Teresa K. Kennedy

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Power Living Enterprises, USA

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Power Living Enterprises, training people in a conscious approach to wellness and success. She has produced hundreds of virtual/in-person mindfulness-based programmes with organizations such as Bloomberg Media and National Institutes of Health. She is also co-founder of Inner Dignity, a nonprofit using arts and media to empower and build mental resilience within the Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) community. An advocate for human potential, she led the Young PWR Brokers, teaching self-esteem skills to girls; founded the Ta Yoga House, first yoga studio in Harlem, NY; and was biographer for yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch, co-authoring two award-winning books and curating 66 one-of-a-kind events in 10 countries including the United Nations and World Government Summit in Dubai. She is a National Spokesperson for the American Heart Association and created Elder Dignity to transform views on aging and reform the adult guardianship system in the U.S. She produced the social impact video, The Deception of Protection (2019), moderated the #FreeBritney Symposium, and advised the #FreePeterMax campaign. She testified at the New York Senate Guardianship Roundtable Public Hearing and spoke at the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee, among other forums. Early career, she founded VH1 Interactive and VH1@Work Radio and was Vice-President of Business Development & Operations for MTV Networks where she managed a 200-person operation and launched six digital cable networks. At 20 years old, Kennedy consulted with Fortune 500 companies and wrote case studies at Harvard Business School. She has been in media, including CNN and Oprah's book Live Your Best Life! Kennedy has a dual BA in Sociology and Studio Art from Wellesley College, an MBA from Harvard, a PhD in World Religions, and executive education in Global Leadership and Public Policy. An American, she was born in Ghana, started school in Australia and studied design in Italy.

Vanessa Kerry

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Seed Global Health, USA

Dr. Kerry is the co-founder and CEO of Seed Global Health (Seed), a non-profit organization focused on health systems strengthening and transformation through long-term investments and training of the health workforce. Under her leadership, Seed has helped educate more than 34,000 doctors, nurses, and midwives in seven countries, helping to improve health care for more than 73 million people.

In June 2023 Dr. Kerry was appointed WHO Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health and is leading efforts to build advocacy around the impact of climate change on health in order to ensure equitable and just climate action. As co-chair of a workstream on the World Health Organization’s Public Health and Emergency Health Workforce Roadmap, she is helping to galvanize consensus for investment in surveillance, detection, and treatment for the next pandemic.

She is a critical care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and serves as the associate director of partnerships and global initiatives at the MGH Center for Global Health. She directs the Global Public Policy and Social Change program at Harvard Medical School where she has focused on links between security and health. She is the mother of two children.

Smriti Kirubanandan

Growth and Strategic Partnership Executive, HLTH Forward, USA

Smriti has a strong background in robotics and public health and currently serves as a Director, Healthcare at TATA Consultancy Services, where she focuses on driving significant transformations within the healthcare ecosystem, concentrating on customer experience, Intelligent automation, digital analytics, and insights, and is determined to make healthcare more accessible and affordable. She is also the Head of Strategic Marketing for Healthcare and Lifesciences, North America, where she drives brand development, thought leadership, and market research. Smriti serves on the Board of the World Food Bank and as a Vice Chair for the American College of Healthcare Executives, Southern California.

An empathetic and innovative strategic policy advisor has helped organizations globally to build the capacity to empower people to engage in wellness programs and is responsible for educating small farmers in Africa to lift them out of poverty to improve food & nutrition insecurity, impacting 2 million people per year. In 2022, Smriti was appointed to serve the Los Angeles County food equity round table as a Nutrition & Policy Advisor to design and strategize programs to address food insecurity by educating and improving access and affordability to nutritious food. Smriti is also the founder of HLTH Forward Podcast- a space that hosts healthcare leaders, policymakers, and artists such as Bryan Adams,Dr. Joneigh Khaldun of CVS Health, and many others to discuss the challenges in the system and what we could do collectively to move healthcare forward.

Smriti has shared her thought leadership by speaking at The Adama Carolla show, SXSW, HLTH, and other national forums. She is a health news contributor at Medcity News and is featured on Washington Post, ABC News, Huffington Post, Times of India, The Hindu, VegNews, Medium, and Yahoo News.

Smriti holds her Bachelor of Science in Robotics, Master in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California, and Masters in Public Health from the University of California,Los Angeles, Certified Raw Vegan Chef and Nutritionist, and is currently in Fellowship with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Sean Klimczak

Sr. Managing Director, Global Head of Infrastructure, Blackstone Group, USA

Sean T. Klimczak is a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone’s Private Equity Group, where he oversees the Firm’s global investment activities in power, transmission and natural resources.

Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Mr. Klimczak was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners. Prior to that, Mr. Klimczak worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley & Company’s Investment Banking Division.

Mr. Klimczak received a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, and an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he graduated first in his class and was selected as a Baker Scholar, a John L. Loeb Fellow, a Henry Ford II Scholar and a William J. Carey Scholar. Mr. Klimczak serves as a director of Cheniere Energy Partners, Black Rhino, Fisterra, Global Water Development Partners, PQ Energ y, Utility One Source, Sithe Global, Meerwind, Transmission Developers and The Blackstone Charitable Foundation.

