Tamás Landesz

Director, Administration and Finance, World Health Organization (WHO), Philippines

Dr Tamás Landesz is Director, Administration and Finance at the World Health Organization, Western Pacific Region (WPRO) based in Manila. He has been with WHO for the past 10 years, serving in a similar functions in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRO) based in Cairo, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) based in Lyon. During his 30+ year professional career, Dr Landesz worked across five continents with multiple international organizations, including the United Nations system and the European Union. Dr Landesz started his career as a management consultant, providing strategic advise to companies interested in Eastern Europe, during the transition from centrally planned to market economies. Dr Landesz is a regular lecturer and keynote speaker. Landesz holds a PhD from Paris, an MPA from Harvard University, an MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and an MBA from Vienna. His latest book published in 2023 is titled “Future Intelligence - The World in 2050: Enabling Governments, Businesses and Innovators to Create a Better Future” (Springer). His latest TEDx talk available on Youtube is titled “How to become a future intelligent leader – in 5 easy steps”.

Natasha Latiff

Founder and Legal Director, Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights Inc, Singapore

Natasha Latiff is a highly regarded international human rights lawyer known for her work in Afghanistan and beyond. She has made significant contributions through the establishment of two acclaimed non-profit organizations: Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights (SAHR) in 2008; and Women for Justice in 2018. She is also Founder of Fair Future, a Singapore-based enterprise with a mission to combat modern slavery practices in the supply chain by focusing on the "human" in corporate human rights due diligence processes and response. Latiff’s remarkable work has led to transformative changes in law and policy on human rights and access to remedy. She advises and trains lawyers and organizations on international human rights norms and standards. Her efforts have resulted in securing remedies for affected communities and fostering meaningful dialogue between victims, governments and companies. Latiff’s impactful initiatives have left a lasting mark on the lives of countless individuals. She holds a Master of Law degree with Distinction from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.

Yashovardhan Lohia

Executive Director and Chief Sustainability Officer, Indorama Ventures, Thailand

Yashovardhan Lohia started his career at Indorama Ventures in the Packaging Division, overseeing the company's operations across seven countries. Since 2018, he has also helped guide the fibres business, which is a strong growth area for the company. Lohia was appointed Executive Director of the Board of Directors in 2019 and is a member of the Sustainability and Risk Management Committee. He was also Chief Recycling Officer and later appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer. In this position, he plays an important role to define Indorama Ventures’ path to sustainability.

Lynn Loo

Chief Executive Officer, Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD), Singapore

I am the inaugural CEO of the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation. Founded in August 2021, GCMD is a non-profit organisation whose singular mission is to help international shipping eliminate its GHG emissions by (a) shaping the standards for future fuels; (b) piloting low-carbon solutions at or near commercial operations conditions; (c) co-finance first-of-a-kind projects; (d) foster collaboration across sectors. I am also the Theodora D. ’78 & William H. Walton III ’74 Professor in Engineering at Princeton University where I lead a team of researchers to develop emerging solar cell technologies based on hybrid and inorganic perovskites. And I co-founded Andluca Technologies, a startup that is developing wireless smart glass to reduce energy use and increase occupant comfort in built environments.

Jeffrey Lu

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Engine Biosciences Pte Ltd, Singapore

Jeff Lu is CEO and Co-Founder of Engine Biosciences, which discovers and develops new precision medicines based on novel biology uncovered by its platform integrating next-generation CRISPR screening, machine learning, and drug discovery chemistry. Engine Bio identifies patient subpopulations defined by specific genetic mutations sensitizing cancers to certain drugs, and the company is advancing its pipeline of oncology therapeutics and biomarkers. Engine Bio is backed by US$80M in funding from blue chip investors across US and Asia.

Jeff is passionate about generating impact from new technology, data, and biotechnology. He serves as a co-founder of NSG Ventures, a biotech venture capital and venture building firm. He has helped build several companies through significant value creation, financings, and exits, including Enleofen (acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim), AAE (acquired by Expedia), PairX Bio, GDMC, and others. Earlier in his career, he led corporate and commercial strategy and data analytics at AirAsia and was a consultant at Bain & Company.

Kevin Lu

Chairman, Asia, Partners Group, Singapore

Dr. Kevin Lu is a Partner and Chairman of Asia at Partners Group, a global private equity firm with $142 billion AUM. He chairs the Impact Committee of PG LIFE, the firm’s $500 million sustainability fund. He is a member of Partners Group's Global Executive Board and heads up the firm's Singapore office with 320 staff. Prior to Partners Group, Kevin held senior management positions at the World Bank Group, including as the Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank Group’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Kevin is currently an Adjunct Professor at Yale-NUS, a Distinguished Fellow at INSEAD and a Senior Fellow at Milken Institute. He serves on the advisory boards of the World Bank's Global Infrastructure Facility and International Finance Corporation's Impact Management Principles, Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Advisory Panel, the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Investing, and the Steering Council of the UN Institutional Investor Partnership for Sustainable Development. He co-authored a book "Investing with Confidence: Understanding Political Risk Management in the 21st Century". He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010, and a Future Leader by the Institute of International Finance in 2014. Kevin has published commentaries in the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Washington Post, Financial Times, and the Straits Times.
