Steve is the Founder of Mata Investments, a diversified investment firm focusing on four key sectors: early-stage, growth equity, real estate, and financial. He has a strong family background in the mining industry, being one of the major shareholders of the largest coking coal mine in Southeast Asia. However, since 2015, Steve has adopted an impact-driven approach and divested from the coal industry.

Today through Mata Investments, Steve is a big believer in impact investing and actively seeks for opportunities in the sector. One of the more notable companies under the group is BSA Land, the largest property developer in Indonesia catering to the middle-class market. Highly driven by impact, the company shifted its strategy from high-end to the middle-class sector and currently takes a leading role in the private sector to ease Indonesia's 8 million housing backlog. With 30 projects across the nation, BSA Land has constructed over 20,000 residential and commercial units that cater primarily to young families, newlyweds, and millennials. Additionally, the company has invigorated nearly 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through its innovative and cost-efficient commercial developments across the country.

Steve was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2022 and is also a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization). He holds an MBA from Duke University, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Macquarie University and completed the Global Leadership & Public Policy Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Outside of work, Steve is an avid martial arts enthusiast. He founded Bali MMA, which quickly rose to prominence and was ranked among the Top 10 MMA Gyms in Asia by Fox Sports. The competition team is now widely regarded as one of the most competitive in Brazilian Jiujitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Kickboxing , boasting world champions and athletes from over a dozen countries its ranks.

Shuyin Tang is CEO and Co-Founder of the Beacon Fund, an innovative investment vehicle providing fit-for-purpose financing to women-led and women-focused businesses in South-East Asia. She has been living and investing in Viet Nam since 2013 and has played a pivotal role in developing the country's impact investing sector. In addition to her role at the Beacon Fund, she is also a Partner at Patamar Capital, a leading impact investing platform in South-East Asia. Tang spearheads gender lens investing initiatives at Patamar, including launching and managing the groundbreaking Investing in Women Fund. She has been recognized as one of Australia's 100 Women of Influence, an Asia 21 Young Leader, and one of the Most Influential Asian Australians: 40 Under 40. She currently serves on the board and investment committee of the Equality Fund and as the Jury President for South and Central Asia for the Cartier Women's Initiative. Tang graduated summa cum laude from the Australian National University, where she also received the University Medal.

Mr. Tanit Chearavanont was appointed the Managing Director of LOTS Wholesale Solutions in November 2017. He also serves as a member on the board of LOTS Wholesale Solutions, in addition to being an Associate Director at Siam Makro Public Company Limited. Mr. Chearavanont successfully led the clearance process from the legal board, as well as the CP Group approval for market entry into India, starting with Delhi NCR; in addition to receiving clearance for Indian company registration. Mr. Chearavanont’s profile in LOTS Wholesale Solutions encompasses responsibility for leading the overall business operations in India. Mr. Chearavanont’s brings with him a strong background and multifaceted experience across M&A, corporate finance, and consumer & retail industry. In a previous role, Mr. Chearavanont worked as the Director Operations of CP Wholesale India. He also worked with UBS AG in Hong Kong as an investment banker across different industries. Anderson Tanoto is Managing Director and Member of the Executive Management Board of RGE, a group of world-class companies in resource-based manufacturing industries operating in Indonesia, China, Brazil, and Canada, with over $35 billion in assets and a workforce of over 70,000 people. He is also a member of the executive committee of Asia Pacific Resources International Limited (APRIL), one of the largest pulp and paper producers in the world. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Tanoto Foundation, Tanoto has led various foundation initiatives and is a keen philanthropist focused on and passionate about leadership development and poverty alleviation. He was formerly a consultant at Bain & Company and holds a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Hua Fung Teh is the Co-Founder and Group President of Group ONE Holdings (ONE). He co-leads the company’s management team with a focus on group strategy, global partnerships and capital markets.

Prior to ONE, Teh was a Principal at global private equity firm TPG Capital (TPG), and was responsible for the origination, execution and portfolio management of growth and late-stage investment deals in Southeast Asia. He also served on TPG’s China and US teams. Before TPG, Teh was an aviator with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and held leadership positions both at the RSAF and at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, where he served as the Ministry’s Formula One (F1) Project Team Leader. In this role he helped secure the F1 Grand Prix hosting rights for Singapore and coordinated efforts between government agencies and the private sector to execute the first night race in F1 history in 2008.

Teh holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MEng and BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team. A Taekwondo black-belt holder, he was selected as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2015, and sits on the board of the Singapore Art Museum (SAM).

Win Win Tint is an award-winning Myanmar businesswoman. Following an education in Myanmar and Singapore, Win Win, at the age of just 21, assumed the management of City Mart Holding Company Limited (CMHL), a recently-formed family company. At that time, CMHL operated just a single supermarket in central Yangon. Despite facing difficult economic and political conditions, Win Win built the business into the leading modern retail company in Myanmar. As well as expanding City Mart supermarkets to 25 branches, she launched the Ocean Supercenter brand of hypermarkets (now present in 6 cities across Myanmar), Seasons bakery and café, City Care health & beauty stores and several other retail and food and beverage brands – all household names in Myanmar. She now leads a group with over 170 outlets and 8,000 employees.

Silverius Oscar Unggul co-founded Telapak Association with Ambrosius Ruwindrijarto in 2006. Ambrosius served as president from 2006 to 2012 and is now no longer a Telapak member. Silverius now serves as the president and is an expert on community engagement, risk mitigation and conflict resolution. Telapak transforms illegal loggers into sustainable famers through forest management, and destructive fisherman into sustainable fisherman through sustainable marine management. In collaboration with the private sector, he led Telapak to implement inclusive business on forestry, marine and tourism. Silverius was named as an Ashoka Fellow 2006, Conde Nast Traveler Environmental Award 2008, Young Global Leader 2009 and Skoll Awardee on Social Enterpreneur 2010.

Ivan Vatchkov is the founder and CEO of Kalibra.ai, a longevity and healthspan company that turns our health data into actionable insight. He is also a private investor focusing on fintech, healthtech and edtech. Prior to this he was a hedge fund portfolio manager for over 10 years at multi-billion dollar funds GAMA and Algebris Investments (Asia) in Singapore. He has been a member of the Young Global Leader community at the World Economic Forum since 2014.

Parit Wacharasindhu is a Member of Parliament from the Move Forward Party in Thailand. He is the party's spokesperson and was its policy campaign manager during the general election victory in 2023. His main area of focus is constitutional reform, democratization and education, and he is currently Chair of the House of Representatives Committee on Political Development, Mass Communications and Public Participation. Before entering politics, his work experience included managing a start-up in education and working as a management consultant, after graduating in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, where he was also elected President of the Oxford Union.

Charles Zhaoxuan Yang has served as So-Young International Inc.'s independent director since May 2019. Mr. Yang is the chief financial officer of NetEase, Inc., NASDAQ: NTES, and a director of KANZHUN LIMITED (NASDAQ: BZ). Before joining NetEase, Inc. in 2017, Mr. Yang was an executive director of the China technology, media and telecommunications, and corporate finance team at J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited based in Hong Kong and worked there for almost a decade. Mr. Yang holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University with majors in Economics and Mathematics. Mr. Yang is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Michigan.
