Cham Krasna

Chief Executive Officer, SOMA Group, Cambodia

Krasna Cham is the first female Chief Executive Officer of the Soma Group, believing private sector to be an effective means to influence development in Cambodia and acting as an active proponent of gender equality and female leadership in the corporate sector of ASEAN. She represents a new generation of leadership in Cambodia and is outspoken on female representation in the corporate world. As CEO of one of Cambodia’s leading locally owned companies, Krasna manages the corporate direction and strategy of the group aiming at high impact sector toward the development of Cambodia.

Juliana Chan

Adjunct Associate Professor of Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore, Singapore

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Wildtype Media Group, Asia's leading STEM-focused media company, spanning digital, print, custom publishing and events. BA and MA in Natural Sciences, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom; PhD in Biology and postdoctoral research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Recipient of honours and awards, including: L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science National Fellowship; 2013 Singapore Youth Award; 2014 MIT Technology Review's 10 Innovators Under 35 (Asia). Her research work into drug delivery and nanomedicine has been featured by the BBC, MIT Technology Review and South China Morning Post. Subhashini (Shuba) Chandran

Vice-President, Social Impact, Asia-Pacific, Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, Singapore

Subhashini is responsible for overseeing, executing, and scaling the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth’s philanthropic and social impact strategy and activities across the Asia Pacific, contributing to regional and global objectives. The Center's work spans programs, data and insights, strategic engagement, and partnerships.

Inspired by environmental causes and philanthropic entrepreneurs, Subhashini has been a tireless catalyst for sustainable development, D&I and the economic empowerment of women in her native India (and beyond). An influencer with global contacts, she has a record of rallying governments and mobilising corporate leaders to invest time, energy and finances to transform the lives of thousands of families, workers & communities. A successful entrepreneur, her notable achievements include developing pioneering programs to help female entrepreneurs flourish as well as freeing many thousands of women from debt, lending traps & sustained poverty.

Subhashini is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and graduate of the Yale World Fellows and Chevening Gurukul Fellow for Leadership and Excellence programs.

Serene Chen

Serene is Global Co-Head of Deutsche Bank Emerging Markets, runs Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) in Asia Pacific across corporations and institutions, and additionally co-heads Structuring in Asia Pacific. She sits on the board of Deutsche Bank International (Asia) Limited.

Serene was previously Head of Risk Management Solutions for APAC, and prior to that led Deutsche Bank’s Cross Border and Treasury Solutions for Asia, leading cross border risk solutions and driving technology innovation in the region. Over the years, she has been instrumental in developing Deutsche Bank’s business across APAC and in emerging markets, including pioneering the bank’s offshore yuan business.

Serene joined Deutsche Bank 18 years ago as a graduate from The University of Chicago with a double degree in Economics and Statistics, and from Harvard Kennedy School and University of Oxford Saïd Business School executive programmes. She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2019.

Calvin Cheng

Honorary Consul, Head of Diplomatic Mission, Singapore

Calvin Cheng is currently Honorary Consul and Head of Diplomatic Mission, of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Singapore. He is the first Honorary Consul of Serbia to be appointed in Singapore, since the commencement of diplomatic relations between the two countries. In 2010, Calvin founded Jue Rui Bao Si, a training company in China that trained some of the leading companies in China in soft skills. In August 2015, Calvin merged his company, and a PRC online corporate training company Rui Tai (Retech), to form Retech Technology Co in Hong Kong, which he then led to an IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange in June 2017. It was the largest technology IPO in Australia in 2017. Following the IPO, Calvin became a non-executive,independent director (CoChairman) of the company. He served in this role from July 2017 to June 2023. Previously, Calvin was the co-founder of Lumina-Looque International, an integrated media company with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and China, which owns event companies, model agencies and a publishing company. Calvin was also the Asia-Pacific Head of Elite Model Management, the world’s largest modelling agency. He is now an independent investor in technology, media and entertainment, especially in Ed-tech, Blockchain and Fin-tech. In the last 3 years he has successfully invested and divested from a leading Singaporean blockchain solutions company, and a Chinese online brokerage. Calvin was issued one of the first 25 virtual asset licenses in Dubai, alongside global virtual asset companies like Binance and Okex. This was followed by another of his companies being granted membership of VQF, the oldest FINMA-recognised self-regulatory body in Switzerland. Calvin was an appointed Member of Parliament of Singapore in the Eleventh Parliament. He has also served on various Ministerial advisory boards including the Media Literacy Council, the Singapore Media Festival, Screen Singapore and the Government Feedback REACH supervisory council. Calvin graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and a Master of Science in Management. Calvin is also a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum at Davos.

