Lucy Cooper

Lucy leads customer innovation across EMEA & APJ for Microsoft. This involves working with Microsoft's biggest customers to curated, pioneer and accelerate value cross their digital transformations. Lucy is an experienced facilitator of C-suites and Boards and an expert in the growth playbook corporate's need to undertake. Additionally, she writes often, is a seasoned panelist, speaker and moderator, including leading stages at TEDx, Cannes Lions and other notable events. Lucy is a mentor and advisor to female founders and organisations on a wide-range of topics from generational diversity in leadership to business building and governance.

Hilary Cottam

Social Entrepreneur, Centre for the Fifth Social Revolution, United Kingdom

Social entrepreneur. Author. Innovator. Current work focuses on design of new social systems required to meet the dual challenges of technology revolution and climate change with a particular focus on the design of good work. Author of Radical Help (Little Brown 2018) acclaimed book on the future of welfare systems. Current practice focuses on work, care and the design of new forms of work organisation which can support the required tech/ecological transitions. Formerly: Founder of Participle, Director of RED at the UK Design Council and a Founding Director of Do Tank and School Works. Also worked for the World Bank. Named UK Designer of the Year in 2005 in recognition of pioneering the field of social design. Young Global Leader PhD in Social Sciences: educated at Oxford, Sussex and the Open University. Honorary Professor at UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose.

Thomas Crampton

Head, Corporate Affairs, Greenlight Biosciences Inc, United Kingdom

Thomas Crampton helps VC funds and their portfolio companies to position themselves for follow-on capital.

A former foreign correspondent for The New York Times and International Herald Tribune, Thomas went on to hold global leadership roles at the marketing and communications agencies Ogilvy & Mather and Edelman before moving into startups, including help co-found a healthtech start-up from a Zoom call through Series A as well as lead all of Corporate Affairs at GreenLight Biosciences for the biotech’s Nasdaq listing as a Unicorn.

Thomas Crowther

Professor, Department of Environmental Systems Science, ETH Zurich, Switzerland

Thomas Ward Crowther is a professor of ecology at ETH Zürich and co-chair of the advisory board for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. At ETH Zürich, he started Crowther Lab, an interdisciplinary group of scientists exploring the role of biodiversity in regulating the Earth's climate. Crowther is the founder of Restor, an online platform that provides connectivity, and transparency to thousands of conservation and restoration projects around the world. He also founded SEED, a biodiversity monitoring tool to help measure the health of nature across the globe. He was selected in the final cohort for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize, and was selected by World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader for his work to promote nature.

Rose Damen

Managing Director, Damen Yachting, Netherlands

Rose Damen is a Young Global Leader and the Managing Director of Damen Yachting. She has grown this division from luxury yachts into a business that inspires its clients to explore adventurously and also responsibly. Rose introduced a sustainability agenda to Damen Yachting, while supporting broader projects to protect the oceans. She is an advocate for gender balance and diversity. A graduate of INSEAD, Rose has prior experience as an investment research analyst in the UK and NGO coordinator in Sri Lanka. She serves on an number of non-profit boards, including those focused on the arts.

Patricia Ellen da Silva

Partner; Head, Brazil Office, SYSTEMIQ, United Kingdom

Currently Systemiq Managing Partner in Brazil and vó-founder of Aya Coalition. Former Secretary of Economic Development, Science, Technology and Labour of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum, 2016 in recognition of achievements on digital innovation, education and economic development in government. Lectures on Leadership and Digital Innovation at the Master of Public Management Program of the Center for Public Leadership (CLP). MPA, Harvard Kennedy School; MBA, INSEAD. Chief Executive Officer of Optum Brazil until 2018; previously Partner at McKinsey & Company for nearly 18 years. Focused on public sector challenges, led projects in education, health, economic development, with special focus on digital government innovation. Co-Founder of Movimento Agora!, which seeks to modernize public policy provision and management by promoting social engagement, to build a more humane and sustainable country.

Daniel de Boer

Chief Executive Officer, ProQR Therapeutics N.V., Netherlands

Daniel de Boer is a passionate entrepreneur with a drive to make a meaningful impact on society. Initially, he was focused on building IT companies; however, when his newborn son was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening disease with a limited life expectancy, it put everything in his life into perspective. de Boer decided to turn his focus towards finding a treatment for his son and other patients suffering from cystic fibrosis. He founded ProQR Therapeutics, which currently has 150 employees across Europe and the United States. Inspired by his work for cystic fibrosis patients and with a goal to impact many more lives, de Boer decided to broaden the scope of ProQR to include developing drugs for several other severe, rare diseases for which no treatments are available.

