Each year, we select 100 outstanding individuals from thousands of candidates worldwide to join our community.

We’re looking for people who have not only excelled in their fields, but who also bring the insight, curiosity, and drive needed to help shape what’s next.



YGL nomination is for members and partners only, and not open to the general public.

Nominations are by referral only and made through our community and partners. We do not accept unsolicited applications.

What we look for

We seek individuals with:

- A proven track record of professional excellence and meaningful achievement

- A clear sense of purpose and the capacity to contribute to cross-sector dialogue

- A commitment to continuous learning, collaboration and global perspective

- The ability to engage with complexity and think beyond silos


While alignment with the World Economic Forum’s areas of focus is not a requirement, we value candidates who demonstrate relevance to the Forum’s global agenda. These themes can serve as inspiration:
