Caroline Malcolm

Vice-President, Global Public Policy, Chainalysis, United Kingdom

Caroline leads the public policy team at Chainalysis, drawing on their unique data analytics and tools to work with clients from the public and private sectors to understand developments in digital asset markets and their intersect with global regulatory trends and requirements.

Caroline was previously the founding Head of the OECD's Global Blockchain Policy Centre, from 2018 to 2021, working on a diverse range of blockchain-related policy issues, such as fintech, competition policy, data governance, and supply chain transparency. In 2019, she co-led the Financial Stability Board’s workstream on decentralised fintech, and also established the OECD’s Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board, bringing together more than 100 experts from across the world in government, industry, academia and civil society. In 2020, Caroline was named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum, and was a judge in the G20 techsprint hackathon. In 2022, she was a finalist in the Global Australian Awards.

Caroline's career began as a lawyer to the Australian government before she joined the OECD in 2010, to work on international tax transparency issues. She went on to set up the OECD-UNDP Tax Inspectors Without Borders initiative and then became the advisor to the OECD’s Head of Tax during the OECD/G20 BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) Project. During this time, Caroline became more interested in the impact of emerging technologies on policy frameworks and began the first global study of the tax treatment of digital assets.

Christian Mandl

Managing Partner, Neulogy Ventures, Slovakia

Christian Mandl co-founded SkyEurope, a Central European low-cost airline, which he managed until 2007 as Chief Executive Officer. He took SkyEurope public on the Vienna and Warsaw stock exchanges in 2005 before exiting his investment in 2007. In 2009, Mandl took over the assets of Maporama, a leading French provider of digital mapping solutions for professional users. He restructured the company and sold it in March 2013 to TIBCO Software, a NASDAQ-listed company. In 2013, Mandl co-founded Neulogy Ventures, a venture capital fund that provides both funding and mentoring to young entrepreneurs in Slovakia. Most recently, Mandl founded Govio, a social entrepreneurship project aiming at improving democratic processes and public services through the use of technology.

Aaron Maniam

Policy researcher and digital transformation programme lead, Blavatnik School of Government; former Singapore government official, having served in the Foreign Service, the Prime Minister's Office Centre for Strategic Futures, the Institute for Public Sector Leadership at the Civil Service College, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. 2014, Masters (Hons) in Public Policy and Doctorate degree in Digital Government, Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University. Adjunct Faculty: National University of Singapore's Scholars' Programme; Singapore Management University School of Social Sciences. Former: Member, Advisory Panel, National Youth Council Academy; President, Mendaki Club, a group of young Muslim professionals; Chairman, Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) Youth Club. Sanna Marin

Strategic Counselor, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, United Kingdom

The first in her family to attend university, Sanna Marin became the youngest Prime Minister in Finnish history and the world’s youngest female state leader. She has encouraged new approaches to the future of work, social services and gender equity in her country and the world.

Eva McLellan

General Manager, Roche Slovenia, Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Switzerland

Eva McLellan is a purpose-driven transformational leader with nearly 20 years of global business leadership and management experience in biotechnology. Recognized as a forward-thinking strategist, she has dedicated her career to driving positive change in healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes. Having held senior global strategy and country leadership roles in Canada, Switzerland and BeLux, McLellan has also led significant strategic projects in emerging markets. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a proven ability to build and lead teams that foster innovation, reshaping access to and the delivery of care in diverse areas such as early pipeline, infectious disease, oncology, haematology, rare diseases and digital health. As General Manager of Roche Pharma, McLellan’s external focus is on forging strong partnerships and scaling innovative approaches to shape health systems, enhance care and ensure equitable, sustainable access to innovation. In addition to her executive role, she actively contributes to the strategic direction of the industry, serving on the boards of the Bled Institute for Leadership in Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (as Co-Chair), and the American Chamber of Commerce (as a member). Her commitment to advancing women in healthcare is evident from her past role as a regional council board member of the Healthcare Business Women's Association (HBA) in Europe in 2019. In 2021, McLellan co-founded Unlocking Eve, a global foundation in collaboration with Kaye Vitug. The foundation's mission is to unlock 100 million integrated leaders and foster a community of action (thinker-doers) to drive meaningful progress on Sustainable Development Goals #3 and #5. This initiative also involves pioneering research on new leadership models essential for achieving these goals. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of INSEAD Business School’s Executive Management Program.

Sonia Medina

Executive Director, Climate Change, Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Switzerland

Seasoned professional in the field of climate change, energy transition and philanthropy. Currently lead climate programme at Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, largest private foundation focused on children and climate.

Formerly: worked on climate change and energy issues, United Nations Environment Programme, Paris; with EcoSecurities, one of the largest carbon offset project developers in the world, from its start-up phase through to its acquisition by J.P. Morgan & Chase in early 2010, as Global Head of Origination, then US Country Director; chief operating officer of a start-up developing high-quality biomass supply chains deriving from existing plantations in West Africa.

