Ms. Anu Acharya is the CEO of Mapmygenome India, a Genomics company whose vision is “To touch 100 million lives using genomics”. In 2013, she introduced the concept of improved healthcare through personal genomics in India. Ever since, she has successfully pioneered the company through growing product lines, expanding affiliate network, and a Pre-Series A round of funding. Under her able leadership, the company has won several awards and honors: ET Startup Awards 2015 – Women Ahead​, Nasscom Emerge 50 – League of 10​, Emerging Company of the Year 2015 – Govt. of Karnataka, SMART CEO ​List of Top 50 Startups, VCCircle Innovative Healthcare Startup 2015​, and more. She is a Distinguished Alumna from IIT Kharagpur.
From 2000 until April 2013, Ms. Anu Acharya was the CEO of Ocimum Biosolutions, a global
genomics outsourcing partner for discovery, development and diagnostics, a company that began as a pure Bioinformatics company. Since co-founding the company in 2000, she has led the company through three strategic international acquisitions, two capital raises for equity investments and launch of several innovative products, solutions and services through its proprietary platform called RaaS (Research as a Service).
Prior to founding Ocimum Biosolutions, Ms. Acharya has had rich experience in the Telecom, IT and entrepreneurship arenas. She worked for a start-up in the telecommunications space called Mantiss Information and a consulting firm called SEI Information where she helped create a social networking site for entrepreneurs. Her experience is backed by education at premier institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, India (IIT) and University of Illinois where she has two Postgraduate degrees in Physics and MIS.

E. Tendayi Achiume is Professor of Law at the at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and a research associate of the African Center for Migration and Society at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and the Refugee Studies Center at Oxford University. She is also the UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, and is the first woman to serve in this role since its creation in 1994. She was appointed to this position by the United Nations Human Rights Council in 2017. The current focus of her scholarship is the global governance of racism and xenophobia; and the legal and ethical implications of colonialism for contemporary international migration law. Her UN reports have addressed issues ranging from international human rights obligations requiring reparations for racial discrimination rooted in colonialism and slavery, to racial discrimination resulting from emerging digital technologies, among others. She is also a recipient of the UCLA Distinguished Teaching Award—the highest university-wide honor for excellence in teaching. Professor Achiume is a graduate of the Yale Law School, Yale University, and the United World College of the Atlantic. She is also a former law clerk of Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke and Justice Yvonne Mokgoro of the Constitutional Court of South Africa.

Niklas Adalberth, the unicorn entrepreneur behind payment start-up Klarna, donated $125 million to found the Norrsken Foundation, a tech-for-good ecosystem for social impact entrepreneurs daring to tackle societies biggest challenges. Norrsken currently houses 125+ companies in Europe's largest impact hub in Stockholm and is opening up Africas largest hub for entrepreneurs in Kigali Rwanda. Norrsken Foundation have also launched different impact funds in Europe and Africa.

Professor Adelegan is the Secretary-General of the International Rubber Study Group (ISG) based in Singapore, the biggest worldwide community in the Rubber Industry. He is a C-Suite Executive and an international development expert, a Professor of Practice of Environmental Science and Engineering and a practitioner-scholar in management with over three decades of distinguished professional trajectory across 20 African Countries, Europe and United States. His work experience spans several organizations including the United Nations, development finance institutions, international organizations, government, non-governmental organizations, education, innovation and research institutions among others.

He has extensive experience in the sustainable investment, disruptive innovation and circular economy of the elastomer products. He has held Senior Roles at the United Nations as the Team Lead for the Global Circular Economy Program of the United Nations Technology Innovation Lab at the first European Lab in Finland and as a Senior Advisor at the United Nations Office of Project Services in Denmark.

Professor Adelegan was the Division Chief at the Office of the Vice President of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development, an International Development Financial Institution established by ECOWAS Treaty and covering 15 ECOWAS Countries. He was a representative of Africa and the Middle East at the Climate Investment Trust Fund at the World Bank, Washington DC, United States. His portfolios has included programs and projects funded by the European Union, World Bank, Green Climate Fund, Climate Investment Fund, African Development Bank, ECOWAS, African Union, NEPAD Agency, Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), Australian Aid, several United Nations agencies and funds among others.

