Alexander de Carvalho

Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Public Group International, United Kingdom

Alexander is the Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of PUBLIC, a venture firm he set up to help solve some the biggest technology problems across the public sector. PUBLIC is one of the biggest investors in GovTech companies in Europe across important sectors including Health, Social Care, Security, Policing and Welfare. Alexander is also the Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of The GovTech Summit. Prior to founding PUBLIC, Alexander worked for almost 10 years in private equity before spending several years building and supporting a number startups in the UK. Alexander has been a non-executive member of the board of Heineken Holding NV since 2013 and is involved in a number of philanthropic activities.

Anne-Laure de Chammard

Member of the Group Executive Board and Executive Vice-President, Siemens Energy, Germany

Anne-Laure de Chammard is a member of the Group Executive Board of Siemens Energy. As Group EVP, she heads one of the Group's 4 global divisions, the "Transformation of Industry" global business area, supporting industries throughout their energy transition. She is also responsible transversally for the Asia Pacific and China Regions.

Siemens Energy employs around 91,000 people worldwide in more than 90 countries and generates sales of around €29 billion. The Group is listed on the DAX40 and is one of the world's leading energy technology companies and a global market leader in renewable energy. An estimated one-sixth of the world's electricity is generated using Siemens Energy technologies.

Before joining Siemens Energy, Anne-Laure de Chammard was CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International (€4 billion turnover, 20,000 employees, in over 20 countries, in Europe, Americas, Middle East, and Asia Pacific), in charge of decarbonization of industries and territories through energy efficiency services and low-carbon energy production.

Anne-Laure started her career in the USA, as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
She then joined the French Ministry of Energy and Environment in 2010, where she was leading major infrastructure public private partnership projects (motorways, high-speed railways, hydroelectric dams, offshore wind farms, etc.).
In 2014, she joined Bureau Veritas Group, global leader in conformity services for Industry, Infrastructure and Commodities, as Regional Managing Director, before being promoted President and CEO of Bureau Veritas Construction.
She joined ENGIE in 2019 as Group Chief Strategy, Research & Technology and Innovation Officer to head the group’s strategy in its zero-carbon transition. She was appointed CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International in 2021.

Member of the French “Corps des Ponts”, Anne-Laure de Chammard holds Master's degrees of Science and Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (X) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chaussées, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University (Kennedy School).

Anne-Laure sits in several supervisory boards in France and abroad. She was ranked 2nd top French economic leader under 40 (Figaro-Choiseul 100).

Florian DELMAS

Chairman, Andros & Cie, France

Florian Delmas joined Andros straight after finishing his degree in agri-food engineering. A fast learner, Florian rose quickly through the ranks. He was named Director of R&D in 2011 and promoted to Director of Industrial Products, Sourcing, and Primary Processing three years later. After cementing his understanding and competencies with an MBA at the prestigious HEC business school in 2016, Florian took the post of CEO of Andros France, spearheading the implementation of an ambitious development strategy. Two years later, in June 2018, he was named CEO of the Andros Group. In 2022, Florian will be appointed Chairman and CEO of the famous 3 billion Euro global food company. Heavily involved in changing the rules of his industry via the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, Florian published a book in 2021 called "Planète A, Plan B," which describes a new global and optimistic way of building a better world. He is also committed to inventing new Leadership approaches.

FX de Mallmann

Chairman, Investment Banking Division, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, United Kingdom

FX (Francois-Xavier) de Mallmann is Chairman of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. He has worked with Goldman Sachs International since 1993 in a number of senior roles, including as Chief Operating Officer, Global Investment Banking Division, based in New York (2007-2008); Head of the European Financing Group and Capital Markets businesses in EMEA (2009 to 2011); Global Co-Head of the Consumer Retail Group (2014-2017) and Head of Investment Banking, Switzerland. He has been a partner in the firm since 2004. He is a Member of the European Management Committee at Goldman Sachs and is a Member of the Firmwide Commitments and Investment Banking Operating committees. He sits on the Board of the International Rescue Committee. FX graduated from Hochschule St Gallen and the Community of European Management Schools in 1992.

