Luiza Mattos

Partner; Head of Healthcare South America, Bain & Company, Brazil

Luiza is a Partner with Bain & Company in São Paulo. As the Leader of the Healthcare practice in South America, she is passionate about developing strategies to deliver quality healthcare solutions under rationalized costs, being a catalyst for a more sustainable system. She has deep expertise in payers, primary care and hospital providers, as well as healthcare ecosystems, authoring points-of-view on how to advance the Brazilian healthcare system. She supports clients to develop deep understanding of their customer’s journeys, in order to deliver unique customer experiences, based on omnichannel approaches, state-of-the art technology and robust metrics. She is an enthusiast of transformations using Agile and Human-Centric co-creation approaches, as Design Thinking. As Womxn @ Bain Champion in South America, she dedicates time to promoting gender parity and developing young female leadership, within Bain as well as in the corporate world, by building studies on how to promote more women in leadership positions. Luiza holds a Master in Management focused on Information Businesses (Coppead Management School, Brazi), and a MBA with major in Finance, Operations and Marketing (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA). She graduated in Electronic & Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Billy Mawasha

Chief Executive Officer, Kolobe Nala Investments, South Africa

Billy Mawasha has been CEO of Kolobe Nala Investment Company (KNI) since April 2019. KNI is an investment holdings company with interests in mining, manufacturing, and energy.

Prior to KNI, Billy was Country Head – South Africa for Rio Tinto and Managing Director of Richard Bay Minerals. He previously held leadership, operational and technical roles at Anglo American (Kumba Iron Ore), AngloGold Ashanti and De Beers. His career has given him deep exposure to mining operations and projects across the Africa continent.

Billy is a Certified Director (IoDSA) and a Non-Executive Director of JSE listed Impala Platinum Holdings, Exxaro Resources and Metair Investments.

In 2017, Billy was selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) of the World Economic Forum, and in March 2023, he was invited to join the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Responsible Resource Use.

Billy graduated with an Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and has completed executive development programmes at Harvard Kennedy School, Kellogg School of Management, London Business School and GIBS in South Africa.

Marissa Mayer

Co-Founder, Lumi Labs, USA

BSc (Hons) in Symbolic Systems and MSc (Hons) in Computer Science, Stanford University. Formerly: with UBS Research Lab, Zurich, Switzerland; SRI International; 13 years at Google in numerous positions, including as engineer, designer, product manager and executive, and launched more than 100 well-known features and products; played an instrumental role in Google Search, leading the product management effort for more than 10 years; latterly, Vice-President, Local, Maps and Location Services, Google. July 2012, joined Yahoo! as President and Chief Executive Officer. Member of the Board of Directors, Wal-Mart. Member of the Board of various non-profits, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Ballet and the New York City Ballet.

Lindiwe Mazibuko

Rhea Mazumdar Singhal

Chief Executive Officer, Ecoware Solutions Private Limited, India

Rhea Mazumdar Singhal is the Founder and CEO of Ecoware, India’s first and largest sustainable packaging company. Rhea was awarded the Nari Shakti Puraskar, the highest civilian honour for women by the President of India. Rhea is a World Economic Forum ‘Young Global Leader’ (YGL) and a member of the CII National Committee on Women Empowerment & Clean Air. Rhea has attended the University of Bristol, Oxford and Harvard University. Prior to founding Ecoware, Rhea was a senior sales executive at Pfizer Inc., UK .

From the UK, Rhea moved to India where she founded Ecoware with the sole aim of solving India’s plastic menace. Ecoware disrupted the food packaging industry by introducing a fully compostable alternative to plastic. Ecoware is made from the waste of agricultural crops that would otherwise be burnt, thus contributing to debilitating air pollution. One of Rhea’s greatest successes has been persuading the Indian Railways, the largest food service operator in India, to switch to Ecoware biodegradables trays. Rhea has been featured in major national and international publications and has appeared as a speaker at events such as Salesforce and the National Commission for Women in India.

Francesca McDonagh

Chief Executive Officer, Yahoo, USA

Francesca McDonagh is a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group AG and is the Group Chief Operating Officer, based in Zurich. She is responsible for steering the strategic development of the bank, including our key operational and cost transformation programs, including focusing on organizational design and bank-wide efficiencies. Francesca also holds functional reporting lines for Strategy, Sustainability, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Group Business Support Services (GBSS), and Procurement.

Francesca joined Credit Suisse in September 2022 from Bank of Ireland where she served as Group CEO from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, she worked at HSBC for 20 years, serving in a number of leadership roles, including Group General Manager, Retail Banking and Wealth Management, and Regional Head, Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Middle East and North Africa. In her two decades with the firm, she worked in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.

Francesca is also a member of the World Economic Forum of Young Global Leaders, Class of 2014. Francesca holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours) from Oxford University.

