Anu Acharya

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, mapmygenome.in, India

Ms. Anu Acharya is the CEO of Mapmygenome India, a Genomics company whose vision is “To touch 100 million lives using genomics”. In 2013, she introduced the concept of improved healthcare through personal genomics in India. Ever since, she has successfully pioneered the company through growing product lines, expanding affiliate network, and a Pre-Series A round of funding. Under her able leadership, the company has won several awards and honors: ET Startup Awards 2015 – Women Ahead​, Nasscom Emerge 50 – League of 10​, Emerging Company of the Year 2015 – Govt. of Karnataka, SMART CEO ​List of Top 50 Startups, VCCircle Innovative Healthcare Startup 2015​, and more. She is a Distinguished Alumna from IIT Kharagpur.
From 2000 until April 2013, Ms. Anu Acharya was the CEO of Ocimum Biosolutions, a global
genomics outsourcing partner for discovery, development and diagnostics, a company that began as a pure Bioinformatics company. Since co-founding the company in 2000, she has led the company through three strategic international acquisitions, two capital raises for equity investments and launch of several innovative products, solutions and services through its proprietary platform called RaaS (Research as a Service).
Prior to founding Ocimum Biosolutions, Ms. Acharya has had rich experience in the Telecom, IT and entrepreneurship arenas. She worked for a start-up in the telecommunications space called Mantiss Information and a consulting firm called SEI Information where she helped create a social networking site for entrepreneurs. Her experience is backed by education at premier institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, India (IIT) and University of Illinois where she has two Postgraduate degrees in Physics and MIS.

Priya Agarwal Hebbar

Non-Executive Director, Vedanta, India

Priya Agarwal Hebbar is Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc, India’s largest and the world's second-largest integrated zinc producer. She is also Non-Executive Director at Vedanta, a leading natural resources conglomerate. She is passionate about the environment and sustainability and has been playing an instrumental role in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) transformation at Vedanta. She steers best-in-class people practices across the group.

Ali Akhai

Chairman, Martin Dow, Pakistan

As an initiative-driven leader, Ali believes in the significance of diverse business, technological innovation, and talent, ready to lead impact with a desire to improve human well-being. He is recognized as the face of the Martin Dow Group and has received praise for his in-depth knowledge of numerous facets of the pharmaceutical industry.

After completing his Bachelor of Science business graduate degree (BSc) from Brunel University in the UK, he proceeded to further his education with a double Master's degree. He holds a Master of Science in Global Business from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science in International Business Development & Consulting from Novancia Business School in France.

He joined the Martin Dow Group of Companies in 2016 after completing a structured orientation program in Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Human Resources, and Regulatory Affairs. In 2017, he assumed the role of Business Development Lead, launching eight new products. By October 2018, he succeeded his father to be the next Chairman of the Martin Dow Group.

Ali is playing an essential role in shaping the future of the Martin Dow Group, carrying on his father's vision by guiding the group's foray into further diversification through successful strategic acquisitions and flexible technologies.

Besides dedicating his time to grow the business, Ali is deeply involved in Philanthropic endeavors, he has taken on roles in 3 leading Healthcare institutions. He is the Core Committee Member of the Shaukat Khanum Karachi Project, a Member of the Fund-Raising Committee at The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) and a Trustee at the Memon Health & Education Foundation supporting and ensuring free quality healthcare service.

With his impeccable leadership, he is now expanding the Martin Dow Group’s worldwide partnerships, talent development, and industry influence.

Aditi Avasthi

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Embibe, India

Aditi Avasthi is Founder of India's EdTech AI platform Embibe. Embibe is creating learning outcomes at scale through personalising the delivery of education to students in emerging markets. Amongst its many patents and publications, Embibe was recently granted a patent proving learning outcomes being created through its adaptive learning machine. Aditi and her company are the recipients of numerous honours and awards, including: WEF Global Innovator, Accenture Innovator of the Year; CEO of the Year 2019, India; Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, Vogue; Woman of the Year 2018; CEO of the Year; Best AI Company in Education; BWDisrupt 40 Under 40 2017; BBC 100 Women 2017; Digital Disruptor, Maximum Business Impact; Woman Entrepreneur of the Year; Fortune 40 Under 40 2015.

Azeeza Aziz Khan

Director, Summit Corporation Ltd, Bangladesh

Azeeza Aziz Khan is an accomplished chartered accountant and member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. With a background in economics, finance and accounting, she is Managing Director, Finance and Accounts, at Summit Corporation and Summit Holdings. Khan contributes to various not-for-profit organizations, focusing on education, healthcare and empowering marginalized communities. This includes her participation in a leadership capacity within organizations such as UNICEF, Anjuman Aziz Charitable Trust, ICDDR,B. Khan is a strong advocate for women's rights and represents these causes through her involvement in SAARC Business Council of WICCI, ACCA Bangladesh, JAAGO Foundation, SEID Trust and Prothom Alo Trust, with noteworthy contributions such as devising policies that support women and children’s rights within the national budget and other various industries.

Richa Bajpai

Founder and CEO, Campus Fund, India

Richa Bajpai is an accomplished entrepreneur and Founder of Campus Fund, India’s first and only Dorm Room Fund. This successful venture capital model invests in student-led start-ups in India, backed by IIFL Wealth, HDFC Bank and Gururaj Deshpande. Bajpai is also Co-Founder of Goodera, a global technology company that helps enterprises measure and manage their corporate social responsibility, sustainability and volunteering initiatives. With a valuation of $100 million, Goodera has raised over $26 million in funding. Bajpai’s achievements have garnered recognition, including being named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 India and Asia lists and the MIT Innovators Under 35 India List.