Rajeeb Dey

1st Class Hons in Economics and Management, University of Oxford. Learnerbly partners with 100+ global employers to upskill and fuel employee performance and to create a culture of learning where employees are empowered to own their professional development. Previously Founder of Enternships.com, connecting talent 7000+ start-ups and innovative firms and co-founder of StartUp Britain, a national entrepreneurship campaign launched by the Prime Minister in 2011. Rajeeb was named one of 1000 Most Influential People in London by The Evening Standard; recipient of the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion, by Her Majesty (2013) & appointed Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2016.

Eva Dichand

Editor, Heute, Austria

Eva Dichand is the publisher of Heute, an Austrian freesheet newspaper with 506,000 copies daily. Heute was founded in 2004 and is today Austria's strongest growing newspaper and, even in the economic crisis, a huge business success. Previously, Dichand worked for UnternehmensInvest, Austria's leading stock listed private equity fund. Dichand graduated from the Economic University of Vienna. Beside Heute, which is run totally separately and on its own, the family owns 50% of Austria's largest Mediagroup Mediaprint (Kronen Zeitung, kroneradio, Kurier).

Miroslava Duma

Founder, Pangaia Limited, Switzerland

Miroslava Duma is the founder of several innovative ventures, digital entrepreneur, philanthropist and active investor across a range of promising businesses including materials science, biotechnology, food-as-the-medicine technology and responsible fashion.
Born on the 10th of March, 1985, to a Ukrainian father and Jewish-Ukrainian mother in Siberia, she spent her childhood years between Switzerland and other parts of Europe. In the past 15 years, she has spent most of her professional time between Europe, the UK and the US. She has also travelled to research labs and institutions across the globe building and developing scientific partnerships with scientists, researchers and biotechnology pioneers predominantly in Italy, Japan, South Korea, the UK and the US, connecting them with companies across multiple industries to bring their problem-solving technologies to market.
Through her professional activities she has also been actively involved in philanthropic engagements serving on the board of Stanford Philanthropy And Civil Society, advocating for the UN SDGs, participating in COP26, supporting biodiversity conservation efforts across the world as well as Doctors without Borders and Save the Children.

Niall Dunne

Chief Executive Officer, polymateria, United Kingdom

Niall joined Polymateria as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018 to tackle the global crisis of plastic waste and lead the company on its mission of advancing science to help nature deal with plastic pollution.

Upon his appointment Niall announced an ambition to “redesign the rules of an entire industry” and create the Tesla of plastics.

Polymateria has a diverse range of partnerships such as some of the biggest chemical companies in the world Clariant (now Avient) and Indorama Ventures as well as the Government of India and the all-electric off-road racing series, Extreme E and the actor/activist Robin Wright. The company is also proud to be a founding signatory of HRH The Prince of Wales’ Terra Carta (Earth Charter) established under the Sustainable Markets Initiative.

Niall is also on the Sustainability Board of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)
since June 2019. UKRI brings together the seven Research Councils within the UK, & has a combined budget of more than £7 billion, funding pioneering research and innovation across the planet.

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Niall has worked on WEF’s Global Agenda Councils on Sustainable Consumption and Climate Change where he has launched and led initiatives such as Collectively.org and 100percentsport.org. These initiatives have unified some of the largest businesses and NGOs in the world behind systems level transformations seeking to tackle some of the biggest issues we are facing.

Previously Niall has worked in senior leadership roles in BT, Accenture and Saatchi & Saatchi.

A keen athlete since his youth, Niall represented Ireland internationally as an 800m runner.

John Dutton

Head, Uplink; Member of the Executive Committee, World Economic Forum, Switzerland

John Dutton is Head of UpLink and Member of the Executive Committee for the World Economic Forum. Previously John also served as the Head of the Forum Foundations and Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, also at the Forum. Prior to joining Forum, he was the Small Funds Initiative Coordinator for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and has also spent several years as a French Teacher at the Trinity Pawling School. John has earned an MBA with a specialization in International Organizations from the University of Geneva and completed his undergraduate studies at Kenyon College with a BA in Economics. John also enjoys spending time with his wife Tania, son Timeo and daughter Lea in the nearby Alps skiing and hiking and plays competitive Football in the local leagues.

