Oyun Sanjaasuren

Director, External Affairs, Green Climate Fund, Republic of Korea

Dr. Oyun Sanjaasuren is the Director of External Affairs of Green Climate Fund, where she leads the fund’s work on resource mobilization, partnerships, communications and advocacy. Dr. Oyun served as the first President of the United Nations Environment Assembly, the Governing Body of UN Environment (2014-2016), and has been an active advocate for sustainable development, climate change and water security. During 2016-2018, she served as Chair of the Global Water Partnership, a multistakeholder platform of more than 3,000 organizations advancing water security. Since 1998, Oyun served 5 consecutive terms as a Member of Parliament in Mongolia including as Minister of Environment and Green Development and Minister of Foreign Affairs. She is a founder of the Zorig Foundation, a leading Mongolian NGO that advances democracy, social and human right and supports youth leadership and education. She also chairs the Special Olympics Mongolia and has been actively advocating for the rights of children with disabilities. Oyun graduated from Karlova University in Prague and has a Ph.D in Earth Sciences from University of Cambridge, UK.

Andrea Sanke

Journalist and Senior Presenter, TRT World, Türkiye

Andrea Sanke has been a recognized face and voice of international broadcasters, national news networks, and city radio stations for over twenty years. Completed degrees in Spanish and journalism at universities in the United States (University of Missouri-Columbia), Ecuador (Universidad San Francisco de Quito) and Colombia (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogota). After working for US broadcasters NBC and National Public Radio in the early 90s, Andrea was based in Colombia reporting for the country's national morning TV news program, 7.30 Caracol. Andrea returned to Chicago in 1998, where she became the midday news voice of the ABC radio affiliate, Newstalk 89. In 2000, she joined Germany's international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, to present news and business magazine. Five years later, London was calling, and Andrea began anchoring and reporting for CNN International's news, business and features programs. In 2015, Andrea moved to Istanbul, Turkey as a journalist and senior presenter for TRT World news network.

Lily Sarafan

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Home Care Assistance, USA

Lily Sarafan is CEO of Home Care Assistance (HCA), where she has led the company from startup to sector leader with nearly 10,000 employees. HCA is the largest premium provider of in-home care for seniors in North America. Lily is also a board member and investor for innovative companies, serving as a board director at Thumbtack and at Counsyl through its acquisition by Myriad Genetics.

Lily serves on the Stanford University Board of Trustees, the Freeman Spogli Institute Council, and the Stanford Undergraduate Cabinet. She is also Founding Partner of Project BIG: The Stanford Brain Immune Gut Initiative. An appointee to the California Governor's Alzheimer's Task Force, Lily serves in various other leadership roles to advance economic development, civic engagement, and precision health.

Lily holds an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering and B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University. She has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Women Health Care Executives Woman of the Year, and a Silicon Valley 40 Under 40. Lily is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

Murat Sarayli

Chair, Sarayli AS, Norway

Murat Sarayli served as National Chairman of the Young Businessmen's Association of Turkey during 2004-2008, worked on issues related to entrepreneurship, education, ethics in government, competitiveness, EU accession process of Turkey. Sarayli also chaired YES, the Brussels-based European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, for three consecutive terms until 2008, representing 40,000 members from 16 countries. Assuming responsibilities at YES in November 2004, Sarayli made the Lisbon Agenda, Europe's strategic plan towards greater economic growth and job creation, the hallmark of his tenure. He worked for a better business eco system for the young entrepreneurs in Europe. He is the co-founder of Visa-Free Europe movement and sits on the Board of the International Competitiveness Research Institute of Turkey He has been active in his family-owned group of companies since 1989. The Group is active in tourism, construction, real estate development and international trade. In addition to his devoted time for the development of entrepreneurship in Europe, he has been active in Sub Saharan Africa during last 20 years both for NGO work and business development. Sarayli graduated with a degree in Management from the Middle East Technical University, attended the Global Leadership and Public Policy module at Harvard KSG and the “Foundations For Leadership in the 21st Century” program at Yale University and living in Oslo.

Adi Sariaatmadja

Chairman, Surya Citra Media, Indonesia

Adi Sariaatmadja has served as CEO of PT Kreatif Media Karya (KMK), a fully owned subsidiary of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek), since 2012 and holds the position of Chairman of Surya Citra Media, the largest media company in Indonesia. He oversaw the digital transformation of Emtek Group. Under his supervision, he founded Vidio (the leading premium OTT/streaming service in Indonesia) and Dana (the top payment app in Indonesia). He also led the group to invest in a few notable tech companies which included Bukalapak (a leading O2O e-commerce that had the largest IPO in Indonesia in 2021), PropertyGuru (SEA’s leading online property company that went public in 2022 in NYSE), Kudo (acquired by Grab in 2017) and many others. Sariaatmadja’s passion to digitize the group’s business has led to a far-reaching cultural and technological transformation of its various businesses.

Teruhide Sato

Founder and Managing Partner, Beenext Pte. Ltd., Singapore

Teruhide Sato participated in founding the JV of Softbank Corporation and US online payment company, Cyber Cash (now eContext Asia) while he was in Keio University SFC in 1997. In 1999, he found BEENOS Inc. as Founder, CEO. BEENOS is listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2004 and now consist of over 80 subsidiaries and investment portfolios of E-commerce and Online Payment companies in Japan, US, Europe, India, Turkey and South East Asia countries. Teruhide now plays his role as Strategic Investor and Advisories of those startups and contributes in expansion of global entrepreneur network. In 2008, the World Economic Forum elected him as a “Young Global Leader”.

Arvind Satyam

Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Pano AI (WEF Technology Pioneer), the leader in early wildfire detection and actionable intelligence using AI, IOT and satellites; Previously, Managing Director, Global Public Sector at Cisco; led growth initiatives for $13Bn public sector business including critical infrastructure, cyber security strategy for state and national governments and public private partnerships with multinational institutions. Formerly, drove sales, strategic partnerships and venture investments for Cisco’s IOT & Smart City businesses. Undergraduate degree and Master’s in Computer Science and Finance, University of New South Wales, Australia; alumnus, Harvard Business School. Adams Advisor, UNC. Thomas Saueressig

Member of the Executive Board, SAP Product Engineering, SAP, Germany

Thomas Saueressig is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. He leads the Board area SAP Product Engineering and has global responsibility for all business software applications. This includes all functional areas from product strategy and management to product development and innovation as well as cloud operations and support. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes the SAP S/4HANA suite, the SAP Digital Supply Chain portfolio, SME, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and industry solutions. In addition, SAP Product Engineering is responsible for offerings such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP Fieldglass, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Customer Experience solutions. Saueressig is also in charge of the global SAP Labs Network and the SAP Enterprise Adoption organization including SAP Globalization Services, user enablement, and the overall quality of SAP software products.
Before being appointed the head of SAP Product Engineering, Saueressig was chief information officer (CIO) and global head of IT Services at SAP. As CIO, he was responsible for SAP’s IT strategy and execution following a cloud-first approach. Under his leadership, the IT organization pioneered new business models. Prior to that, he led the enterprise mobility efforts including all cross-functions, followed by global responsibility for the IT project delivery and client IT organizations.
Saueressig started his career at SAP in consulting for CRM implementations. He spent several months in SAP Labs Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, California (USA), and was a Board assistant for several years.
He was included on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list in 2016. As global sponsor for the SAP Business Women’s Network, the largest employee network at SAP, and for the Women in Technology initiative at SAP, Saueressig supports corporate initiatives for gender equality.
Saueressig has a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim (Germany) and a joint executive MBA from ESSEC Business School (France) and Mannheim Business School (Germany).

Marietje Schaake

Diego Schalper

Eva Scherer

Chief Financial Officer, Daimler Truck AG, Germany

Eva Scherer is the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG. Eva joined Daimler Truck in April 2024 after having worked for Siemens AG for 20 years, where she held various leadership positions across different businesses and countries. She took over the regional Chief Financial Officer role at age 27 to set up the Middle East/Asia-Pacific headquarters for the Siemens Building Technologies division in Singapore. In this role she secured various projects promoting energy efficiency and sustainability across the region, including the company's involvement in the Greener Government Buildings programme in Australia. After five years in Asia, she transferred to Germany in 2017 to head the global finance and controlling function for the Mobility division and played an instrumental role in setting up Siemens Mobility as separately managed company within the Siemens Group. From 2020 to 2022 she led the Rail Infrastructure and Software businesses at Siemens Mobility as Chief Financial Officer with the mission of making sustainable transport easily and conveniently accessible to foster decarbonization and improve air quality. In October 2022, she was appointed Head of Group Investor Relations at Siemens, and served as interface between Siemens and the capital markets, while continuing to fight for reducing emissions and making air breathable for everyone as the Co-chair of the World Economic Forum‘s Alliance for Clean Air.