Amit Mehra

Managing Director; Global Lead, Sustainability Services, Strategic Clients, Accenture, United Kingdom

Amit is Managing Director and Global Lead - Sustainability Services for Strategic Clients and Commercial Growth at Accenture where he is responsible for growing the sustainability services business at the firm’s top global accounts, embedding sustainability in large transformational deals, and driving select strategic partnerships in sustainability. Amit is a member of the global leadership team tasked with building the end-to-end sustainability services business at Accenture, spanning strategy through execution. Earlier, he advised Accenture's clients and architected new capabilities for driving growth, continuous innovation, and business performance primarily in the Media, EdTech, Food and AgTech sectors, focusing on the CEO and the Board agenda. Previously, Amit was the founder, CEO and Board Director of RML AgTech/Reuters Market Light (later split into FarmBee and other businesses), a globally awarded mobile-led content and commerce business serving farmers, agri enterprises and financial institutions. Amit founded the business in Thomson Reuters, UK and later spun it off raising VC funding and ran it as CEO till it scaled to millions of users, multiple multi-lingual digital products, and B2C and B2B revenue streams. Before founding RML, he held various strategy, operational and investment roles in Reuters, UK, and was also the founding advisor at London Business School to help set up the Wheeler Institute for Business and Development. A Young Global Leader (YGL) alumnus at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Amit also sits on WEF's Global Future Council (GFC) on Clean Air. Amit graduated from SRCC, India, did his MBA from London Business School, and has attended YGL Modules on Global Leadership, Public Policy, and Energy Transition at Harvard and Princeton Universities.

Malini Mehra

Philip Meissner

Founder and Director, European Center for Digital Competitiveness, Germany

Philip Meissner is Founder and Director of the European Center for Digital Competitiveness, which aims to inspire public debate on the opportunities of digital technologies for solving big societal challenges such as the climate crisis and demographic change. The center also develops solutions for these challenges focusing on the areas of artificial intelligence, green tech and digital democracy.

In addition, Meissner is Chair of Strategic Management and Decision Making at ESCP Business School in Berlin. His research combines the fields of strategy, technology and psychology to create new approaches for AI-based decision-making in organizations.

He regularly gives key notes on artificial intelligence, decision-making and digital transformation, advises companies on future technologies, and is a sought-after expert in national and international media. He was recognized among the 40 under 40 by Capital and the Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum.

Antónia Mészáros

Executive Director, Hungary, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Hungary

Former: journalist, TV presenter, author and documentary film maker; host of live current affairs interview shows for 10 years on independent news channel ATV and public broadcaster MTV in Budapest, Hungary. Until 2006, worked for the BBC in London, in news, current affairs and documentaries, primarily on the strand Panorama. Experience in investigative journalism, video journalism, war reporting and filming in hostile environments. Continued making documentaries for the BBC on a freelance basis while anchoring flagship TV shows in Hungary. Currently, Executive Director, UNICEF Hungary. Author of a book on migration from Eastern Europe to the European Union (2006).

H.R.H. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

Crown Princess of Norway, The Royal Court, Norway

Master's in Management, BI Norwegian Business School; studies in Development Issues, School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Dedicated to youth health and youth empowerment nationally and internationally. 2006, appointed Special Representative for UNAIDS. 2008, invited by UNAIDS to participate in strategic planning of the future AIDS response, and also focused on HIV/AIDS at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. 2015, co-founded the Maverick Collective with Kate Roberts (Senior Vice-President, Population Services International); Melinda Gates joined as co-chair. The Maverick Collective aims to engage other women to use their voice, intellectual and financial resources, to improve women's health worldwide and help end extreme poverty. Involved with developing and supporting new models of health interventions to address the most critical health issues for youth, specifically for girls. Ambarish Mitra

Co-Founder, Greyparrot, United Kingdom

Ambarish Mitra is a serial entrepreneur and investor in AI, AR, Food tech and Genomics. Ambarish is the Founder of Blippar, a leading technology company specializing in augmented reality, artificial intelligence and computer vision. Under Mitra’s direction, Blippar has grown from a groundbreaking idea to an industry leader with offices in the UK, US and India and was listed 3 years in a row in CNBC’s list of most disruptive companies in the world.

Ambarish is also the co-Founder of Greyparrot, an AI / Deep Learning startup focused on waste management and recycling using computer vision to sort waste at scale and fulfil many of key SDGs- UN sustainable development goals. Ambarish started his tech career in 1997 as a high school drop-out teenager creating a web portal towards women empowerment.

With a vision to bridge the physical and digital worlds and give people more from the world they see through AR and Computer Vision, Ambarish has been widely recognized for his pioneering work in the field of Augmented Reality. Mitra was named by Ernst & Young as UK Entrepreneur of the Year for 2016, and was appointed as an Ambassador for the GREAT Britain campaign to promote British innovation around the world. Mitra was also recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2017. He was also announced at Technology Pioneer by WEF in 2021 for Greyparrot.

Ambarish has given many keynotes on pioneering innovations and entrepreneurship at esteemed institutes and events including, TED Talk, World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, Web Summit, Mobile World Congress, CES, DLD, SXSW, Recode Media, TechCrunch Disrupt, GMIC China, Harvard Business School and Oxford University, inspiring many young entrepreneurs, students, and business community with his talks.