Professor Adelegan have held several board appointments, created strategic partnerships and mobilized resources from development agencies, development finance institutions and several donor agencies. He was a Member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council, Geneva, Switzerland and Non-Executive Director of the European Sustainable Development Organization among others.

He was a Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering at Universities in Africa, Europe and North America. He was a Professor of the Practice of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Venda, South Africa. He is a Visiting Professor of Water and Energy Engineering at the Pan African University, Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change), Tlemcen, Algeria established by the African Union. He was a Visiting Professor of Environmental Management at the Commonwealth University, London, United Kingdom. He is a Professor of Environmental Leadership at the Missional University, North Augusta, South Carolina, United States.

Professor Adelegan is a recipient of several global awards including: 2006 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, Geneva, Switzerland; recognition in 2007 as an Inventor Social Entrepreneur and Ashoka-Lemelson Fellow by the Ashoka Innovators for the Public and the Lemelson Foundation based in United States; 2009 Technology Pioneer of the World Economic Forum, Geneva, Switzerland; 2009 Technology Award Laureate and Prize Recipient of the Technology Museum of Innovation, San Jose, California, United States; 2010 Member of the Crans Montana Forum of New Leaders of Tomorrow, Geneva, Switzerland and 2010 Member of the Clinton Global Initiative, New York, United States among others.

He is in high demand as a regular speaker at international conferences in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, North America and Australia. He has made appearance in CNN as 2008 Principal Voices on the “Economics of Energy” by CNN in association with Shell, Times and Fortune Magazine. He has travelled to over 120 countries in this regard. He has written over 30 publications on several topical issues.

Professor Adelegan earned Two Doctorate Degrees. He earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Degree from the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He also gained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Nigerian Premier University of Ibadan. He is an alumnus of a number of executive programs including the United Nations University, Tokyo, Japan; the University of California, Berkeley, United States; Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California, United States; John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Business School, Harvard University, United States among others.

Fadel Adib, a Lebanese-American professor at MIT and Founder/CEO of Cartesian Systems, has made significant contributions to technology and research. As Founding Director of the MIT Signal Kinetics Lab, he has pioneered advances in sensing technology that have revolutionized the ability to understand the world, in ocean monitoring, medicine, human-computer interaction and robotics. His research has led to the creation of multiple start-ups, including Cartesian Systems, which focuses on mapping the physical world on an unprecedented scale. Adib has 80 peer-reviewed papers and patents to his name. He was named one of the world's top innovators aged under 35 by Technology Review in 2014 and recognized as an ACM SIGMOBILE Rockstar in 2023. His research has been featured worldwide and he has presented his work to notable figures such as President Barack Obama at the White House.

He holds a Bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut and a PhD from MIT.

Dr. Ali Ibrahim currently serves as a Sustainability & Competitiveness Advisor at at the KSA Center of Government. He has led work on establishing think tanks focusing on the social sector, urban futures, foresight research and impact. His work centers on strategic environmental and social impacts issues, with a special focus on the role of technology.

In the finance sector, Dr. Ibrahim has held the position of Global Head of Social and Sustainable Finance at a major financial institution. His leadership roles have included Chairmanship of the Sustainable Development Committee at the Bahrain Association of Banks and Co-Chairmanship of the Sustainability Working Group at the global Islamic finance industry body, CIBAFI. Additionally, he was the founding chairman of the Global Islamic and Sustainable FinTech Center at Bahrain Fintech Bay. He has been a member of various industry groups including the Consultative Group of the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets, and the Sustainable Finance Working Group of the Institute of International Finance. He is also part of various communities of the World Economic Forum including the Young Global Leaders, Executive Working Group on Financing, and Social Innovation.

Dr. Ibrahim's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Juridical Sciences (SJD—with distinction) from Georgetown University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Honours) from International Islamic University, Islamabad. His executive education includes programs at Harvard University, Oxford University, Cambridge University, Stanford University, and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, covering transformational leadership, sustainability, circular economy, and Artificial Intelligence.