H.R.H. Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme

Climate Envoy, Netherlands Government, Netherlands

Jaime is the Climate Envoy of the Netherlands. He has an extensive diplomatic career in forging partnerships for innovative solutions to complex global challenges. He was the Senior Advisor on Private Sector Partnerships to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), where he worked on the energy transition in refugee settlements. As the Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Holy See (Vatican), he partnered on peace, climate action and forced migration. As Special Envoy for Natural Resources, he initiated the Responsible Mining Index and set up conflict-free supply chains of metals and minerals in the DRC with the private sector and civil society. He was a member of the Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Competition, worked in the field as Political Advisor to the Dutch Commander of the NATO Peacekeeping Mission in Afghanistan and helped set up the Netherlands Embassy in Iraq. He has held various other functions in MENA, Africa and Latin America. Born in the Netherlands in 1972, he holds an MA from Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA from Brown University. He is married and has two young daughters. Concurrently he is a Member of the Board of the Forum of Young Global Leaders (WEF).

Alexander de Carvalho

Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Public Group International, United Kingdom

Alexander is the Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of PUBLIC, a venture firm he set up to help solve some the biggest technology problems across the public sector. PUBLIC is one of the biggest investors in GovTech companies in Europe across important sectors including Health, Social Care, Security, Policing and Welfare. Alexander is also the Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of The GovTech Summit. Prior to founding PUBLIC, Alexander worked for almost 10 years in private equity before spending several years building and supporting a number startups in the UK. Alexander has been a non-executive member of the board of Heineken Holding NV since 2013 and is involved in a number of philanthropic activities.

Anne-Laure de Chammard

Member of the Group Executive Board and Executive Vice-President, Siemens Energy, Germany

Anne-Laure de Chammard is a member of the Group Executive Board of Siemens Energy. As Group EVP, she heads one of the Group's 4 global divisions, the "Transformation of Industry" global business area, supporting industries throughout their energy transition. She is also responsible transversally for the Asia Pacific and China Regions.

Siemens Energy employs around 91,000 people worldwide in more than 90 countries and generates sales of around €29 billion. The Group is listed on the DAX40 and is one of the world's leading energy technology companies and a global market leader in renewable energy. An estimated one-sixth of the world's electricity is generated using Siemens Energy technologies.

Before joining Siemens Energy, Anne-Laure de Chammard was CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International (€4 billion turnover, 20,000 employees, in over 20 countries, in Europe, Americas, Middle East, and Asia Pacific), in charge of decarbonization of industries and territories through energy efficiency services and low-carbon energy production.

Anne-Laure started her career in the USA, as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
She then joined the French Ministry of Energy and Environment in 2010, where she was leading major infrastructure public private partnership projects (motorways, high-speed railways, hydroelectric dams, offshore wind farms, etc.).
In 2014, she joined Bureau Veritas Group, global leader in conformity services for Industry, Infrastructure and Commodities, as Regional Managing Director, before being promoted President and CEO of Bureau Veritas Construction.
She joined ENGIE in 2019 as Group Chief Strategy, Research & Technology and Innovation Officer to head the group’s strategy in its zero-carbon transition. She was appointed CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International in 2021.

Member of the French “Corps des Ponts”, Anne-Laure de Chammard holds Master's degrees of Science and Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (X) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chaussées, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University (Kennedy School).

Anne-Laure sits in several supervisory boards in France and abroad. She was ranked 2nd top French economic leader under 40 (Figaro-Choiseul 100).

Florian DELMAS

Chairman, Andros & Cie, France

Florian Delmas joined Andros straight after finishing his degree in agri-food engineering. A fast learner, Florian rose quickly through the ranks. He was named Director of R&D in 2011 and promoted to Director of Industrial Products, Sourcing, and Primary Processing three years later. After cementing his understanding and competencies with an MBA at the prestigious HEC business school in 2016, Florian took the post of CEO of Andros France, spearheading the implementation of an ambitious development strategy. Two years later, in June 2018, he was named CEO of the Andros Group. In 2022, Florian will be appointed Chairman and CEO of the famous 3 billion Euro global food company. Heavily involved in changing the rules of his industry via the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, Florian published a book in 2021 called "Planète A, Plan B," which describes a new global and optimistic way of building a better world. He is also committed to inventing new Leadership approaches.

FX de Mallmann

Chairman, Investment Banking Division, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, United Kingdom

FX (Francois-Xavier) de Mallmann is Chairman of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. He has worked with Goldman Sachs International since 1993 in a number of senior roles, including as Chief Operating Officer, Global Investment Banking Division, based in New York (2007-2008); Head of the European Financing Group and Capital Markets businesses in EMEA (2009 to 2011); Global Co-Head of the Consumer Retail Group (2014-2017) and Head of Investment Banking, Switzerland. He has been a partner in the firm since 2004. He is a Member of the European Management Committee at Goldman Sachs and is a Member of the Firmwide Commitments and Investment Banking Operating committees. He sits on the Board of the International Rescue Committee. FX graduated from Hochschule St Gallen and the Community of European Management Schools in 1992.
