, whose mission to alleviate poverty by taking individuals from childhood to livelihood. The organisation currently has roughly 500,000 participants and successfully secured over 87,000 white-collar job placements in 2022.

He is a Board Member of the Global Family Enterprise Program at Columbia Business School, and a member of the Singapore Chapters of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). He serves as the Group’s representative to the Confederation of Indian Industries’ India Business Forum, Singapore Business Federation, and the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Adi Sariaatmadja

Chairman, Surya Citra Media, Indonesia

Adi Sariaatmadja has served as CEO of PT Kreatif Media Karya (KMK), a fully owned subsidiary of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek), since 2012 and holds the position of Chairman of Surya Citra Media, the largest media company in Indonesia. He oversaw the digital transformation of Emtek Group. Under his supervision, he founded Vidio (the leading premium OTT/streaming service in Indonesia) and Dana (the top payment app in Indonesia). He also led the group to invest in a few notable tech companies which included Bukalapak (a leading O2O e-commerce that had the largest IPO in Indonesia in 2021), PropertyGuru (SEA’s leading online property company that went public in 2022 in NYSE), Kudo (acquired by Grab in 2017) and many others. Sariaatmadja’s passion to digitize the group’s business has led to a far-reaching cultural and technological transformation of its various businesses.

Anneliese Schulz

Chief Revenue Officer, Syncron AB, Singapore

Today Anneliese serves as Chief Revenue Officer for Syncron AB and member of the Group Management Team, one of the fastest growing SaaS companies headquarters in Sweden in their pursuit of enabling digital transformation for the manufacturing industry.

Anneliese has been previously acting as the youngest Regional President in Software AG’s history having lead their Asia Pacific and Japan business operations and having been a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team.

Her achievements externally working with customers and partners to transform their operations to the digital world as well as internally to transformation the Software AG operation in region led her to be recognised as “Business Leader of the Year” at the 2019 “Women in IT Asia” Awards, to be shortlisted as the "Transformation Leader of the Year" at the 2020 "Women in IT Asia" Awards and to be called out as part of the top 100 list of Women in Tech Listing in 2020. Anneliese is committed towards gender equality, multi-culturalism, and employee engagement. She has been leading her regional team on diversity and inclusion which she views as key innovation enabler and actively promotes in her work environment growth mindset principles and purpose-lead operations.

Haikal Siregar

Managing Director and Partner, Boston Consulting Group, Indonesia

Haikal Siregar is Managing Director and Partner at the Boston Consulting Group, where he leads the organization in Indonesia. With expertise in the industrial, green economy and consumer sectors, he specializes in using digital and technology for large-scale transformations. Siregar has facilitated the delivery of substantial value creation for organizations while navigating significant disruptions such as digital advances, COVID-19 and climate change. Siregar collaborates with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, UN Global Compact, WWF and GEAPP to drive industry-wide transformational initiatives, including the Indonesian Just Energy Transition Partnership programme and the Post-COVID Economic Recovery Taskforce. Siregar is dedicated to fostering the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises. He is also involved in pro bono social impact work, supporting initiatives such as the social enterprise accelerator Platform Usaha Sosial and organizations such as Kitabisa and Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa.

Steve Suryadinata

Founder and Chairman, Mata Investments, Indonesia

Steve is the Founder of Mata Investments, a diversified investment firm focusing on four key sectors: early-stage, growth equity, real estate, and financial. He has a strong family background in the mining industry, being one of the major shareholders of the largest coking coal mine in Southeast Asia. However, since 2015, Steve has adopted an impact-driven approach and divested from the coal industry.

Today through Mata Investments, Steve is a big believer in impact investing and actively seeks for opportunities in the sector. One of the more notable companies under the group is BSA Land, the largest property developer in Indonesia catering to the middle-class market. Highly driven by impact, the company shifted its strategy from high-end to the middle-class sector and currently takes a leading role in the private sector to ease Indonesia's 8 million housing backlog. With 30 projects across the nation, BSA Land has constructed over 20,000 residential and commercial units that cater primarily to young families, newlyweds, and millennials. Additionally, the company has invigorated nearly 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through its innovative and cost-efficient commercial developments across the country.

Steve was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2022 and is also a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization). He holds an MBA from Duke University, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Macquarie University and completed the Global Leadership & Public Policy Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Outside of work, Steve is an avid martial arts enthusiast. He founded Bali MMA, which quickly rose to prominence and was ranked among the Top 10 MMA Gyms in Asia by Fox Sports. The competition team is now widely regarded as one of the most competitive in Brazilian Jiujitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Kickboxing , boasting world champions and athletes from over a dozen countries its ranks.

Shuyin Tang

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Beacon Fund, Viet Nam

Shuyin Tang is CEO and Co-Founder of the Beacon Fund, an innovative investment vehicle providing fit-for-purpose financing to women-led and women-focused businesses in South-East Asia. She has been living and investing in Viet Nam since 2013 and has played a pivotal role in developing the country's impact investing sector. In addition to her role at the Beacon Fund, she is also a Partner at Patamar Capital, a leading impact investing platform in South-East Asia. Tang spearheads gender lens investing initiatives at Patamar, including launching and managing the groundbreaking Investing in Women Fund. She has been recognized as one of Australia's 100 Women of Influence, an Asia 21 Young Leader, and one of the Most Influential Asian Australians: 40 Under 40. She currently serves on the board and investment committee of the Equality Fund and as the Jury President for South and Central Asia for the Cartier Women's Initiative. Tang graduated summa cum laude from the Australian National University, where she also received the University Medal.