Shai Agassi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Better Place, a mobility operator focused on one of this century's biggest challenges - building a scalable and sustainable personal transportation system that ends oil dependence. He works directly with government leaders, auto manufacturers, energy companies and others to make his vision of zero-emission electric vehicles powered by renewable energy a reality in countries around the world. This vision was inspired by a profound question posed at the World Economic Forum in 2005, ?How do you make the world a better place by 2020?? Agassi founded Better Place and, in 2007, officially launched the company. In 2008, Israel became the first country, and Renault-Nissan the first carmaker, to embrace the Better Place model of building an open network to enable mass adoption of electric vehicles and delivering transportation as a sustainable service. Soon thereafter, Denmark and Australia followed suit. Recognizing Agassi's visionary leadership with the Better Place model, Time magazine named him one of its ?Heroes of the Environment 2008?.

Roshan Ahmad heads JPMorgan’s Global Sovereign Advisory Group offering strategic and broad-based expertise to governments, focusing on sovereign ratings, public debt and fiscal policy optimization, market communication, multilateral discussions and environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations. Her team has advised more than 35 sovereigns across developed and emerging markets, together covering over 25% of global GDP across Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Ahmad has been at JPMorgan for over 15 years and is passionate about promoting women's representation in finance. She is actively involved in diversity and inclusiveness initiatives. She serves as a sub-committee member for JPMorgan's Women on the Move initiative, and is a board member of NMIC, a non-profit based in New York City catering to immigrant under-served communities. She also serves on the Board of JPMorgan Pakistan.

Nadia Ahmad Samdin is the youngest member of Singapore’s 14th Parliament, representing Ang Mo Kio GRC. She speaks on various environmental and social issues, such as nature and marine conservation, mental health, public housing, youth empowerment and gender equity. She has 18 years of experience in community development and currently serves on various boards and committees, including SHE, a non-profit that strives to empower women and girls through public-private partnerships and tackles online harms. As Counsel and Associate Director at social impact intermediary Tri-Sector Associates, she contributes her expertise to innovative outcomes-based social financing models and catalytic capital. Notably, she has structured and launched a project supporting employment transitions for individuals with differentiated abilities, developed a social impact guarantee for a youth skilling programme and implemented an outcomes amplifier model for income stability in lower-income households. Samdin has co-authored articles in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, where she shares practice-led insights. She is an Adjunct Fellow with the NUS Centre for Pro Bono & Clinical Legal Education, and was recognized on the 2020 Straits Times 30 and Under Singaporeans to Watch list, Singapore Business Review’s 21 Most Influential Lawyers 40 and Under, as well as 2021 Prestige 40 Under 40. Previously, Samdin practised corporate law, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, and was a current affairs producer with regional news channel, Channel NewsAsia.

Usman Ahmed is the Head of Global Public Affairs and Strategic Research at PayPal Inc. Ahmed is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law School. His research has been published in the Cambridge Press World Trade Review, MIT Press Innovations Journal, as well as the Boston University International Law Journal and has also been cited in articles appearing in the NY Times, Financial Times, and Straits Times. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council, and a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project. He serves no the Board of the DC Economic Club, the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, and the Muslim Public Service Network. Ahmed earned his JD from University of Michigan, his MA from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and his BA from University of Maryland.

Dr. Daniel P. Ahn is the co-founder and CEO of Delfi Labs, which provides machine learning-driven financial risk management solutions for businesses. He is also a non-residential Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Previously, he was Managing Director, the Chief U.S. Economist, and Head of Markets 360 – North America at BNP Paribas in New York. From 2014 to 2018, he was the Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of State, where he advised the Secretary of State and senior principals on a wide range of international economic and security topics, including global macroeconomic growth, economic warfare and sanctions, international trade, and energy and environmental issues.

Prior to entering public service in 2014, Dr. Ahn was the chief commodities economist at Citigroup in New York and also held senior positions at Citadel, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. He has also held research and teaching positions at Harvard University, the National Bureau of Economic Research, Columbia University, the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Monetary Fund, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Georgetown University, and the U.S. Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

He is the author of multiple research articles, Congressional testimony, and a textbook, Principles of Commodity Economics and Finance with MIT Press.

He was featured in Forbes Magazine as one of 30 under 30 in Finance. He is the recipient of both the Superior Honor Award and the Meritorious Honor Award from the U.S. Department of State.

He completed his A.B. in economics and finance with honors from Princeton University, and his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