Mariame McIntosh Robinson

President, Qenta Inc., USA

Mariame McIntosh Robinson is a global financial services leader with 20+ years’ experience as a P&L leader, investor, board member and advisor to leading companies in the US and the Caribbean.
Mariame currently serves on several regional and global Boards of public and private companies, and is also a senior advisor at a fintech firm. Prior to this she was the President & CEO for six (6) years at First Global Bank in Jamaica where she led the Bank’s successful transformation and strategic pursuit of Financial Inclusion.
Mariame also spent almost two decades investing in and helping Caribbean businesses to transform; and advising US Fortune 500 company CEOs and their teams on growth strategy and implementation at Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company.
Mariame is passionate about leadership to drive impact, and is a co-Founder and advisor for a strategy, leadership and cultural transformation advisory firm focused on driving better outcomes for family-owned/founder businesses.

Mariame holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a M.Phil in Economics from Oxford University where she attended as the 1998 Jamaica Rhodes Scholar.

She is married with two children.

Eva McLellan

Co-Founder and Co-Chair, UNLOCKING EVE Foundation, Switzerland

Eva McLellan is a purpose-driven transformational leader with nearly 20 years of global business leadership and management experience in biotechnology. Recognized as a forward-thinking strategist, she has dedicated her career to driving positive change in healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes. Having held senior global strategy and country leadership roles in Canada, Switzerland and BeLux, McLellan has also led significant strategic projects in emerging markets. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a proven ability to build and lead teams that foster innovation, reshaping access to and the delivery of care in diverse areas such as early pipeline, infectious disease, oncology, haematology, rare diseases and digital health. As General Manager of Roche Pharma, McLellan’s external focus is on forging strong partnerships and scaling innovative approaches to shape health systems, enhance care and ensure equitable, sustainable access to innovation. In addition to her executive role, she actively contributes to the strategic direction of the industry, serving on the boards of the Bled Institute for Leadership in Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (as Co-Chair), and the American Chamber of Commerce (as a member). Her commitment to advancing women in healthcare is evident from her past role as a regional council board member of the Healthcare Business Women's Association (HBA) in Europe in 2019. In 2021, McLellan co-founded Unlocking Eve, a global foundation in collaboration with Kaye Vitug. The foundation's mission is to unlock 100 million integrated leaders and foster a community of action (thinker-doers) to drive meaningful progress on Sustainable Development Goals #3 and #5. This initiative also involves pioneering research on new leadership models essential for achieving these goals. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of INSEAD Business School’s Executive Management Program.

Miguel Medina

Minister of Investment, Office of the President of Honduras, Honduras

Miguel is a young public leader that is currently the Minister Investment and the Executive Secretary of the National Investment Council. Before joining the Government of Honduras, Miguel worked as a General Manager for the second largest gas retail company in Honduras and Guatemala. He was also the Director of Corporate projects for Grupo Montecristo, a Honduran family owned conglomerate with investment in renewable energy. Miguel has a MBA from Georgetown University; and a bachelor of Arts in Business Leadership from the University of Dallas.

Sonia Medina

Executive Director, Climate Change, Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Switzerland

Seasoned professional in the field of climate change, energy transition and philanthropy. Currently lead climate programme at Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, largest private foundation focused on children and climate.

Formerly: worked on climate change and energy issues, United Nations Environment Programme, Paris; with EcoSecurities, one of the largest carbon offset project developers in the world, from its start-up phase through to its acquisition by J.P. Morgan & Chase in early 2010, as Global Head of Origination, then US Country Director; chief operating officer of a start-up developing high-quality biomass supply chains deriving from existing plantations in West Africa.

Amit Mehra

Managing Director; Global Lead, Sustainability Services, Strategic Clients, Accenture, United Kingdom

Amit is Managing Director and Global Lead - Sustainability Services for Strategic Clients and Commercial Growth at Accenture where he is responsible for growing the sustainability services business at the firm’s top global accounts, embedding sustainability in large transformational deals, and driving select strategic partnerships in sustainability. Amit is a member of the global leadership team tasked with building the end-to-end sustainability services business at Accenture, spanning strategy through execution. Earlier, he advised Accenture's clients and architected new capabilities for driving growth, continuous innovation, and business performance primarily in the Media, EdTech, Food and AgTech sectors, focusing on the CEO and the Board agenda. Previously, Amit was the founder, CEO and Board Director of RML AgTech/Reuters Market Light (later split into FarmBee and other businesses), a globally awarded mobile-led content and commerce business serving farmers, agri enterprises and financial institutions. Amit founded the business in Thomson Reuters, UK and later spun it off raising VC funding and ran it as CEO till it scaled to millions of users, multiple multi-lingual digital products, and B2C and B2B revenue streams. Before founding RML, he held various strategy, operational and investment roles in Reuters, UK, and was also the founding advisor at London Business School to help set up the Wheeler Institute for Business and Development. A Young Global Leader (YGL) alumnus at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Amit also sits on WEF's Global Future Council (GFC) on Clean Air. Amit graduated from SRCC, India, did his MBA from London Business School, and has attended YGL Modules on Global Leadership, Public Policy, and Energy Transition at Harvard and Princeton Universities.
