Stephan Morais is the founder and Managing General Partner of Indico Capital Partners (www.indicocapital.com), a leading venture capital firm based Portugal. Indico focuses on software as a service, artificial intelligence, internet of things, fintech, cybersecurity, blockchain and blue economy companies, targeting investments at Pre-Seed to Series B level. Founded in 2017, the team at Indico were previously behind the majority of the Portuguese global tech success stories, as investors and entrepreneurs.

Stephan was formerly an Executive Board Member at Caixa Capital, the Private Equity and Venture Capital fund management company, where he led the most relevant international investment rounds of Portuguese technology companies. He has been a Non-Executive Director and Independent Board Advisor in numerous companies.

With a diversified background as an investment banker, consultant, entrepreneur and CEO, he has lived in 8 countries and 4 continents over the last 24 years. He is also a former Advisor to the European Commissioner of Science and Innovation, Past Chairman of the European Venture Finance Network and Past Board Member of the European Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and Board Member of the International Venture Club. He is an Entrepreneurship Expert with the Entrepreneurship Center at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and an Advisory Board Member at AMROP, Executive Search.

Appointed as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010, and Member of their Digital Leaders of Europe Community, he holds a degree in Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon), and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Angela Morelli is co-founder and CEO of Infodesignlab a socially-conscious information design firm that work with scientists to turn complex data into unique visualisations, meaningful narratives, compelling messages and stunning communication products. She has spent the last 18 years providing bespoke information design support to scientific organisations such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the European Environment Agency, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Center for Climate Research in Norway and the World Meteorological Organization, making scientific knowledge effective and accessible to wider audiences across many platforms. She uses Design as a strategic problem-solving process. Design enhances our understanding of any content by allowing us to map out interconnections, facilitate dialogues among scientists, build bridges between data experts and the audience, and involve key stakeholders. The impact of InfoDesignLab's work has been formally acknowledged by listing her as drafting author of the summaries for policymakers of three IPCC reports in the 6th assessment cycle.

Angela gained her MA in Information Design from Central Saint Martins in London, having previously obtained a BA degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MA in Industrial Design. She is an acclaimed international speaker and has regularly taught at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, at the Oslo MET University, BI Norwegian Business School and at Central Saint Martins University in London. She has been jury member of the International Institute of Information Design Award and was awarded the Il Monito del Giardino Award in 2013 along with philanthropist Paul Polak, primatologist Jane Goodall, water scientist Tony Allan and other individuals committed to defending planetary ecosystems.

Denis Morozov joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a President for Russia in July 2018.
Before that, for more than seven years Denis was representing Russian Federation, Belarus and Tajikistan at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London where he was a Board Member and an Executive Director.
Prior, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Uralkali, World’s largest potash producer.
In 1999, Morozov joined Norilsk Nickel, Russia's largest metals and mining company, holding various senior executive positions and being responsible for a number of large restructuring projects before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer.
In the beginning of his carrier, from 1992 to 1999, he worked for Ingosstrakh, Alfa-Bank and the International Financial Company.
Denis has a BA in Economics and JD from Moscow State University, MA in Public Administration from Columbia University and a PhD in Economics from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations. He also completed an Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

Zhivko Mukaetov heads Alkaloid AD Skopje, Macedonia’s largest pharmaceutical company. Dr. Orzala Nemat, an internationally known Afghan activist and scholar is an expert in political ethnography, holding a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and MSc in Development Planning from the University College London (UCL). Dr. Nemat experienced how it is to be a war refugee for fourteen years in Pakistan. However, she chose to rise above the situation by putting the focus on developing her career, at the same time, she assisted and helped the marginalized members of society through educational programs, building schools, protection of female victims of violence and peacebuilding for children.

Dr. Nemat founded an organisation, led and worked with various grassroots, national and international organizations in over 17 years of her professional life. She served on various development organizations’ governance boards and attended numerous international and national conferences representing voices from Afghanistan and the Afghan women. She was selected as a Young Global Leader at the World Forum in 2009, Yale Greenberg World Fellows in 2008 and is a recipient of the Isabel Ferror Award for Women’s Education and the Amnesty International Award for Humanitarian Aid to Children and Women. Upon completion of her studies and after teaching international development courses at SOAS, Dr. Nemat returned to Kabul where she worked as the president’s advisor on sub-national governance.
Following the return of Taliban regime in power in Afghanistan in 2021, Dr Nemat moved to the UK where she is currently based and leads her new social enterprise known as the Development Research Group LTD (DRG).

John Nevado is President of Nevado Roses. He transformed his family rose business in Ecuador by increasing employment four-fold. Nevado Roses has been certified by most environmental certificates worldwide, making the company the most sustainable rose plantation on the planet. Nevado Roses now produces in excess of 50 million roses per year and is in the process of converting to organic production. Nevado’s past experience includes working at NATO headquarters and at the European Commission. He is the Founder of several computer security companies and a Board Member of many non-profit organizations, including Faces of AIDS, a project that employs young correspondents around the globe to document and present the global HIV/AIDS epidemic.