Esra Eczacıbaşı Coşkun

Member of the Board of Directors and Group Digital Transformation Coordinator, Eczacıbaşı Holding, Türkiye

Esra Eczacibasi Coskun is a Board Member and Digital Transformation Coordinator at Eczacibasi Holding, a diversified industrial conglomerate based in Turkey. The Eczacibasi Group plays a pioneering role in both Turkish industry and society through major initiatives in education, culture and the arts, sports, public policy and scientific research. Esra leads the Group’s digital transformation as well as the design and implementation of sustainability policies across different industries and geographies. The digital transformation projects she has spearheaded have received international recognition and awards from institutions such as Fast Company, IDC, RFID Journal and SAP. A strong advocate for equal opportunity, she is a mentor and advisor to young women who want to pursue a career in technology. She gives regular talks on gender biases, inclusivity in the workplace as well as the future that awaits us in the digital age. Esra is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Istanbul Modern, Turkey's first museum of modern and contemporary art. With a passion for the arts and desire to support culture and arts in Turkey, she established the Genc (Young) Modern, Turkey’s first arts membership program for a young audience. As an affiliate of Istanbul Modern, Genc Modern’s mission is to increase the visibility of talented Turkish artists at the start of their careers and create opportunities for them in the contemporary art world. Esra holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics and Art History from Harvard University. She previously worked at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Petra Ehmann

Group Chief Innovation and AI Officer, Ringier, Switzerland

Petra Ehmann is the Group Chief Innovation and AI Officer of the global media technology company Ringier. She ranks among the youngest board members in Switzerland. At Ringier her responsibility is to bring AI and innovation into all group companies. Ehmann worked at Google for almost nine years in international roles. Her last position was global lead of augmented reality product partnerships. Ehmann joined the board of directors of Bossard, a publicly listed technology company, at 35. In order to get young people enthused in STEM fields, she joined the Technorama Foundation as a member of the board of trustees in 2020. She advocates for more diversity in the tech industry as an Advisory Board Member at We Shape Tech and Ringier's EqualVoice initiative, which aims to improve the visibility of women in media. Her dedication and contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including Switzerland’s Top 100 Women in Business, Top 100 Digital Shapers (Hall of Fame) as well as top 25 millennials in Europe who shape society

Ehmann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich and a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. She was raised in Bolivia and has lived, studied and worked in four continents. She is fluent in four languages.

Hassan El Houry

Chairman, Menzies Aviation Inc., United Kingdom

A global executive with experience leading teams on six continents, I currently serve as full-time Board Chair of Menzies Aviation – the world’s largest aviation services company. I spearheaded the acquisition of Menzies by Agility, and its integration with National Aviation Services (NAS). I led NAS for more than 10 years and grew the company into the leading airport ground handling and cargo company in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia, from our base in Kuwait.

As we strive to be the undisputed world leader in aviation services, Menzies Aviation serves the world’s highest-rated airlines in more than 250 airports, with a team of more than 35,000 staff in 56 countries on six continents. We provide comprehensive aviation services that include ground and cargo handling, warehousing and air freight, aircraft fueling, wholesale freight forwarding, airport technologies, and lounges management.

In 2014, I was honored by the World Economic Forum in Davos as a Young Global Leader for my contributions to aviation and airport services. I have participated in the meetings in Davos 9 times, and have been invited to speak about aviation policy and mobility. I was also invited to join the Global Future Council on Mobility, and serve on several boards including National Real Estate Company (NREC – listed), United Projects Company (UPAC – listed), Silk Road Mining, Royal Aviation and the Center for Leadership at the University of Colorado - Boulder.

I have an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree from the American University of Beirut. I am a husband, father of three sons, and enjoy running, swimming, beach volleyball, and reading biographies.