Ming Yu Cheng

Director, Institute of Management and Leadership Development, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia

Cheng Ming Yu is the Director of the Institute of Management and Leadership Development (IMLD), Chairperson of the Belt and Road Strategic Research Centre and Professor of Economics at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia. She works on projects related to economic development, particularly on social capital, globalization and human capital development as well as competitiveness studies. Cheng has been a Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowship (JSPS), a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Washington State University, USA, a Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, and Visiting Professor at National Taiwan University. She is one of the principal investigators for the World Value Survey (WVS) in Malaysia, a Member of the DAAD Alumni Association, one of the BMW Foundation Young Leaders, Executive Secretary of ABEST21 Japan and an alumna of the “Building a Better Asia-Young Leaders Retreat” organized by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Japan. Cheng is also the Founding Curator of the Kuala Lumpur Hub of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community.

Chew-Seow Chien

Partner, Bain & Company SE Asia Inc, Singapore

BA in Economics and MPhil (Hons) in Finance, Cambridge University; MBA, Harvard Business School. Since 1995, with Bain & Company: since 2007, current position; worked with global consumer products companies and clients in technology, financial services, retail, private equity and heavy industries sectors; experience in US and Asia including corporate portfolio strategy, full potential growth strategy, acquisition screening and due diligence, post merger integration, supply chain management.

Francesca Chia

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, GoGet, Malaysia

Francesca Chia is the Co-Founder and CEO of GoGet, an on demand workforce technology platform that connects businesses to trust and reliable part timers, called ‘GoGetters’. Francesca is pushing boundaries in the technology industry and the traditional labour market of Malaysia. She brings with her insights on the future of work, how businesses will adjust models to suit new labour requirements and how empowerment is possible through technology innovation. Francesca graduated with a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and was inspired by social enterprises because they redefined traditional ways of doing business and running a non-profit. Prior to launching GoGet, Francesca was a Management Consultant in The Boston Consulting Group for 4 years. GoGet was also invited as a one of the selected ASEAN start up to speak in the World Economic Forum, Hanoi 2018 to discuss the Future of Work. Francesca is also an Alibaba eFounders Fellow from the program jointly created between Alibaba and UNCTAD. Most recently, Francesca was invited to speak at a summit in conjunction with United Nations General Assembly 2019 about the platform and how it is specifically addressing the Sustainable Development Goal #8: To promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive.

Cassandra Chiu

Founder and Psychotherapist, The Safe Harbour Counselling Centre, Singapore

Master's in Social Science, Swinburne University of Technology. Social advocate for greater accessibility for the blind. Blogs exploits and challenges with guide dog on Facebook. Aspires to change what it means to be blind for the society. Runs a psychotherapeutic practice. Work encompasses assistive technology needs assessment/coaching; rehabilitative psychotherapy; and rehabilitative remodelling for business/domestic environments. Co-Author of two papers, Accessible Pedestrian Environment and Accessible Pedestrian Signals, for submission to the Land Transport Authority. Recipient of awards: Singapore Woman Award (2012); Social Innovation Park Fellow (2012).

Veronica Colondam

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, YCAB Foundation, Indonesia

Veronica Colondam champions the field of social entrepreneurship in Indonesia with the establishment of YCAB Foundation in 1999. YCAB Foundation is the founding and flagship organisation in the YCAB social enterprise group which bases its operations on a mutually reinforcing and financially sustainable social change model. YCAB’s mission is to improve welfare through education and inclusive financing impacting the lives of four million underprivileged youth through education and half a million women micro entrepreneurs through inclusive financing where education of their children is made the precondition to loan.

YCAB is among the few organisations in Asia to receive the General Consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC & ranks #32 of Top 100 SPO/NGO in the World by a Geneva-based NGO Advisor (January 2020). Veronica is also an independent commissioner of the largest state-owned microfinance company (PNM) with 7 million active customers.

Double degree in communications and public relations, obtained her MSc. in social science from Imperial College London. Alumni of special postgraduate education for WEF’s Young Global Leader in HKS, 2009 & Yale, 2013; Social Entrepreneurship (INSEAD, 2010); Impact Investing (Oxford, 2012).

A published author and speaker; recipient of two United Nation awards (Vienna, 2001 & New York, 2017); YGL (2006); Fellow of Asia21 Young Leader (2007); EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2011); Schwab’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2012); Forbes' 48 Asian Philanthropist (2015).

Married with three grown children. Veronica enjoys traveling as part of her dedication to give back and inspire the next gen through lectures, coaching & mentorship.

Clarissa Delgado

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Teach For the Philippines, Philippines

Clarissa Isabelle Liboro Delgado is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Teach for the Philippines. She began her career with research and impact measurement, managing a Randomized Control Trial for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL) on Teach for the Philippines’ predecessor organization, Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation. It was from the results of this survey that Teach for the Philippines was born. Delgado received an MA in Educational Administration from Ateneo de Manila University and a BA from the College of William & Mary. She is an inaugural 2018 Obama Foundation Fellow and a member of the Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOWN), Ten Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS), Ramon V. Del Rosario Siklab, and Asia Society Asia 21 Young Leader networks.