Vera Kobalia

Co-Founder, Olyn, Canada

Vera Kobalia is the former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. In 2019, Ms. Kobalia was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver's Forty Under 40. She is currently a Board Director at Sandstorm Gold and an Economic Development Advisory Committee Member for the City of New Westminster.

Previously, she was an International Doing Business Advisor for the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance in Jakarta, Indonesia and held the role of Deputy Chair of the Board for the Astana Expo 2017 National Company in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Ms. Kobalia is an AsiaGlobal Fellow at the University of Hong Kong (researching use of Blockchain technologies for Public Sector/ Registries) and a member of the People’s Panel at the Centre for Public Impact in London, UK.

Ms. Kobalia is a co-founder of Olyn - an ultimate asset registry.

Kathryn Koch

President and Chief Executive Officer, TCW Group, USA

Katie is chief investment officer of Public Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. In this role, she leads the Fundamental Equity and Quantitative Investment Strategies businesses. Katie is a member of the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee and the Asset Management Executive Committee. She is also on the Board of Advisors of Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $1 billion investment strategy which aims to increase access to capital and facilitate connections for women, Black, Latinx, and other diverse entrepreneurs and investors.

Most recently, Katie served as co-head of the Fundamental Equity business. She previously worked in the firm's London office, where she led several businesses for 10 years. Katie was also co-head of the Global Portfolio Solutions (GPS) Group, managing multi-asset class portfolios and serving on the GPS Investment Committee. She joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2002 and was named managing director in 2011 and partner in 2016.

In 2015, Katie was honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She has also been named as one of the Top Women in Asset Management by Money Management Executive and the Financial Times HERoes list, which recognizes champions of women in business.

Katie is on the Board of Directors of TIFF Advisory Services, Inc. which serves the investment needs of the nonprofit community. She is a member of the Governing Board of Directors of the Robert Toigo Foundation, which works with leaders at organizations to create and implement high-impact solutions that drive inclusion and diversity. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Patton Veterans Project and is a member of the University of Notre Dame's Wall Street Leadership Committee.

Katie earned a BA, magna cum laude, in English and Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 2002.

Joseph Konzelmann

Partner; Global Head, Client and Capital Formation Group, TPG, USA

Joseph Konzelmann is Global Head of the Client and Capital Formation Group for TPG, USA. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and Senior Sovereigns Strategist at Goldman Sachs. Konzelmann advises leading sovereign funds and institutions on their investment portfolios and geopolitical risk. Prior to his career in finance, he served in the US Government, focused on Middle East affairs.

Michael Kratsios

Managing Director, Scale AI, USA

Michael served as the 4th Chief Technology Officer of the United States at The White House. As President’s top technology advisor, Michael led the development and execution of the national technology policy agenda.

Michael previously served as Under Secretary of Defense. As the third highest ranking official at the Department of Defense, Michael managed the largest research and development budget for a single organization in the world, supervising all research, engineering, development, and prototyping at the Pentagon.

Michael is currently a Managing Director at Scale AI, leading corporate strategy and helping accelerate AI applications across industries.

Maria Teresa Kumar

President and Chief Executive Officer, Voto Latino, USA

Emmy-nominated MSNBC contributor María Teresa Kumar is the co-founder President and CEO of Voto Latino. Since 2004, Kumar has raised more than $75 million to grow Voto Latino into the U.S.’s largest Latinx voter registration and advocacy organization, directly registering more than 1.4 million voters. In 2020, under her direction, Voto Latino registered 651,330 new voters 82% of who voted and mobilized 3.7 million low propensity voters leading into the 2020 election. In June 2020 alone, Kumar’s Voto Latino registered more than 100,000 voters.
With advertisers spending nearly $10 billion to reach the nation’s 64 million Hispanic consumers, whose median age is just 29.5 compared to 40.6 for non- Hispanics, Kumar’s pioneering use of technology, social media and celebrity to inspire transformative change in younger audiences led Fast Company to name
her one of the most creative minds in global business and Elle to name her one of the 10 most influential women in Washington.

Shinjini Kundu

Physician-Scientist, Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA

Shinjini Kundu, MD, Ph.D., is a physician and medical researcher at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is well-known for her work in diagnosing diseases from medical images at a pre-emergent stage where the images do not show human-identifiable abnormalities. By making previously imperceptible patterns recognizable using artificial intelligence, Shinjini's work has been truly transformational. Before her clinical appointment in radiology at Johns Hopkins, she received a PhD in artificial intelligence from Carnegie-Mellon concurrently with an MD from the University of Pittsburgh. Earlier, she obtained her BS and MS in electrical engineering from Stanford University. She is a prolific researcher with publications in top journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Nature Medicine. Her work has had a regional, national, and international impact. She has given TEDx talks and has been a featured speaker at the World Business Dialogue in Germany. She has also been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 and MIT Technology Review 35 under 35 lists. Shinjini contributed to the emerging digital health policies of the American Medical Association, digital privacy policies at the Observer Research Foundation, and the AI for good forum at the United Nations. Her work stands to accelerate new precision medical diagnostic technologies capable of detecting diseases earlier, with greater accuracy and suggestions for tailored treatments.