Jaideep Bansal

Chief Executive Officer, Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE), India

Jaideep Bansal is CEO of GHE Impact Ventures, an award-winning social enterprise that is bringing clean energy technologies and sustainable tourism together for the development of remote communities in India. He is also a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. Under his leadership, GHE has impacted more than 500,000 lives through solar electrification of villages, schools, and health centres across India, while creating meaningful livelihoods through sustainable tourism and creating carbon offset projects through clean cookstoves. GHE has been endorsed and acknowledged by the United Nations, World Economic Forum and World Travel & Tourism Council, and has been featured in documentaries by National Geographic and the BBC. Bansal’s work on sustainable rural development has inspired many at key international forums such as the G20, Davos, SEforAll and the ADB. He has been featured repeatedly at Davos among the top leaders inspiring change in the world. Bansal has served as the Foundation Board Member of the Global Shapers Community. An Asia Foundation Fellow 2020, he is also an adviser to the Government of India on sustainable development for remote communities of India.

Neeraj Bharadwaj

Managing Director, Carlyle India Advisors, India

Mr. Neeraj Bharadwaj is Managing Director of Carlyle India Advisors Private Limited, focused on large growth capital and buyout opportunities across sectors in India. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2012, Mr. Bharadwaj was a Managing Director with Accel Partners’ growth investing operation in India. Preceding that he was with Apax Partners for nearly 10 years – as a Partner in the U.S. and subsequently as Managing Director/Country Head for Apax in India.

Arjun Bhartia

Joint Managing Director, Jubilant Group, India

Arjun Bhartia is Co-Managing Director of Jubilant Pharmova and a Director of Jubilant Group Companies, which are primarily engaged in the chemical, pharmaceutical and quick-service restaurant sectors in India and the United States. Arjun helps to lead Jubilant Pharmova in its key platforms of radio-pharmaceuticals, allergy extracts and the manufacturing of sterile injectables with an additional focus on building R&D for novel drug discovery. Prior to joining Jubilant, he worked with Bain and Company and studied economics and theatre arts at Brown University.

Abid Butt

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Truckistan, Pakistan

BSc (Hons) in Economics, Lahore University of Management Sciences; MSc in Financial Management, SOAS; MBA, INSEAD. Formerly with: GEODIS (France’s largest logistics company), responsible for International business development, based in Paris; Maersk Line (world’s largest shipping company) as Area Manager, Far East and Middle East, based in Singapore. First-generation entrepreneur; has varied levels of involvement in companies covering multiple sectors and geographical span. Current: CEO Truckistan Technologies. Former commitments include: Co-Founder and MD TruckSher (a digital platform for Trucking); Founder and Chief Executive Officer, e2e, a supply chain and logistics company with offices in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Singapore; Founder and Chief Executive Officer, e2e Business Enterprise, a first of its kind manufacturing plant that produces the healthiest edible oil in the world (rice bran oil) from indigenous sources; Co-Founder and Member of the Board, Pakistan Terminal Operator and Tripkar.com, the former is the only ISO tank cleaning and repair station in Pakistan and the latter is one of the biggest travel portals in Pakistan. Nirvana Chaudhary

Managing Director, Chaudhary Group, Nepal

Nirvana Chaudhary, a versatile entrepreneur and philanthropist, stands as the Managing Director of CG Corp
Global, a multinational conglomerate valued at over $3 billion, with 136 companies and 76 brands in 30
countries. His entrepreneurial journey started at 19 with the founding of CG Finco.
A multifaceted personality, Nirvana is also a musician, a seasoned adventurer who has scaled Kilimanjaro and
trekked to Everest Base Camp, and a former member of Nepal's National Squash team. His engagement in
thought leadership is reflected through his podcast “Making It Bigger” and articles in notable business
magazines, coupled with frequent appearances at global leadership events.
As an author, Nirvana has penned “Araaya’s Fables,” a children's book focusing on moral values, and "Beyond
Wonder Woman," a work celebrating women's successes and advocating gender equality. In philanthropy, he
serves as the Vice Chair of the Chaudhary Foundation, contributing to disaster relief, education, and
healthcare, especially for children. His efforts have been recognized with prestigious awards like the YPO's
SEN Sustainability Award for Philanthropy and the President's Award for Social Contribution from Lions
Club International.
In the banking industry, Nirvana is the Vice Chair of Nabil Bank, Nepal, and Chairman of Union Bank, Sri
Lanka. His global business influence extends as Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Nepal Chapter, Vice
President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, and a member of various UN business advisory
groups. An alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School's Global Leadership Program, Nirvana has been
honored as one of Tatler's New Faces of Asia, Asia's most influential, and a Young Global Leader by the
World Economic Forum.
Nirvana's personal life is enriched by his wife Ashrayata and their two children, Araaya and Arhaan.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy

Chief Executive Officer, SOC Films, Pakistan

Bachelor’s degree, Smith College; two Master’s degrees, Stanford University. The only woman director to have been awarded two Academy Awards by the age of 37 and the first female director for a Star Wars film. Since 2001, has made over two dozen multi-award films in over 16 countries. Films include: “Student Athlete”, “Girl in the river”, “Song of Lahore”, “Saving Face”, “Peace Keepers” and “Transgenders: Pakistan’s Open Secret”. 2017, first artist to co-chair the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. Recipient of honours and awards, including: named in annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, Time Magazine (2012); awarded highest civil honour “Hilal -e–Imtiaz”, Pakistan Government (2012); Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Canadian Government, for work in the field of documentary films (2013); Crystal Award, World Economic Forum; Knight International Journalism Award, International Center for Journalists for work that led to legislative change (2017); Honorary Degree in Fine Arts, Smith College (2018).
